nice place to stay

Great stay with family. Location is middle of the city. Peaceful area with all mentioned amenities were available.

We enjoyed our stay as the place and the surrounding was really beautiful, away from the noise and busy places. The Host's Grandma was very helpful and arranged everything for us, as she was very responsive and ready to help whenever needed. Chris was clear with the instructions and helped us get there when approached about the location. Just the best place to relax and enjoy the cool weather and scenic beauty. Worth visiting again.

Tucked away in the heart of nature, our stay at the Granary was nothing short of magical. Elevated above the floor and surrounded by coffee plantation, the cabin felt like a hidden treehouse, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding woods and a peaceful escape from the rush of everyday life.

The place is good value for money overall. ..for the price, you essentially get a whole house to yourself with a caretaker/watchman at all times which is great..its also centrally located in the town while still within a peaceful locale…property came with 2 bedrooms and a single bed in the hall..bathrooms could be cleaner but it was perfectly usable..some additional amenities like towels and toiletries would be good additions.. Surya was a great host and a gentleman..always available over the phone and helpful..overall a great stay and we will come back again !

Awesome experience staying in Water Rock homestay in amazing location. It would be better if we had to stay most of the time spending there. Goes well with saying - In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.

Super glad to have stayed here. We came as a group of 4. The house is beautiful and has its own charm. Chitra ma'am and Shanthi ma'am are very helpful and friendly. They show you the property and it's amenities patiently and are easily approachable. The surroundings with the easy access to the beach made the stay memorable. The dogs present in the property are super friendly and are another reason to come visit. Please do note that the road leading to the house is fairly narrow, so you might have to drive carefully. Thanks again to Mr. Satya for allowing us to stay here.

This is our newly found happy place! Away from the maddening crowd, we spent 2 nights 3 days here with our doggo, on her annual vacation! The place is beautiful, the food is awesome and Lavanya and her family's hospitality was beyond words. The beaches are not very far from the Homestay. We visited 3 beaches and all them were beautiful and clean. We carried happy memories from Kannur, and we plan to go back soon. Cannot say enough about his hospitality and making us feel like we are at home. Would totally visit again, for the experience and the people.

Jerry, a hardcore naturalist who hosted us and made our Waynad trip more exciting. The property is well maintained and esthetic. The property is full of experiences. Jerry himself took us to his coffee plantation and a beautiful lake inside the property with his own car. We did Kayaking in his private lake and it was a wonderful experience. Sagar, his assistant, is polite and took us for a morning walk. We were able to spot birds and malabar giant squirrel. The food was amazing. Highly recommend for a perfect weekend getaway and family get togethers.

Very beautiful location and so was the homestay. Those looking for a stay away from the crowds and in the lap of nature will find this one perfect. The caretaker was also responsive. Improvement suggested in the maintenance of the bathrooms as the water was not getting drained from the bathroom floor. Overall a very nice experience.

The property is surrounded by a coffee plantation, offering stunning views of the Harangi backwaters. Parking is available for 2-3 cars. All rooms were clean, though one had minor water leakage from a cracked sink, which was manageable. The entry has a steep slope, making it slightly challenging for fully loaded cars. The owner graciously provided a complimentary light breakfast. We ordered dinner from the nearby Jungle Lodge Resort, and it was decent. Barbecue and bonfire setup with wood-oil was available, and the owner guided us to a shop for coal. We brought some newspapers that helped light the fire and our own barbecue food/drinks. Being amidst greenery, there were some insects, but mosquito repellents were supplied, ensuring a comfortable stay. Overall, this beautiful property made our New Year’s Eve truly memorable. Highly recommended for a peaceful and scenic getaway!

Peaceful place with good hospitality

Naveen ji is a good host. He was easy to communicate with and I liked the place, really spacious and great ambience.

The place was absolutely well maintained. Sudhin and Raju were very accommodating. Ensured that we were comfortable through out our stay. I highly recommend the listing.

Sharad was very responsive, the caretaker was very good he was very helpful to cater all our needs, the place was fantastic we had a great stay in this property.

A treat to the soul. In the middle of nature, peaceful, calm, big round windows were amazing. It was a feeling of home away from home. Loved staying here, can definitely go back. Breakfast options would help.

Every single penny spent on this Airbnb was worth it! really wished to stay longer but alas! The surrounding ambience full of lush green with an emerald Lake in between was the highlight. Panchami's parents were so sweet and kind to us. Aunty generously have us a tour of their plantation farms and uncle made sure we bring back lots of fresh black papers. it was a wonderful vacation.

We had a great stay. The place is exactly like the photos. It is centrally located. The people managing the place are very nice and responsive. Definitely go for it.

We made a trip to Mysore for two days and stayed at this lovely Homestay; a green oasis on the outskirts of town. The hosts were very welcoming, charismatic and eloquent. We really enjoyed the conversations we had at breakfast. The rooms were clean and you could ask the staff anything you needed at any time. There were options for yoga and massage, which we unfortunately didn’t have time to try. Can totally recommend this place if you want to get away to a quiet place close to Mysore!
