Well equipped kitchen, big spacious house, great for our group of 5. At least a 10min flat walk to the beach, however a beach cart was needed if taking a beach cabana and chilli bins etc. We opted for a short drive to the beach when we were going for a few hours. Nice walk up the hill through bush to get to Whale Bay which was beautiful.

This place was absolutely incredible! The location was perfect, with breathtaking cliffside ocean views that made every moment special. It was very private and had plenty of space to relax and unwind. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, making our stay comfortable and stress-free. On top of that, the owner was incredibly kind and even allowed us a late check-out, which we truly appreciated. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway!

Anthony is a great host, very responsive and friendly. The house is amazing and the views are something else! Russell is a lovely place to visit as well. We loved our stay and hope to be back one day!

11 out of 10! This place ticked all our boxes and absolutely exceeded our expectations! Private, gorgeous views and had everything we needed for a weekend away! We loved having an evening drink on the deck and watching the sunset in the hot tub! Silv and Steve were such wonderful hosts! They were friendly, genuine, generous and really walked the extra mile for us. Could not recommend their beautiful place enough!

Our group of 7 women rated this house as one of the highlights of our 4 day stay in Russell. The location is scenic and peaceful and only a short drive to the town centre. We wished we'd had more time to enjoy the pleasures this house offers and would highly recommend both it and the host Dave.

One of the things that’s hard about finding a place in a new place is the sense of relative distances. We were further outside of town than we had expected, but man was it worth it. The views down to the bay were spectacular. And being from the northern hemisphere, the night sky is of particular interest. We were lucky with high pressure, so being just far enough outside of town gave us breathtaking star gazing. Jo was so helpful in making suggestions for places to see, quickly able to help us prioritize based on the way we roll, a good mix of walking and driving, a wonderful resource and real hospitality pro. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Such a peaceful, beautiful park like setting. The accommodation itself has everything you’ll need. There are so many huge windows that bring the outside in. Minutes to beautiful beaches and local restaurants and shops. Greg and Annette are fabulous hosts. So friendly and personable with lots of recommendations of things to see.
