Great location and felt private. Our kids loved the path out the back gate to the playground. 20 min walk to great coffee and bagels. Had most cooking tools you might need. Amazing soaker tub in primary suite, and beautiful hot tub in backyard. Will definitely be staying here again.

Believe everything you read about this "Little Cottage by the Sea." It was perfect in every way and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! And Michael was the ideal host!

We had a wonderful stay at Trish’s cottage in Hanahan, SC! The area is perfect for families, with plenty of dining and grocery options nearby. Trish was a fantastic host—always available and quick to respond to any needs. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the Charleston area. Thanks again, Trish!

Steffi’s place was perfect for our family of 5! Had everything we could need and plenty of room to stretch out after a long day of sight seeing in downtown (which is only minutes away!) Loved the neighborhood - quiet and beautiful! We saw dolphins on the Wappoo just down the street many times! We will definitely be back!

Stayed four nights late March. This little cottage is secluded and felt very private. While small (bedroom, bathroom, and living room kitchen combo), it was comfy for two adults and two kids. Everything was very clean. The adjoining lot with fire pit looked awesome but we did not use. Great space though. We knew the cottage was not close to the beach, but is about a five minute drive which was great. No complaints. The trees on the property are really awesome. Would book again.

We loved our stay at the Lil Pearl. It was close enough to walk to Center St but also far enough away that it was peaceful and quiet. This perfect little cottage isn’t far from a public beach access as well. We would definitely stay here again.

This stay exceeded our expectations! We needed somewhere close-by the hospital downtown, but also wasn’t in the city. This was heaven on earth - horses, bass fishing, our pups enjoyed the fenced yard and the peace that surrounded this place was amazing. Denise and Tanya couldn’t have been more pleasant and accommodating hosts. We’re definitely planning to come back!

Our stay at Alyssa and Justin’s cottage was great. The house is exactly as shown and as others have mentioned, it was fully stocked with so many amenities and great for cooking. Our plans changed to include an extra dog and then use of the state park pass and they were very responsive and to these requests within the hour. The sheets were clean and soft and the house is very close to the harbor and Main Street of historic Beaufort. Our group of four adults and 2 dogs had a great stay!

We loved staying at the Shanty. It was perfect for out-of-towners attending a wedding. We had room for 4 people, plus space for gathering a few relatives so we could all ride together. Our dog loved having his own yard space, with the fence making it completely safe for him. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well equipped and we appreciated the decor and friendly touches, such as beach towels!

We had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and in a quiet neighborhood outside of Charleston. My girlfriend, our dog, and I stayed for a week, and it had everything we needed. Getting to downtown Charleston was really easy—it was a short and easy drive. Leslie was helpful and responsive to all of our questions, which we appreciated. Overall, it was a solid place to stay if you’re looking for something comfortable and pet-friendly near Charleston.

Laurel cottage was a beautiful gem of a home, we felt right at home. The house was spotless when we arrived with everything we could need and so much more! It was truly a delightful experience and so close to everything we wanted to do while being a cozy hide away to be able to sit on the porch and read a book with plenty of privacy. Thank you so much Laurel for opening your home to us on your honeymoon and being responsive and making sure everything we needed was available!

Kim was a phenomenal host! Her charming cottage was the perfect getaway and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate my birthday. Every detail made the stay memorable and I truly appreciated the warm and welcoming atmosphere!

Everything was exactly described, as the reviews said the shower is small but the place was perfect for a family with 2 small kids. Having the detachable shower head helped with their age. The beach access was better than Florida beaches and we saw the sunrise on the beach several times. The kitchen was well stocked. Back yard was good for the dogs. My allergies did flare up but I’m highly allergic to animals so I expect it with dog friendly places (mine are hypoallergenic). Would stay there again.

Our stay was made exceptional because of the location with respect to downtown Beaufort. The accommodation was exquisitely decorated and very pristine! We throughly enjoyed our visit to Beaufort! And will certainly consider Mermaid Cottages when visit Beaufort

Jimmy and Melanie's is the perfect spot to relax! The peacefulness of sitting out on the porch, the amazing access to trails right from the property, and giving the cats scratches were just a few highlights of our visit. The place had everything we needed and was even better in person! It's perfectly located to be somewhere you can spend time exploring the property or in easy striking distance to so much more. We'll be back!

Loved our stay at Katie’s place and would definitely book again. Location was walkable to downtown and Spanish Moss trail. We enjoyed the peaceful backyard and comfortable outdoor seating. Inside was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Great host too!
