Kristy was amazing. We had an unfortunate event that made it unable for us to stay with her. She was so responsive and allowed us to reschedule the stay with ease. I would recommend her for her compassion to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area. A very, very kind woman.

Jacueline's home was warm and spacious enough for our group. The prospective DSU stuents thoroughly enjoyed their stay. They want to return for a summer stay if Jacqueline invites them🙂. I would definitely stay again at her place again. Thanks for the gift!

This is the perfect spot for a large group! There is plenty of room inside and out, with beds for everyone. It was also great to have multiple rooms with TVs so people could relax, and ample parking space. A great find and great host!

Rick and Patty's home was even better than expected. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and the cupboards and drawers were even labeled. It was so easy to find what we needed and keep the place organized. ( We cooked and ate all of our meals at the house). The house is very comfortable and there is plenty of space to spread out. The grounds are beautifully kept and the garden is lovely. The dogs were thrilled with the size of the fenced in yard and especially loved the treats that Patty and Rick left for them. Although it was incredibly hot the week we visited, the screened in porches allowed us to be outside - sort of. The AC and ceiling fans were able to quietly keep us cool. Of course the proximity to the beach and the preserve were the initial reasons we rented the house, but the comfort and amenities of the home itself were reason enough. Thank you for having us.

From the start of booking to leaving after our stay Lucille and Jessica were responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend. The house was spotless and the place was peaceful. Since the host live on the property we happen to see them and communicate. Very nice and available. We felt right at home.

My family and I loved spending a long weekend at Susan's cozy, tasteful place on the water. The location is especially private and peaceful and we particularly enjoyed the screened porch and fire pit / hammock area.

Well equipped house within very short walking distance to quite, private beach. Great amenities -- including bikes, kayak and paddle board. Private beach was gorgeous and very dog friendly, water was calm and shallow. Short driving distance to Lewes for great food, including terrific crabs.

Bill & Elizabeth were very concerned because we hadn't arrived when we were expected. The beach front property was lovely, very relaxing. It was fun to see the cargo ships in the bay going to Wilmington. There is a Wildlife Preserve across the street. We saw deer at various times through out the day. Bill & Elizabeth are lovely hosts. We plan to go back i the spring. The Vedriches

Joe was very quick to reply with any questions. The house was clean. The hospitality was appreciated. Joe made doggie bags for our dogs, and the refrigerator has water, soft drinks and sodas. We loved the miss Pac-Man video game.

Great place - just the right size for two of us and our dog for a quick Thanksgiving getaway. The house had everything we needed and was not too far from the towns on the Eastern Shore. Looking forward to a return visit.

The property was not only charming and well-maintained but also conveniently located near local attractions, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. One of the standout aspects of my stay was the responsiveness and hospitality of the owner, Gary. When I arrived, I encountered a minor hiccup—I had forgotten the combination to the lock. However, Gary resolved this issue effortlessly, demonstrating exceptional customer service and genuine care for his guests. He responded quickly to my message and guided me through the process to regain access, which made me feel incredibly supported. The amenities provided were top-notch, and I appreciated the attention to detail throughout the space. It felt like a home away from home, with comfortable furnishings and thoughtful touches that enhanced my stay.

In general, we loved the place. A few shortcomings: coffee machine was not emptied and cleaned. No soap in showers. No broiler pan or sheet pan. No scissors. Sugar would have been helpful. But, otherwise, the house was spotless and well supplied. Thank you, Nate

Ryan was immediately communicative and helpful! We were welcomed with a beautiful property and a clean and comfy home. There was plenty of space for our entire family to hang out and be together. It felt like home. Ryan and his team had the place ready for us to have a flawless trip and even gave suggestions to us in the area. He worked around our unexpected Florida hurricane that almost ruined our trip, but Ryan made sure we had nothing to worry about! We will be returning again!

Great place to stay while visiting family in the local area during the holidays. Location was good and enough space for three adults and two dogs. Will definitely rent again.

Maria was an excellent host. She responded immediately to our questions/requests. She left detailed instructions, great local recommendations, and treats for the kids. Her house was very clean and exactly as pictured. The house had everything we needed and more! We had a great experience while we were in town for a lacrosse tournament and will definitely stay there again.

Kate’s place was perfect! Beautiful, comfortable, peaceful, everything we needed! And the neighbors, Krista and Mike are new friends!! Great great place!
