We had a lovely stay at Sanctuary House with our 7 year old son and 80 year old mum. The house has everything you need and more. The pool deck and braai area is great and it was also great to have a fire pit outside and fire place inside too. The weather was a bit changeable during our stay so these were well used. The house is in a good location with shops nearby and easy to reach other areas in Plet. Communication with Richard during our stay was excellent. I would highly recommend this holiday house.

Maria made us feel right at home. The place is incredible, and the furniture is equally impressive. We mostly followed the recommendations they gave us. The house is situated in a very safe area, just a 5-minute walk from a restaurant and a coffee shop. The beach is just a 10-minute walk away. It’s the perfect place to stay with a baby. We used the barbecue and beach chairs. Knysna is an ideal break on the Garden Route. We would have stayed longer if we could have!

Wir hatten leider nur einen 3-tägigen Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft! So ein behaglich und cosy eingerichtetes Haus sieht man selten! Der Ausblick auf das Meer und den Robberg war unglaublich schön! Wir sind dankbar, dass wir das Grace Cottage für uns entdeckt haben und kommen gerne wieder!

A beyond five star stay! The stay was the most comfortable I have ever had with my elderly mom who has special needs for her mobility. Owen and his support are incredible and helpful. We literally never needed for a single thing. It is comfortable, clean, well located, all the possible utilities you might need. If you are going to Knysna, you have found your dream accommodation right here!

Watching the tide come in….watching it go out….so relaxing. Super weekend with baby, kids, grandparents and dog. Playing in the lagoon all day and enjoying the quiet splashes of the fish in the evenings. Thanks again Charles and Ryk

Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt, man spürt, dass dieser Ort geliebt wird. Wunderschön dekoriert und für große Familien/Freunde geeignet. 4x Braai- Optionen!🤣 Danke, dass wir hier sein durften. Vielleicht ein Hinweis für mobilitätseingeschränkte Personen oder Sportwagenfahrer: die Auffahrt/ Eingang ist ziemlich steil und hat keine Treppe.

The venue is beautiful designed so much space with different areas yet not huge. Host was always helpful and responded quickly. We loved the house it was a home

What a beautiful place. Gorgeous courtyard and fantastic roof terrace. Peacefull and quiet road 1 minute walk from the lagoon. 15 minute walk to Wild Oats market. Lovely and cosy inside. Would definitely return.

Perfekte Lage, nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand, zur Lagune und in die Innenstadt mit Restaurants und Geschäften. Die Kommunikation war freundlich und schnell. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sogar mit Sandspielzeug und Sonnenschirm für den Strand. Die Wohnung und das Bad könnte ein paar kleinere Renovierungen benötigen aber insgesamt nichts was uns sehr gestört hat.

We had a wonderful stay in this little studio up on the hill. The view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking. The apartment had everything we needed, and Ronel was incredibly helpful, even providing extra items when we needed something for cooking. You can fall asleep to the sound of the ocean, with direct access to the beach via a path from the house. Walking along the left side of the beach at sunrise was stunning. Thanks again! 🥰

We had a fantastic time and enjoyed our stay. Very clean and well organised flat with everything you need. The beds are comfortable. Great view over the lagoon!

Super mooie Airbnb midden in het groen. Het uitzicht is echt prachtig. Toen we vroegen of we onze spullen mochten opslaan omdat we na het uitchecken nog een hike wouden maken, was dit geen enkel probleem. Inchecken ging super soepel, het appartement was schoon en het bed lag echt heerlijk! Al met al een aanrader dus :)

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit bei Henk. Ab dem Zeitpunkt als wir ankamen fühlten wir uns wie zuhause. Henk hatte es möglich gemacht dass wir spontan einchecken konnten und hat uns sogar mit einem Gastgeber Geschenk überrascht. Das Appartement hat alles was man sich wünschen kann und ist geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet. Henk gab uns zahlreiche Empfehlungen gegeben. Dadurch wussten wir gleich was wir machen können und wo wir die besten Restaurants finden. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit, würden jederzeit wiederkommen und hätten unseren Aufenthalt am liebsten verlängert.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich wunderschön. Man schaut direkt aufs Meer und kann den großen Balkon zur Wohnung hin fast komplett öffnen. Hübsch eingerichtet. Nur wenige Meter zu Fuß zum Strand oder in die andere Richtung in die Stadt. Auch die Kommunikation lief super nett und unkompliziert. Unbedingt zu empfehlen!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Erica’s flat in Plett. The flat is well located in a safe and well maintained complex near Plett’s best beaches and convenient shops. It was comfortable and spacious and we particularly enjoyed the outside dining space. Plett is a wonderful place to visit with lots of outdoor activities and great restaurants and shops. We will be back! Thank you for a fantastic holiday.

Mooi, ruim en gezellig huisje. Met een echte keuken waar je goed kan koken en een heel lekker bed. Daarbovenop is het water uit de kraan heerlijk en is de omgeving mooi en privé. Ook heel leuk voor mensen zonder honden en een hele fijne plek om tot rust te komen! Het voelt erg huiselijk aan en ik zou het iedereen aanraden.

What an amazing place! We just wish we had somewhere similar in the UK. The cabin was perfect for our family of four - beautifully designed with everything we could need for our short stay. The Farm, where the cabin is located is such a special place. Loads for the children to do - playground, bunnies, bikes etc - and a wonderful cafe that serves delicious food. Leo and Sheila were delightful and couldn’t have been more helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer!

HIDDEN GEM!! Immaculately maintained place. It's so quiet and private, in a beautiful garden. I enjoyed the chic living experience in this "tiny house". Lots of outdoor space too.

I highly recommend a stay at the Forest Heart Cabin. You feel secluded and lost in the Forest scenery but you’re still an easy distance away from all the highlights of Knysna. The cost cabin itself is extremely well kept. The hosts have put extra love and care into all of the elements of the cabin. The star of the show is the double layered deck with an incredible view and bath tub - the photos don’t lie, it’s a dream! ❤️

The place was lovely, the surroundings of the mountains, sunrise and moonrise was amazing. Peaceful getaway in the mountains. We will definitely go again

Davide was incredibly communicative throughout our stay. He arranged for Warren (super friendly) to meet us at the gate and guide us up to the house. From the second we stepped inside, we felt the bliss. The place is magical and meticulously maintained. Everything we could ever need was there; it was clear the thought that had gone into the place. Chopped firewood for the BBQ, lovely bars of soap for the shower, spices in the cupboard, and coffee on the counter. Waking up in the main room with a view over the ocean and mountains was special. Morning tea in the sunlight on the wooden deck was a treat. We loved the BBQ spot down the hill at Ballots Bay...treasured memories were created there for my son and I. We will definitely be back to bask in this tranquility. Thanks!

My friends and I had a great stay. Charlotte was friendly and helpful with dining reservations. The location was beautifully located, felt like I was in a nature reserve.
