I liked everything about the place! We stayed in the Hansel and Gretel cottage and it was a clean, comfortable, cute little cabin. It was a perfect base for our adventures. There was a charcoal grille off our private patio, so of course there were steaks the first night! We did every adventure they offered (except the horseback riding, ran out of time!). Micky was a wonderful host and tour guide. We met every animal on the place and the ANIMALS were even nice, well trained, well kept, and fun to be around. Vicky and Micky gave us some recommendations for a trip into Boerne, which is about 5 miles away, and they definitely picked out the best places for us to get food and entertainment. If you like animals (all kinds including some exotic birds), walking a beautiful property, being left alone to enjoy it, and personal service any time you need it I can HIGHLY recommend this place. Thanks to Micky and Vicky I was a hero for a nice anniversary weekend!

My wife and I loved our stay. The location was perfect just a few miles outside downtown Boerne. We were able to enjoy our day and quickly get away from it all on beautiful land with great cabins that feel like a true escape. The cabins were well appointed with everything we needed. Our hosts thought of everything and made our stay perfect. We had a nice chat with very hospitable chickens in the morning. And the most friendly donkey ever wished us well when we left. Don’t think twice, this is a great place to stay and the hosts are top notch. We feel like we have new friends in Boerne that we look forward to visiting again very soon.

We have had the pleasure of staying at the cottage several times. It has become our “go to” place when we want to get away from the pressures of day to day life - so cozy, peaceful and relaxing with everything we need and nice restaurants nearby. We can’t wait to return

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. They have a great thing going with rescue animals and birds. Micky took us on a tour and told us heart warming stories how they adopted these animals. This was an “experience “ and not typical Airbnb accommodations! Highly recommend!

First, Hellene is a super kind soul. We got there late, but she stayed up to welcome us with a smile. The property itself is secluded and far enough away to escape light pollution, but close enough to visit Bourne. The hot tub right out the tree house was great after a long day. The stars set a break backdrop, but the colorful lights in the trees ad to the overall feel. Will definitely be back.

A wonderful location outside of Fredericksburg. You’re definitely out in the country, but not too far away from town if you need something. A lovely spot to relax and watch the stars. Highly recommend!

Our first tiny house experience. It was accurately described and great if you’re not going to spend a lot of time at the AirBnB and plan on being mostly in town. Extremely comfortable sleeping. Peaceful private outdoors.

I rarely leave reviews but felt that this stay really deserved one! The cabin has a rustic vibe but feels very clean for being out in nature! It’s close to the road but you really feel like you are in the middle of nowhere! Very private and with everything you’ll need! I feel nowadays airbnbs rarely have amenities or anything included, I felt that this stay was what an airbnb is meant to be!

Had a great time staying with Randy and Michelle! They provided helpful and thorough instructions and the place was the perfect getaway for 2! It was in a quiet and peaceful location that offered the privacy we were looking for while still being in a great location to visit Fredericksburg!

The property was great we enjoyed our stay. The hot tube is on the front porch and is shared but it was still great to soak in. We will definitely stay there again. This property would be excellent for a larger group. There are multiple rooms available on the premises.

Such a beautifully decorated place with great amenities. Was great to enjoy the tranquility of the area and the hot tub looking up at the clear star filled night sky. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely time staying at the @soulcationcollective for my birthday! We loved exploring the out doors and being out in nature, we love nature. Jenny was so helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had! The place was just stunning and beautiful and everything you needed. We cooked kabobs the first night on the grill and it was just amazing! We loved the jacuzzi! Went in the town and visited all the shops on main st. And enjoyed ourselves coming back to relax! We look forward to coming back and exploring more of the property, 6 acres! Just beautiful, 10 out of 10 would recommended to family and friends! Thank you for hosting and letting us stay at the Hex!
