This small cottage was everything we could have asked for, peaceful, beautiful surroundings and helpful, friendly hosts. The location is ideal most of Northland, including the Cape, East and West coasts. We would have no hesitation in going back when we next visit New Zealand, we left with still much to see and do. If you are staying over a weekend, the Kerikeri market on a Saturday morning is not to be missed.

We treasured our stay in this clean and comfortable bungalow. The open air feel of the home brought the beautiful South Pacific indoors. We chose to close windows and doors at night but learned to cool down the home by keeping all doors and windows open just until dark. The surrounding grounds were inviting and spacious… like a subtropical paradise. The steep windy road and narrow driveway to the home initially gave us pause, but after we did it once, we were totally comfortable with it. Tutukaka is a treasure. It’s beautiful and accessible, and the home is walking distance to the main harbor and surrounding stores. Vicky, our host, was wonderful about fielding all our questions promptly and even connected us with her daughter who owns a local organic farm and garden. We enjoyed fresh delicious produce during our stay.

One of our last places to stay during our trip in NZ and again we are lucky! The beautiful view, the hot tub, the tranquility, stargazing at the deck in stargazing-rocking chaires, the enormous pampering with fish by hosts Vanessa and Steve and their lovely assistant Sandi who was always up for a pet. A lovely house on a beautiful location with beautiful bays and beaches for swimming and snorkeling, where Steve and Vanessa even had snorkels and diving goggles to borrow. We enjoyed it here!

We had a wonderful stay! Easy check in and cottage was exactly as pictured. John was a wonderful host with suggestions to make our New Zealand holiday even better. Would highly recommend to others and would definitely stay here again.

Wicked location right on the beach, simple and cozy accommodation, nothing eles matters when you stay here. Pure relaxation and fun. Took kids and dog. We went swimming, fishing off the rocks and kayaking. Local shop only round the corner. We have already booked our next stay!

Lorna's bach is a true little gem in a hidden paradise, just a few minutes from the beach, quite spacious, modern apartment with own terrace. it's possible to use the SUP board and paddle over to the beautiful sandspit - a highlight in itself! Lorna is an amazing host, so kind, caring and helpful! Best accommodation i have stayed at in NZ. Highly recommended!

the place was amazing, when you opened the curtain the morning sun greeted you with an amazing view. simple yet wordless on the view from the home.

Loved the Airbnb. Perfect for a couple. The place was really clean and has some great touches like coffee sachets, lollies and bottled water. You can tell Kellie puts a lot of thought and effort into the place. Would definitely recommend!

Prue’s place had everything we needed. Great location! 10 minute walk to catch the barefoot catamaran sailboat to explore so we didn’t have to fight for a parking space! Lovely patio!

This was a lovely cottage. Very spacious (we liked the separate bedroom, bathroom and living room), comfortable and very well equipped. The location was in a very peaceful and private location and only a few minutes drive to a good selection of cafes and restaurants . Brett was a friendly and very helpful host We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Aroha’s cabin was super cozy and welcoming—felt like a home away from home. She was really clear with communication and super kind and understanding. You can tell she’s put a lot of thought into making sure guests have everything they need, from great cooking facilities to little extras like a universal charger. We had such an awesome stay! Opononi is one of the most beautiful towns we’ve ever been to—the views are unreal, the swimming is incredible, and the walks are absolutely amazing. Aroha had heaps of great recommendations for things to do, which made our trip even better. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

Very nice and comfortable studio. Only disappointments were weak wifi and the washing machine was not working.

This place was clean and cozy, very small and minimally outfitted for cooking, if you are going to do a lot of that. Bed was comfy and shower was good.

Marianne was a fabulous host. Nothing was any trouble. The Air B&B is very spacious. We had comfortable beds, there are 2 living areas a big deck and a lovely pool. We really enjoyed our stay here, coming back to a swim and a nice private outdoor setting to sit out on with our meals in the evening.

We are coming back! Two days was not long enough to experience this beautiful area. The accommodations were spotless, comfortable and welcoming. Rosemary has thought of everything. The beach is right in front of you. Fall asleep to the sound of waves gently rolling onto the beach. Step outside your door on a clear night and see stars spilling out of the sky. Truly magical. Wir haben den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen. Das Apartment ist sehr großzügig, es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht und man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause. Die Kirsche auf der Torte ist der riesengroße Garten und die Pools! Jo ist sehr freundlich, gibt gute Tipps und ist immer erreichbar falls etwas sein sollte. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben!

We loved this AirBnb set in a really pretty semi-rural part of Kerikeri. A really nice modern space with gorgeous views and a cool river at the bottom of the property which we wished we had time to explore further. Nice and close to Kerikeri town, but far enough away that you could enjoy no traffic noise and lots of stars.

Very peaceful accomodation. Private, surrounded by nature with beatiful views. Clean, fresh facilities. Very good commincation with host. Highly recommended stay! Close to Matapouri, Whale Bay, Whangarei, Tutukaka, Sandy Bay and so on 🙂

We had a great time staying in the Annex for a weekend. The place is tidy, well furnished and quiet. Eileen was incredibly helpful and nice with us. I will definitely try to come back next I go diving in the area.

This was our second stay. Our previous stay was about 3 months ago. Would definitely stay here again. Denise and Craig are wonderful friendly people and the home is quite comfortable, peaceful and quiet. My husband visited the sheep every morning and evening. We looked for the rabbits every time we drove the driveway and evening saw them in the backyard a few times.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit vier Wohnungen , neu und modern eingerichtet. Autostellplatz auf dem Grundstück und Gasgrill vorhanden. Direkt am breiten und langen Strand, mit direktem Zugang, gelegen. Atemberaubender Strandblick von der Terrasse und aus dem Hauptschlafzimmer der oberen Wohnung! Sehr schön für einen Strandurlaub! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Elaine is a wonderful host - and the property where the cottage is located is just gorgeous. It was so nice to be greeted warmly and kindly upon arrival, and upon checkout I had the most meaningful conversation I believe I have ever had with a host. Many breakfast items are provided, including coffee and tea. Very helpful for a shorter stay. Thank you!!! There is a friendly dog Pippa who loves cuddles, also a cat stopped by to say 'meow'. The bathroom comes with Venetian blinds - guests might wanna check if they are able to deal with them before the hosts retire for the night.
