We stayed for a ski/birthday weekend and it was perfect. Sherry was great offering suggestions on dining and weekend happenings. Watching the deer in the morning was a highlight. The nearby cottages were close but still felt secluded. We hope to return!

We stayed for a weekend ski trip to Mt Bohemia. It was a short (40 minute drive) which was perfect for decompressing after a long day on the hill. We loved the beautiful views of Lake Superior! The cottage was the perfect size for the two of us with all the kitchen amenities we needed to cook all our meals. It was warm, cozy, and very relaxing. Thank for a great stay!

Jennifer was an amazing host! We had to leave early due to a winter storm as we weren't prepared for heavy snowfall with our small vehicle. She was very kind and gave us options for a solution. The beautiful views and decor were like something out of a movie. I immediately felt at home and plan to come back when it's warmer!

Really enjoyed staying at Janine's place. Cozy cabin that slept 3 single guys comfortably. Great views of Lac La Belle. Extremely close to Mt Bohemia where we went for skiing and the spa. Great experience all around!

It’s all about the view at this home! Everything is as described with an added bonus that the lake is even closer than it appears in the pictures. Close enough to be in Houghton in minutes via a beautiful drive but far enough away to be secluded and peaceful. Plenty of space for our small family, but if you max out with 8 people it may be tight as the bathrooms are a bit smaller.

What a wonderful place to get away and recharge! We have 3 kids and manage a business in Traverse City. That said we are always on the go. Staying at Little Betsy really help my partner and I focus on eachother and reconnect! Even though the weather wasn’t the greatest, we had moments or clear skies and got to really enjoy the view from the cabin. We hiked Hungarian Falls which is only 30 minutes away and ate at Loading Zone ||. Food was wonderful and so where the people! 110% recommend! We are excited to make future plans to come back! Wow. What an unbelievable stay. This was beyond my already high expectations. I knew from the listing that this place would be lovely, but it was so much more. The peace and tranquility is incredible. I went in winter and it was still stunning. From the houses large windows I had a view of the forest and the lake, and I spent a good deal of time looking through the telescope at the lake and the birds (sunrise and sunset are spectacular), and at night I lit a fire in the wood burning stove and gazed at the stars. The house is beautiful and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Decorated with the gorgeous rocks of the beach. Do NOT skip the sauna! I found it easy to build a fire and heat it up — Joni has plenty of kindling and wood. And I spent a good deal of time down there. Joni herself was a perfect host. She was so helpful and super responsive. I left this stay feeling like a new person. I will absolutely be back. Thank you so much for sharing this special place Joni!!!
