Great stay, second time in this place

Superb chalet, very large and spacious. It has all the comforts you need. What's more, it's the house where the owner grew up and it's a sort of "museum" with lots of objects from the Sami world. The chalet is ideally situated for hiking from the house. We saw reindeer and elk in the wild on several occasions, even though they belong to Sami herders. You don't need to pay an organisation to see them, just go for a walk.

Appartamento molto grande, con 3 camere da letto, e un soggiorno molto grande, con annesso di camino. Cucina molto ben equipaggiata con più del necessario. Host molto disponibile e amichevole, ci ha consigliato i posti da vedere, e ha portato il nostro bambino a fare un giro con il quad e ci ha portato a vedere un rituale che fanno con le renne per l'allevamento. Sembrava come essere a casa, in famiglia vista la sua disponibilità Consigliatissimo.

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was clean, well-equipped, and surrounded by beautiful nature. A frozen river was nearby, and we even had the chance to go on a dog sledding ride just a short distance away. It’s the perfect place for anyone looking for peace and a deep connection with nature. The highlight of our stay was witnessing the breathtaking Northern Lights—an unforgettable experience! Highly recommended!

Amazing - very good surrounding, very spacious house, stunning view - best Airbnb experience ever. We arrived and the fireplace was running - it was a very warm welcome. Everything was on it spot nothing was missing. The Sauna was exraordinary good. We enjoyed the whole stay and we surely want to come back as soon as possible. The host was very kind and could help us out very quickly. She answered so fast you, would not belive it. Awesome! This is an Airbnb everybody is looking for - keep going. Great stay, second time in this place

We really enjoyed our stay as a base for our activities in the Kilpisjarvi area and day trips to Alta. The home was beautiful and well-appointed with furniture and household goods. The jaccuzi in the bathroom was a great touch—just know the shower is attached to it as opposed to in a stall. Beautiful location and very cozy feel that kept warm even in early March. Highly recommend!

Thoralf’s communication was great, the apartment was clean, tidy and comfortable. We were able to walk to the town although it was too far to walk with our luggage, Thoralf kindly organised pick up from the bus and return us the following day back to our next bus. Karasjok is a beautiful place and we wish we’d had another day to stay 😀
