The place was beautiful, and very spacious. It is very well decorated and has a lot of character. There are a lot of entertainment amenities including the projector, Alexa in each of the rooms, and tvs throughout the property. There is a quaint exterior area on the rooftop, which is great for grilling out and just relaxing. We will definitely be back on subsequent trips. Jason is very responsive and respectful, he is definitely an amazing host.

Everything was very good bdrm, 2 baths, waterfront! Dock to fish from! love the Morning/all day room for us. We enjoyed fishing and Bird watching, Eagles and Osprey among other, I know why the call it Bird River! Will definitely stay again. Hosts were very understanding of our changing plans, quick response times!

This home is really nice! We stayed there because our daughter was getting married at a venue about 5 minutes away from the home. It was perfect! Plenty of space for our family and was great for the bridal party to get ready! Nice open floor plan. The beds a bedrooms were very large with comfortable beds. The home was well equipped. The outdoor area was nice and I’m sure the pool is nice in the summertime. Thank you for sharing your home with us on this very special occasion.

This was one of our favorite airbnb stays. The home was very clean, spacious and well decorated. It was in a great neighborhood; close to downtown Chestertown, but very quiet and serene. The screened in back porch and hot tub were amazing! We didn't get around to enjoying the fire ring, but it looked inviting, too. We spent our days sightseeing, had dinner at new restaurants and then ended our evening in the backyard. Just the relaxing getaway we were looking for. If you are thinking about staying at Dwayne's place.....DO IT! You won't be disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. The Bay was across the street. There were many extra Amenities available to us on the grounds. The house was in a perfect location, very well maintained, fully equipped, very cozy, and within walking distance to everything. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Megan was the perfect host. She was very welcoming, friendly, warm, and responsive. Everything went smoothly and was exactly how she said that it would be. There were no unexpected surprises. We can't wait to go back!

Brandon was very responsive and his house was exactly what we needed for visiting DC with children and a dog. The drive into DC was easy and scenic. The house was clean, the fenced yard was great for the dog, the neighborhood felt safe with great water views for walking, and there were good restaurants on the water within short driving distance from the house. Overall it was a great experience!

Great, Kid friendly, Family oriented. Host is kind and extremely involved and responsive. This will be added to my favorites ❤️

Very quiet and peaceful home. Jennifer was very helpful and extremely responsive. The home was very clean and spacious, they provide plenty of activities for your entertainment or it’s extremely easy to watch a movie and just relax. The home was exactly like the pictures, check in and out was very easy.

Had an amazing stay for my girlfriends birthday. Great place to stay if you like being able to have some of the comforts of home. There’s also books with things to do in the area which we found very helpful. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed our time. Lots to do in the area and very close proximity to Baltimore and DC. Will definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

I was staying here for an event at the turf valley resort. it was an all day thing so while I stayed two nights I was rarely there. nice, clean, good area, real close to turf valley if you have something but it's sold out. the sofa bed was super comfy, and they are purring in a mattress soon. I would stay again, in fact maybe for next year's event.

What a wonderful place for a peaceful, lakeside getaway. Upon entering the space i immediately wanted to move in! So cozy and spacious with great natural light. I loved watching the sun set beyond the lake. Kevin was a gracious and responsive host. I felt very welcome and cared for. Highly recommend!

What a great place to stay! Everything I needed, beautifully and thoughtfully set up, a block from downtown, and an pleasant walk (or drive) to the Chester River right through the historical section of town, especially in the morning or early evening when everything is peaceful. Many thoughtful touches upon arrival - right down to biscuits for the dog - and helpful things like a basket of travel sized toiletries in case I'd left something behind. The hosts were easily available if needed but explanations were clear and everything intuitively set up, so I didn't need a thing. Thanks, Beth and Bob!

So many wonderful things about our stay: amazing location, place was as pictured, responsive host, easy check in, no problems with parking, even some thoughtful snacks! I loved the neighborhood. Sound definitely travels from the unit above. It sounds like happy baby feet so it’s not a huge problem but might matter depending on your preferences/sensitivity.

We had a winter visit and despite it being freezing outside the house was nice and toasty and we appreciated the fast hot water for showering. No fenced yard for our dog but it's a nice area to walk around. Central location, close to restaurants. Would stay again.

We can’t say enough good things about Wayne and Kathleen! We would give them 10 stars . We have family in Baltimore for the next four years and we hope to stay at our “home away from home” each time. The apartment is spotless, comfy, and totally stocked with all one could need. The setting is so beautiful and inviting. I loved to sit down by the Creek and watch the wildlife in the early morning. We plan to come back and hopefully fish and kayak. Keep up the great job of representing Baltimore well !! Until our paths cross again , peace and happy hosting. Anita and Jack W.

This is such a nice spot if someone wants to get away from a suburban/city enviroment. Super cozy vibes and the hosts were kind and checked in on us while we were there during a snow storm. Overall highly recommend. Very private and comfortable cabin experience.

Loved the cabin! Especially enjoyed the hot tub and board games and super comfortable beds! Woke up every morning to the sounds of the birds. Perfectly clean, quiet and peaceful (we did think it would be set back further from the street, but there’s almost no traffic so the road noise was minimal). The wood-fired hot water and heat give a nice rustic touch, plenty of wood is included and it only needs to be stoked twice a day. Laundry soap is provided, which was a nice bonus, as are the kitchen staples (peanut butter, flour, spices, popcorn, etc). Melody is a great communicator, answering all questions promptly, and everything was as described in the listing. Everything is labeled and the instructions and house rules are clear and easy to understand. As someone who travels frequently, this property is well above average, particularly in this region. Will happily stay here again next time we’re in the area!

Cocina limpia y con muchas cosas que puedes ocupar igual el baño muy equipada con productos de cuidado personal por si olvidaste algo esta casa lo tiene. Es sorprendente como este alojamiento brinda cada detalle que puedas ocupar dentro y fuera del lugar. Muy limpio toallas y sábanas limpias. Definitivamente lo recomiendo y pienso volver me encantó

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Alexander and his wife's charming cottage, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we arrived, Alex and his wife were incredibly accommodating and helpful, ensuring we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage itself was cozy and well-maintained, offering everything we required for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was the breathtaking sunset views. Watching the sun dip below the horizon from the dock was simply mesmerizing. The location is also ideal—just a short 10-minute drive to downtown St. Michaels, where we enjoyed exploring the local shops and restaurants. The hosts truly go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome, and it shows in every aspect of their hospitality. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable retreat.

I was in town for work, and this place was perfect. It was walkable to several restaurants and to the calming water. Christopher was a wonderful host and very responsive. I'd definitely stay again if in town.

Pros: absolutely beautiful setting, great fire pit area, nice wood burning stove, plenty of wood, blankets provided for outdoor fire pit, the area is great! Went to Crow vineyard and winery it was absolutely amazing, The Kitchen for Sunday Brunch and The Granary for oysters. We actually did a Scavenger hunt on Lets Roam App that was lots of fun. The weather rained for 2 days but we we got 1 day by the fire pit which was awesome!!!! The only thing I would keep in mind is the steps to the water are very very steep. Might be hard for kids or out of shape 50 year old like me.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cabin. Doug had great recommendations for local restaurants, the waterfront property was gorgeous, and we felt very comfortable. The inside of the cabin is completely private, with excellent window coverings. The yard - by nature of how close the neighbors are - is not particularly private, but being on the water is definitely worth that. Definitely wish I had had a kayak! The kitchen is small - while this was fine for us, if someone loves cooking for a lot of people, they'll feel limited. But everything was clean and worked correctly. The bathroom was well-stocked - Doug has thought through everything. If we find ourselves back in the area, this is absolutely a place we'd stay again. Look no further - this is definitely the spot.
