Situated off the beaten path, with a quick drive into Kerrville - which has everything you need. Our stay was very pleasant and peaceful. The cottage is bright and clean, it’s not luxurious but has everything you need. We stayed 4 days and enjoyed the wildlife - lots of deer, foxes and other animals - the peaceful atmosphere and the sunsets were spectacular over the gorge. The hot tub was wonderful in the evenings too - also clean and maintained. We used the BBQ grill a couple times and it was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the towels were good. Drove into Fredericksburg and that was a great place to visit too. Lots of wineries in the area - nice to visit. Would highly recommend this space - cottage #2 for a couple looking to get away for a a weekend. Again not “luxurious” but clean and quaint in its own way. Would stay here again.

We visited for the weekend and were pleasantly surprised by everything! The view was great, airbnb had anything we could need, and we weren’t too far from local attractions. I would definitely visit again

Great quiet getaway! Less than 15 minutes away from downtown Fredericksburg. The evenings were quiet and enjoyed the hot tub. In the mornings, deer feed is dropped in the driveway street so able to enjoy the morning visitors while drinking coffee on the covered patio in rocking chairs. Definitely recommend booking this gem!

This cabin was the perfect getaway for my fiancé and I. It was clean and cozy. The cabin had blankets, plenty of towels and washcloths, and smelled wonderful. We cooked dinner on their grill and enjoyed a night in their hot tub. We experienced no issues or hiccups, truly just a relaxing experience. 10/10 would recommend staying here.

Pablo was very helpful with detailed recommendations in the area and great instructions for getting into the house. You can tell that great attention to detail went in to planning what items would be in the hole to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Chad and Kitty were amazing hosts. We just moved to the area and stayed the summer in this house. They helped us find everything we needed in the area and more. The surroundings are beautiful and the home is so welcoming. She’s thought of everything. It’s a little slice of paradise here.

Jeanette was a great-host. She was very responsive and even provided the current river water levels. The house is amazing and spotless! We enjoyed our stay, the private river access was amazing to be able to get down there with the family and not be bothered by anybody was so peaceful! Can’t wait to be back again! Jeanette even had a great list of recommendations for things to do while in town, that was very sweet of her.

We spent the month of January at the Pickled Pepper Cottage. The location was convenient to downtown Kerrville in a quiet neighborhood. There was a little early morning and afternoon school traffic but otherwise it was quiet. The only downside to our stay was the weather. Mother Nature treated us to snow which I'm led to believe only happens about every four years or so, but otherwise it was all good. Niki and David were great hosts, very responsive and informative.

This was a great cabin! We really enjoyed staying outside of the city limits with all of the free range animals. Something to note, this cabin does not have a dishwasher. It wasn’t a big deal to us because they had a drying rack so I just washed by hand, and we didn’t eat too much in the cabin. Really appreciated the soaps in the bathroom! We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hill country retreat!! The cottage was beautifully decorated and very comfortable, the beds were some of the best. Peaceful surrounding, with amazing sunset views and river access. Enjoyed watching the deer graze in the spacious backyard. Perfect quaint location, and close to other Hill Country destinations like Bandera and Fredericksburg.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The unit was as described. I didn’t realize when booking that it is a duplex. That information is written in the description but I missed it. This would be perfect for a family where the parents could stay in one room and the kids in the other. It is easy access to the rooms through the patio which has a sliding divider door. The only problem I had was the air freshener. I’m very sensitive to fragrance so I had to move the air freshener outside. So if you have allergies be sure and ask for it to be removed before you arrive. Other than that it was perfect. The beds were comfortable, there is a microwave,refrigerator, and coffee maker. There are picnic tables and bbq grills for quest use. The walking trail along the river is beautiful and runs six miles. There are lots of activities and Fredericksburg is only 30 minutes away. Our host Zee was very attentive and easily contacted. I would definitely recommend this cute cottage and plan on returning.

Here is the deal we all know when looking..... I want to walk in and say I made the right choice.... Period!!!!! At this place you can! I would have loved a working TV in the master bedroom. But that's just me...I don't sleep... It was probably something I couldn't figure out on my own but anyway, pretty cool place!!!!

Jean was a very helpful host was there when I needed her and was such a friendly person to rent from ! It was my first time renting an Airbnb and she has definitely set the bar, I hope to visit her place soon it was a very enjoyable experience.

Very nice place to stay. The bed was very comfortable. We did get to fish in the creek out back and the wife and I did catch some fish. We did get to build a fire in the fire pit one evening and it was relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay! It’s such a cute, well decorated, and very clean little house! The beautiful outdoors and deer were a huge bonus!
