We had an amazing stay at Byron and Pierrette’s cottage! The space was even more spacious than the photos suggested, and it had everything we could possibly need for a cozy and comfortable long weekend—especially during a winter storm. The thoughtful touch of having the driveway and walkway cleared made a huge difference and was greatly appreciated. The cottage itself was warm, inviting, and the perfect place to relax. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway and would absolutely return in the future!

My friends and I had the most wonderful girls' trip at Darlene's cottage this past weekend. The space was spotless, cozy, and very well stocked with all the necessities and beyond. We especially enjoyed the unique game room and the hot tub. Darlene even left us a s'mores kit, a bottle of wine, and a lovely note to welcome us! We highly recommend. 😊

Daniel gave a thorough intro message of specifics the day of on top of what was already so clearly laid out. The property was beautiful with access to so many activity options. House is clean and spacious. We spent a lot of time on the dock which had a great selection of furniture and sun/shade options. The beach is a close walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and will likely be back to enjoy the space again!

We had a great stay — the place was peaceful, super clean, and had all the necessary amenities. We checked out about 20–30 minutes late, and Sarah was incredibly kind and totally understanding about it. The kids had an amazing time with all the board games and activities available. The jacuzzi was a great touch.I didn’t get to enjoy it as much as I hoped due to timing, but everything else was just perfect. I noticed the electricity was off at one point, but we honestly didn’t even realize it. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be coming back. We had a great family weekend at Tedmond's cottage! We loved the property and the deck, although outside lighting maybe could have been a but brighter. Overall though, we enjoyed it! Thanks for having us!

From the initial communication and responsiveness to the cottage looking even better than the photos (and the photos are great) we really enjoyed ourselves and felt spoiled with 4 of us (2 couples + 1 pup) sharing the space. Winter was cozy, would love to experience it in the warmer months. Our hosts really designed a cottage everyone dreams of.

Mark and Chris's place was amazing and even better in person. They were very responsive with any questions and took the time ahead of our check-in to ensure a smooth check in. The location of the cottage is very private and the cottage itself is very beautifully done. We all enjoyed the hottub in the cold weather. Thanks for sharing your cottage Mark and Chris.

Our stay at Bala’s place was a fantastic experience. We were a group of 8 including 4 tween aged children. The cottage is very well located , close to Port Perry and around 45 min to Peterborough. Lots of places to visit within the Trent Severn Waterway area. Bala graciously allow us an early check-in. His place is very cute, neat, super clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals and to entertain both children and adults alike. The game room is a great addition to the cottage. Walking distance to Lake Scugog, we were able to have nice walks after a delicious BBQ dinner. The deck and the fire pit allowed us to share quality family time while enjoying nature at its best. Thank you Bala for such a warm welcome with popcorn and soda !!. We appreciated very much your always friendly and promptly response to our needs. I will definitely recommend anyone to have a great and relaxing experience at your cottage. It is worth it !

Had a great weekend at the cabin! Unfortunately, the lake was still frozen, so we couldn’t enjoy it, but the place itself is beautiful and well-equipped for a relaxing getaway. The views are stunning, and it’s clear this would be an amazing spot for lake activities when the season allows. Looking forward to coming back!

His place was great and had everything we needed, including a great view of the lake. Beautify place located on Burnt river with private dock, large furnished patio overlooking the river and forest. Tania's place had all you need for a great stay. Nice A-shape bungalow with exposed beams and open concept, make the place cozy and welcoming. We came to hike Ganaraska trail that is located just a few minutes drive. Wound recommend for family or a group of friend for a wonderful stay.

Mitch & Rayan's cabin was exactly as described. The area was very quiet and peaceful. Without question the most responsive and helpful hosts you will ever encounter. They were very helpful with recommendations and their response time was exceptional! Our only slight letdown was that we had to walk about the equivalent of a block to the water. I had it in my mind that we would be by the water. My bad because nothing like that was in the description. It was a very relaxing 3 day stay with perfect weather.

This is a fantastic cottage we loved our stay here, lots of space it had everything we needed and more. It was quiet, clean, with a beautiful view from the hot tub and the fire pit. We highly recommend to everyone! Sandra was incredible host, quick to respond to any and all questions. We would definitely stay here again!!

Jamie was very responsive in communication and did everything she could to make our family getaway as pleasant and relaxing as possible. The location is beautiful and peaceful. Our kids loved the games and a firepit in the backyard with a family game topped off the experience. Highly recommended!

Had a great stay during an ice storm. Lost power, cell service and internet. The generator turned on automatically and power was restored! Clean and tidy. Great cottage would love to rent again. Host was pleasant and friendly!

Dorrie was a great communicator, always responsive and helpful throughout our short stay. The place was exactly as described, comfortable and in a great location. We had a wonderful experience!

We booked Leigh's cottage at the last minute for our 37th wedding anniversary. She was very prompt in responding and answered all our questions immediately. From the moment we walked in we knew our stay was going to be special. Clear and pricise instructions on how to use everything in the home. So much so that we had no issues and didn't need to contact her throughout our stay as the manuals provides were very clear. The cottage is well appointed with everything you need. Exactly as described BUT even better. Beautiful open concept with a very comfortable feeling. The back of the cottage facing the river has slidding doors the entire wall so the outside comes in. There is a cute gazebo right on the water which was a lovely setting for a special dinner. The hot tube was the icing on the cake! Right off the master bedroom and private. I can't say enough about how spotless this place is. Every room is tastefully decorated and bed was super comfy. We will definately come back!

This was a beautiful cottage, lovely amenities and everything is very accessible. Wish we could have stayed for our entire stay but had to leave due to bad weather and no power ( ice/snow storm). Will try again during nicer weather ! Kyle and Winston were the most helpful people we could have dealt with, so understanding and kind.

Lovely place with lots of activities for any age. Rooms were all cozy and comfy, everything was clean and there was lots of space to hang out. Would recommend!

We stayed at the beginning of December, after a large snowfall. It was beautiful and peaceful. The house itself was lovely with so much character. The kitchen was very well equipped. There were lots of bedding and blankets, which is very much appreciated, especially since so many listings in this area expect you to bring your own. Jessica was very responsive and kind. I really loved staying here, and would come back.
