We loved this place! The location is great - it is nestled between a beach on one side and a river on the other. The caretakers on location were extremely helpful and sweet. The house is beautiful and spotless. This is a great place for a large group, with plenty of beds and bathrooms. There are some restaurants a few mins away from where food can be ordered for pick up. The host was responsive and provided local recommendations. We had a wonderful time here and definitely deserves a thumbs up.

This is one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed at. It feels very private, like home—peaceful and extremely beautiful. We really want to come back! There is still some scope for improvement, such as having white sheets, but that's very minor. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

Arjun was truly a super host. I booked his place for my parents and they loved the place and service. Arjun also went out of his way to fulfil their last minute requirements and made their stay a very pleasant one.

Easily a 5 star apartment. It was sea facing and such a nice and calm place to stay. The host was really responsive and when I said we are coffee drinkers, provided extra coffee. They also kept milk which was a biiiig help, considering there was nothing to eat or drink nearby. One thing is when we put the location on gps it routed us through some bad route, but the easiest way to get there is to take the sahisthilu road and take a right, cross the bus stand and reach the beach house. Thanks a lot Nischal. I’ll recommend your apartment to anyone interested.

What stood out during our stay at Blue Oasis farm was family like interaction and personal care by Ms. Helen, Susie, Jason and their lovely children. The overall experience was just great-the drive through Charmady Ghat from Bangalore, the property nestled within the large scenic green beautiful farm full of coconut and areca nut trees, herbs, flowers, and banana plantation. The dip in the Phalguni river that runs through the property was really special. The food with ingredients from the farm was delicious. Jason showed us planets and stars with his telescope. The location itself provides access to temples, waterfalls, treks, and beaches within a 1 - 2hr drive. Susie gave us map locations to these places. We trekked up Karinjeshwara temple (four yugas temple), spent a great time at Padubidri beach near Mangalore, visited the Annapoorneshwari temple just 30 mins away etc. We bought fresh food products, and cosmetics from the hosts. Next trip to cover more. Highly recommend.

Very remote and un touristic a magical place. The beach house is sandwiched between a seemingly endless golden sand beach 35kms long and the calm of the backwater. Bicycles rides and boat trips recommended. Doc’s sense of intrinsic beauty and craftsmanship is evident in the 4 homes on the island that he has restored with an artists eye for detail. He was very welcoming and helpful with planning and organisation. We also had great conversations. Theyyam rituals are a must. We were lucky to see the dancing with fire. Otherwise my favorite things were evening Kayaking at sunset to the mangroves and early morning swimming & bird watching in the back water. It’s worth also checking the peacock house on the backwater side, it sleeps 4. We stayed at this place for 6 days, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The house is well-maintained and equipped with all the essential facilities, making it perfect for longer stays. The peaceful, lush green surroundings created a serene and relaxing atmosphere. One of the biggest highlights was the location—just a short distance from the beach, the Kemmunu hanging bridge, and the kayaking spot. The road leading to the beach was absolutely beautiful. A special mention goes to our host, Alwin uncle, who was incredibly kind and helpful. He not only made us feel welcome but also gave us great recommendations for local places to eat and visit. His hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and tranquil getaway.

Fabulous location and villa for the big family to stay in, wonderful attentive staff , beautiful bedrooms , stunning views , delicious food and good entertainment .. what more could you ask for ! The villa was amazingly beautiful which gave you the feeling of staying amidst nature. Host was really good and was always available in case of any concerns. Would really recommend this stay to everyone who would like to feel at home and at the sans time enjoy the serenity of nature and its beauty!!

My stay at the Riverbanks farm was absolutely incredible! The location is perfect - right by the cauvery river, with serene views and the soothing sounds of nature. I loved waking up to the fresh air and enjoying my morning coffee while watching the sunrise over the water. The host Samynathan was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. He even shared some local tips and recommendations that made my trip special. The fishing instructor Amjad came over and taught my kids to fish in the river. The house has all amenities for a comfortable farm stay. The kitchen is loaded with cooker, toaster, utensils, knives, basic provision like rice, oil, spices etc. The extra mattresses are useful for additional guests. 4 people can comfortably stay here. Our favourite places: By the river in the morning, by the bonfire in the evening. This was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and I can’t wait to come back again.
