A lovely gateway in Kawartha Lakes! The cabin was perfect for relaxing with the hot tub, sauna and the fire pit available for use. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were super comfortable! Would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed here in the midst of an absolutely gorgeous fall weekend. We could not have gotten any luckier with the weather or the view of the forest, it was exactly what we were hoping for. Kristin, Chris and Charlie were welcoming and kept to themselves. They put out extra firewood in a wheelbarrow so it was easily accessible for us. Their property was absolutely gorgeous and exactly as the photos on the listing. The bed was so comfortable, both my husband and I had 2 great nights sleep and slept in. The hot tub was spacious and so enjoyable, I believe we were in and out at least 6 times. The instructions for the toilet and the rest of the cabin were easy to follow and we ran into 0 issues. We will certainly be back, if Kristin and Chris will have us 😊👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Sarah’s place was beautiful and exactly what we needed for a restful week away! We loved the included amenities and made sure to put them to good use. Whenever we needed something, Sarah was very prompt to answer and assist us! We were very pleased with our experience and would recommend the beach house or one of her other two properties at the Inspire Beach Resort.

Arlee was a sublime host. All of amenities were just as described. the location was great, host was extremely responsive and helpful. I would definitely come back and visit this place again with our family

Victoria was an amazing host, she was more than accommodating. Her place was very well decorated, the beds were so comfy. The hot tub was great. I would recommend her place to anyone looking for peace and quiet and just an overall great place to stay and relax. We were there in the winter, it was so pretty though. We definitely would like to go back in the warmer weather too. 100% recommended.

We had an amazing escape from the city at Matthew’s beautiful cabin! We could not get over how stunning and picture perfect it looked (literally out of a magazine), not a detail was missed when designing this. The cabin was so spacious, perfect for our girl group of 8, with a fully equipped kitchen that we used to cook all weekend long. We especially loved the big windows with lots of natural light & the hot tub! I would highly recommend Bettencourt lodge for your next girls getaway or family vacation!

Our family had a fantastic stay at Dory’s cottage! Dory was incredibly responsive and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We enjoyed the stunning natural surroundings and had a truly wonderful time. The cottage was spotless and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend! We will be definitely coming back in the summer!

We celebrated our new years here and we had a lot of fun. The cottage is very nicely situated in a peaceful loaction with a river flowing by the side. Jodi was responsive and made us feel at home, she was also welcoming to our requests.

We had a lovely stay at Cristian’s this September (2 couples + 2 babies). We spent most of our time enjoying the ample seating on the deck and dock, but there was plenty to do indoors as well. Gorgeous and serene views of the river. We went for a pedal boat and kayak ride everyday. Everything at Cristian’s was exactly as pictured and him and Vera were super responsive to all our questions. Would happily stay here again!

Excellent Stay! Absolutely no surprises during our weekend getaway. Wonderful host Jessica. She super quick to respond to any queries you might have.The location is very private and has lovely surroundings. The river was beautiful, we loved the fire pit out back and bbq — everything is just perfect. The cottage is very cozy. Very clean and well maintained property and decorated nicely! We had a great experience. Thank you so much! All in all - 10/10 would recommend!

The cabin was so cute and cozy. It was a great romantic get away from the city. The screened in porch was a great place for cocktails and reading and It was a short five minute walk into town. Christine was very responsive to all of our enquires. We will definitely be visiting again!

It was a pleasure staying here. The host was very responsive and helpful; everything matched the property description and was clean. We are having a really good time here celebrating the New Year. I recommend this cozy house to everyone looking for a quiet place with a good cost-to-quality ratio.

The cabin is really nice, not too close to the other cabins near by. Dishes and silverware were provided which was nice, and a mini fridge as well. We brought our own portable stove as there is no oven/stove at the cottage, and everything worked out perfectly. We stayed in cottage #3 which seemed closest to the beach area and access to kayaks, canoes, paddles, etc. Front desk was very nice and supportive when we asked to have the beach shed unlocked for us to go canoeing. Golfing is also a really fun thing to do on site! We rented clubs and golf carts and had a great time. No complaints! Nice and quiet area to go with friends, family, or as a couple.

Perfect place to relax and stay away from the city. Very cozy and clean, comfortable mattress and it has all you need to cook. The cottage is spacious surrounded by trees and extremely beautiful in the morning with the sun hitting the trees with the fall colours. Take a time to have a coffee in front of the river. Anthony and Michael answered all my questions really quickly. Furnace falls is minutes away and I highly recommend a visit there. I would love to stay there again.

We had a great weekend getaway at the Eh Frame! The cabin was as described and super cute! We had everything we needed to disconnect from the world for a couple days. There were 6 or 7 different games to play and we spent a lot of time reading as well. The trails around the cabin were really nice, a little hard to navigate at times but we never got lost! I would recommend bringing your own hand sanitizer as there is no running water. We stayed on the pull out couch and it was plenty big enough for the both of us. The outhouse was clean and the instructions for use were clear. There was plenty of firewood for the wood stove and we were also provided with snowhoes for exploring!

The listing and hosts were excellent. They were very friendly, responsive and accommodating. The property was amazing! If anything, the listing undersold it. The two cottages were very clean and well kept. There was an endless supply of activities (indoor and outdoor). There were board games, puzzles, DVDs and more. There was a whole shed full of inflatable pool toys, outdoor games, a massive floating pad, paddle boards and a paddle boat. The cottages were well stocked with home essentials like coffee/tea, foil, ziplock bags, etc. They thought of everything. We actually said that phrase out loud several times during our stay. Our family had an amazing time! We would highly recommend staying here. We plan to re-book ourselves.

Wonderful cottage with a beautiful view of the lake and a big yard with lots of privacy. Amenities are great and as described, the patio is very nice to lounge on and the fireplace is a nice touch for the evenings. The beds are super comfy, wifi is great, living room has a nice tv, bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels, and everything was super clean on our arrival. Most importantly, Shana was a terrific host, always quick to respond and answer any questions, and super accommodating with everything. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

We had a wonderful stay! Andrey and his wife met us, showed us around briefly and then were on their way. They were available by phone if we needed them. The cottage is lovely and has all the amenities we needed. It is spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Being right on the water was terrific and the sunsets were amazing! We were thankful to be able to use the fishing rods, canoe and life jackets. Too bad the paddle boat was broken. We would definitely come again!

Kyle was very easy to communicate with an answered all the questions. The spot was exactly how the description and photos described private spot kind of away from everybody and the lake was a two minute walk in front you can fish there and the local stars are about 10 to 20 minutes away. Fire pit in the back was great. felt like you were right in the middle of the woods, and there’s also a little fire pit on the deck overall me and my buddies had a great time

This place was very cozy, right on the water! It is old so if you're going in colder months you might want to bring fuzzy slippers ect. location was great! amazing view, functional bbq exactly what you need for a weekend away and the price is right :)

Beautiful weather, lovely cottage, fantastic amenities, and extremely kind and quiet neighbours! My husband and I + our two teens really enjoyed our time at Crystal Lake. The area is a lot busier than our usual lakes (the weekdays were amazing for kayaking), but our teens absolutely loved swimming off the docks and said the snorkeling was perfect. The sauna was a hit with my husband, beds were ultra comfy, and all four of us took turns cooking in the well stocked kitchen. Cabin and bunkie could easily sleep 6 in comfort, each area of the cabin was wonderful for relaxing, the waterfront decks were great, and the upper deck off the living room was perfect for lunch or after dinner drinks.
