Stunning location with a spectacular view. House was comfortable and coped very well with our group of 7, however the upstairs bedrooms need to be shared by a family as access to the bathroom was through the other bedroom. Road up to house very tricky and probably better attempted with a 4 wheel drive. We had a great week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We used the house as our base for our special wedding weekend, the house was amazing and the views were out of this world. stunning

We stayed at Anne’s lovely cottage for three nights and enjoyed every minute of it . The beds are super comfy so we slept like a dream. The location is beautiful. Nicely nestled into the hill over looking the bay and only a short stroll to the beach and a short drive to the other beautiful bays in the area. The cottage has an everything you need and is spotlessly clean. I haven’t relaxed so much in ages. I think the giant bed with the gorgeous view has a lot to do with it . Anne is super lovely too. Perfect for us in every way.

Kay's place was perfect for a couple of night's getaway. She was a very quick communicator and everything was as expected. She kindly left us freshly baked bread, as well as honey and apples from her property. The beds were very comfy and the whole place was well stocked and much more spacious than we expected. Kay's husband James sorted the pizza over for us and we cooked homemade pizzas. The property is private and secluded but just up a driveway from the road. Would highly recommend both the hosts and the property. Would happily stay again or suggest it to friends and family.

Blown away by location and beautifully presented home, complete with all the bells and whisltes. Loved that we had access to plenty of beach toys, games and books. Did not need a thing. Felt right at home after travelling 800kms. Perfect size for a big whanau who love the beach. The sunrises and sunsets are stunning.

Diese Wohnung lässt dich den Alltag vergessen und absolut entspannen. Ben und Tereza tun alles dafür,dass der Urlaub unvergesslich wird. Vom Willkommensbrief über Milch und Wein bis zu den Blumen- einfach alles perfekt. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt! Das Kayak und all die Spiele für drinnen und draußen haben unserer Familie Spaß bereitet. Danke ihr beiden,dass wir eure Gäste sein durften.

We had a wonderful stay, the outlook from the bach is so peaceful. All of our family including the grand kids completely relaxed. We loved our visit and look forward to returning. Thanks for having us and our dog

The Tapeka Bach was just perfect for a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Auckland. It’s right on the bay. We loved watching the boats come and go. So beautiful. Would absolutely recommend to friends and family.

The bach was lovely, real kiwi bach also Toni was amazing to deal with and left clear instructions on how to get to the bach as well as checking ourselves in Had everything you possibly would need for a trip away I absolutely loved the place and such an awesome area! The beach would be perfect for kids or swimmers who aren't to confident as the waves aren't strong at all but also have the option of a short walk to the end of the beach to a big shallow area with very little to no waves I really recommend this little bach, I fell in love and definitely would stay again!!

Amazing little kiwi back in a private Rocky bay. Awesome for quality family time or a group of friends. Will definitely be staying here again!

Hidden gem My partner and I had an AMAZING stay at the sea bach , first thing you notice is how homely it feels and how clean it is It has ALL the amenities we needed for our weekend getaway such as cooking essentials, bbq , air fryer , oven , stove , washing machine smart tv etc and ofc a coffee machine ♥️🫰🏾 She has set the house up perfectly even giving us additional treats and a pre stocked fridge which we really appreciated seeing as there aren’t many local shops near by Best part about it is knowing the beach is right by your door step with awesome kayaks to use x Us being auckland city folks it was really awesome to see the stars and constellations so clearly for the 1st time So glad we could bring our Fur baby tiva with us which is everything us dog parents could ever ask for WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANY TO STAY HERE x

Linda’s place is beautifully organised and very clean. Lovely starry nights there. I didn’t explore the surrounds as I was too busy helping set up for my sons wedding, etc. next time I’m in Rangitane I’ll visit her studio 🩵

We enjoyed the surroundings, reading on the patio, all the shell paths, the use of space in the cottage and the charming decorating. We appreciated the illustrated booklet and descriptive writing about the property and community. We enjoyed the fresh fruit, fresh garden and woodland flowers brought inside and the lighting. It was a place to refresh

Olivia’s place was so beautiful and provided a peaceful retreat. Such a stunning view that’s a little different each day. Being at a dark sky reserve also gave us such a rich view of the night sky and the stars! Thank you Olivia, I’ll be back again for sure!!

Wir haben unsere Zeit in dem Haus geliebt. Die Lage ist fantastisch und der Strand ist ein wahrer Traum. Die Unterkunft hat alles was man benötigt. Die Nachbarn sind sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich willkommen. Wir können den Aufenthalt nur empfehlen.

We loved Nuku Cabin, Diane and Anthony were lovely and friendly and I think My hubby could have chatted to Anthony all day. They seemed to have thought of everything and it was very well organised and easy to find what you needed. The cabin was exactly as described and there was plenty of space for us to spread out and relax. The weather was extremely wet so it was great to have so much space. We thought we might have been able to hear the highway more but once the door was shut we couldn’t hear anything. We can thoroughly recommend Nuku Cabin.

We loved our stay. The area is truly magical and Clive’s place was perfect for what we needed - and super clean. We even took our pup out on the kayak

What an amazing little cottage on the water to relax and enjoy New Zealand's beauty! Perfect little spot to catch up with nature and see so many species of birds all around. The cottage even had fresh picked flowers when we arrived to make it even more magical. We can not wait to return to the cottage on our next trip back to New Zealand. The host Anna was wonderful and very responsive our entire stay! She helped us out and checked in on us during our stay to see if we needed anything. Thank you so much Anna, you were amazing.

John was exceedingly friendly and quick to respond to us throughout the process. We were two Americans traveling by the seat of our pants, and even though this was probably the fourth Airbnb we contacted in our search of the area, we could not have chosen a better place to spend our time in the Bay of Islands. Location was fabulous both for the location and view, as well as for the simple amenities provided. Thanks so much!

Sean and Becs are outstanding hosts, and the cabin (particularly it's location) exceeded our expectations. We are walking Te Araroa and stopped here for a rest day- so had no vehicle. Sean was more than happy to take us to the shops (5km away) when they were heading that way and dropped us back to the trail when we left. They offered us veges from the garden, helpful advice and were all 'round great hosts and really nice people. The location is amazing and not mentioned much in the listing- the cabin looks out over a grapevines and a sloping lawn to the harbour. It's peaceful and relaxing, and the shower (in a small separate cabin ) is excellent. We didn't use the sauna but it is located right on the waters edge. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend this little cabin for it's tranquility. The view is amazing and the space is really well thought. You'll feel very comfortable and out of the real world ! Lovely hosts and surrounding area.

We had a great stay and found the cabin a very relaxing space. It was clean, tidy and the surrounding garden was peaceful. It was also in an excellent location near the beach.
