This guesthouse exactly meets the description of “cozy”. We had the best time staying here and heading into town with easy bus stops/public transportation or surrounding hotels for airport travel/day tours. Grocery stores are close by and the amenities make it possible to have such a peaceful stay. Hopefully we’ll make it back one day and stay here again if possible!

Wat een heerlijke eerste nacht in IJsland. Dichtbij het vliegveld. Mooie en vooral gezellige bnb. ‘s avonds heerlijk uurtje in de hottube doorgebracht, wat een fijn plekje. Reynir is een aardige gastheer en overal is aan gedacht. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

We had an amazing stay ! The room and bathrooms were super clean. The host was very thoughtful and gave us some great recommandations on things to visit in the area. The breakfast was a huge plus and it was very practical !

Everything was perfect. The beds were comfortable and warm. Nice place to stay for northern light. You can get by foot to the lighthouse to get the best pictures of them.

Our stay here was outstanding. Enough room for 2 people for a few nights stay and ability to cook meals etc. Listing is super accurate and spa is amazing. Took about an hour to fill up, but was perfect and private. We even saw the northern lights!! Little bit hard to find the place in the dark, but Bjarki’s instructions were clear and he was very responsive when needed. The views are just spectacular! Does have the eggy smell, but of course is just the sulphur and easy to get used to. Would come back again and again. Thank you so much!

Jóanna's place was a private special getaway from everything. Located close to downtown, but far enough to feel private and special. The place was very clean and has an amazing inside wood heater. I'd recommend this place to anyone traveling.

Great place to stay when in town for the night if you don’t mind the drive out!

Such a nice, quiet, clean stay. Great restaurant within walking distance. We minimally used the kitchen but it looked to be fully stocked, even with a few fun surprises. Small space, great for two people. Would definitely stay here again. Even got a glimpse of the Northern Lights from the garden!

This accommodation is great, clean and in very good location. My view was amazing, i saw even the church from my window🤗 I am recommending this guesthouse.

Ein wirklich liebevoll eingerichtetes Hostel, man merkt, dass hier Herzblut drin steckt! Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist super, um die Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden.

Overall good experience. The house sits within a 10 minute walk of the main downtown area of Reykjavik. I had a rental car and street parking is free in the neighborhood which is a big plus for a larger city. No issues finding a parking spot nearby. Room was clean and private. Please note that the guest house has 3 bedrooms total so you will share a bathroom and kitchen with other guests. All doors have locks on them and a key so your personal belongings are safe. Newer washer and dryer is also available. There is also a small grocery store nearby if you'd rather cook than eat out. I was happy to have rent this.

Wonderful stay, as advertised, great location. Parking, check-in and check out were all super easy.

It was lovely to stay at this Airbnb. You're only 10 minutes away from the city by foot and only 5 minutes by car. There is also a bus station nearby. If you ever need anything, the owners will reply fast and be super helpful!!!!
