Excellent location! Beautiful grounds with a lovely pool and bbq area! A great place to view the spectacular sunsets! The unit is comfortable and the views do not disappoint! The bed is comfy, and there were plenty of bath towels. The beach around the corner is the perfect place to start your day with a long leisurely walk!

We arrived late, after midnight but were able to easily into our room without any issues. I normally don’t sleep well the first night anywhere, but the beds were very comfortable and it was quiet

Great stay for a week of R&R in Kihei in March 2025. Good location in North Kihei with a west view of the water. Good value for the price. Not many walkable restaurants nearby but only a 5-10 minute drive into Kihei for a bigger selection of restaurants. Was a great home-base for our visit. Would recommend to others looking for a non-resort style vacation in Maui! Worked really well.

Lovely space to make a home base while seeing the islands. Conveniently located next to the beach and a bunch of bars and restaurants.

Everything was as described and pictured. Elizabeth was responsive and helpful with any questions. The location in the complex was nice. Just far enough from the road and the pool, but not all the way in the back either. Juuuust right :) This unit was on the end, there were extra windows and it was nice and breezy with the louvers open. Lanai looks out onto treed lot next door which was nice and private. Parking was always available close to our door. Quiet hours seemed to be well observed, so it wasn't noisy at night. Not too many kids around as I think they're all 1-bed units. The shared laundry was close (by the pool) and never too busy. A great, walkable area. Coffee and food and other shops on both sides of the complex, a grocery a couple of blocks away, and of course the beach right across the street. Appreciated the A/C in the bedroom, and the 6-hour timer was NOT an issue as we started it right before bed and were always still comfy when we woke up. (A/C in living also)

We really enjoyed the lanai. We could enjoy the sunset and sunrise while sitting outside on the lanai. Beautiful grounds with barbecues available for use. Restaurants were within a 10 minute walk. We especially liked Nula's and Coconuts. The only negative is that the beach is not good for boogie boarding: rough terrain under water. No one was in the ocean; we discovered why when I tried boogie boarding: very little wave and chunks of coral underfoot. Nevertheless it was beautiful indeed.

Perfect little condo for our family of 4. Nice welcoming gifts of chocolates, coffee and pineapple. Only 1 block from the beach, view of the ocean from your bedroom lanai, a gorgeous private pool that we basically had all to ourselves. King bed was very comfortable. Pull out sofa was comfortable for my son and had extra pillows and blankets. Kitchen was equipped with everything you needed (maybe a few more spoons would be nice). Beach chairs and cooler provided was very nice to have. Someone had left a boogie board behind which was perfect for our kids to use. Washer and dryer available. The only thing I would suggest is to remove the old carpet on the stairs and bedroom. Location was nice. Very close to the airport. About 5-10 mins from main beachy area of Kihei. About 30 minutes to get to Lahaina and Napili area. We even did the Road to Hana and around the bottom of the island in one day. Would definitely book this condo again. Toni was excellent with communications.

Our stay was everything we could have asked for and more. Top notch communication, comfortable interior, full kitchen, across the street from the beach. This beach has sea turtles you can go look at (stay 20 feet away), a sand bar behind some rocks that prevent the waves from crashing in and to the right of the whale sanctuary that side of the beach has some gorgeous sea shells. My group and I spent most of our time at this beach. The pool and hot tub were a nice bonus at the end of our days. Would definitely stay again and recommend to our friends

Great location. Stunning views from the balcony. Leslie was very flexible that let us check-in earlier due to our earlier flight arrival.

Super central spot in Maui to hang out and get to and from other areas on the island! There’s a pool, tennis courts, and a parking lot - quick drive to the airport, and no more than 30-40 minutes from the furthest spots that we wanted to check out to unwind for the rest of our Maui journey after Haleakala. Ample room in the living room, kitchen, and bedroom, and a great WiFi! There’s a basket of tennis balls and rackets, snorkel fins, masks, and even anti-fog. (Loved Ahihi-Kinau Nature Preserve!) Beach towels came in handy to stay dry afterwards too :) truly had everything we needed for a fun, relaxing stay! Make sure to keep tidy and listen to our hosts and don’t let any plates stay overnight as we spotted a couple of ants on a plate we left out by accident 😭 we were warned and it was true, after that we had no issues as we were careful in wiping down surfaces and washing our dishes right away. The only thing I would say is that the unit I stayed in the lanai was quite small and facing the parking garage. It might not matter to some but to me I might have chosen another unit

This is a great unit - easy parking, easy access, beautiful space, great location for everything around the island - overall just stellar. It was a great home base while exploring the island everyday - we felt very comfortable

We have stayed at Grand Champions several times and love it there. From the balcony, love watching morning golfers coming up the 2nd hole and beautiful sunsets; nice pool. This unit was great for two couples, each bedroom having a private bath. Carpeting and living room furniture were new and comfortable. Kitchen island bar stools were uncomfortable which made us miss having a good place to eat inside, not having a dining room table. Kitchen lacked enough utensils (for example, only two teaspoons), glassware and cups. Expect more than colored plastic glasses in a quality place. Went out and purchased decent mugs and glasses to use. Condo photo showed tea kettle which was not there. Two of the four balcony stools in poor condition and should be replaced. Aside from these few things which could be easily fixed by owner, the condo was great. Anke was fantastic. Mahola!

This was a great condo to stay at for our first trip to Maui. Very quiet. Very clean. Both my husband and I remarked on how comfortable the bed is. If you want to explore the island by car you are perfectly situated. But you also have a very low key beach right in front. We walked the beach for an hour and watched the sunrise every morning. Absolutely perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Diane's. Great location, walking distance to the beach. Really enjoyed being able to relax and enjoy the evenings at the pool. Great place and would go back again.

This place was absolutely perfect for a weeklong vacation! Enough space to be comfortable when we were relaxing after a day on the beach or hiking. It was also such a bonus to have beach chairs, snorkel gear, and more to use so we didn’t have to rent. The AC was also fantastic and not loud at all. Would definitely stay here again!

The unit was in a quiet section of Kihei across from the beach. It worked well for us as a couple, room to relax on the couch and on the porch. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was nice to have the laundry available. I would recommend this place for a stay in southern Maui away from the hustle of the busier beaches.

The condo has a beautiful view, and is unusually well equipped, ranging from pots and utensils to beach equipment. Plus, it has a small but very nice gym. The condo served as an excellent base for our outings on Maui.

We booked Loren's place back in June for our December trip and I believe it was a brand new listing, so we were hoping that the pictures and description matched...and I can tell you the pics don't do it justice. We stayed Dec 25-31, just my wife and me. We typically have stayed in Kaanapali Shores in the past, so this was our first time at Sugar Beach Resort. I think we found our new favorite place to stay. Our first morning we saw several pods of whales putting on a show...all from the comfort of our balcony. The unit itself is perfect for two people and had everything we needed with a well appointed kitchen. Dina's Sand Witch shop was also great and is a local hangout...so you know it is good. Overall, a great trip. And the secret is out about this unit, as the rates increased since our booking...but I think it was somewhat under priced when we originally booked it.

The condo was in a nice area, fairly central to everything with a bakery, farmers market, and small store within walking distance. The view is beach front, 5 stories up, and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching for whales, rowers, and beach activity. We used the grill area, which was kept very clean, by the pool and hot tub on the condo grounds. The kitchen seemed to have all the amenities we needed to prepare a few small meals. We had a great stay in Maui!

Great place to stay! AC worked great, bed was comfortable, and would definitely stay here again. It was super clean inside. Two Tommy Bahama beach chairs and a cooler in the closet if you need to use those. If you want to stay down by Kihei in a nice place this is the one!

This condo was everything we could have hoped for and more! Super clean, peaceful, and beautifully remodeled, with stunning high ceilings and a cool spiral staircase. The powerful AC kept us comfortable on hot nights, and easy parking made everything stress-free. The community amenities were fantastic—a big pool, hot tub, BBQ area, and even whale talks on Friday mornings! Speaking of whales, we went on a whale-watching kayak tour with a naturalist and got incredibly lucky, spotting multiple whales up close. Truly an unforgettable experience! The location was perfect, close to great restaurants, beaches, and the South Maui Gardens, which we loved exploring. The check-in staff was welcoming, and best of all, our hosts were amazing, even accommodating a later checkout. This was one of our best trips ever, and we’ve already recommended this place to our parents. If you’re heading to Maui, stay here—you won’t regret it! We’ll definitely be back!

I loved Justin’s place. Super close to great local eateries– as in within walking distance! It’s so close to Kamaole Beach (easily one of my favorite beaches in Maui). Also got myself locked out of the place, but Darrel was there within less than 10 minutes and got us back in. Overall great experience. I would book again!
