Die Unterkunft lag weit über unseren Erwartungen. Für den günstigen Preis kann man keinen Meerblick erwarten. Es gab aber einen hilfreichen Willkommensgruß am Kühlschrank hier waren neben Lucy´s auch Kontakte zu Taxi und Tuxtukfahrern, die einen für kleines Geld z.B. nach Shanzu beach ans Meer oder zum Einkauscentrum nach Mtwapa bringen (Tuktuk ca. 300 oder Taxi ca. 500 KES). Für kleine Einkäufe zufuß gibt´s Kioske in Reichweite. Der sehr gepflegte Aussenbereich bittet einen gemütlichen Poolbereich und ist genug zum Relaxen vor Ort. Zu bemängeln: die etwas in die Jahre gekommenen, aber vollkommen benutzbaren, Liegen am Pool und das Fehlen einer großen Pfanne in der man auch für die, möglichen sechs Personen, die Frühstückseier auf einmal braten kann :-) Fazit ein schöner und erholsamer Ort um mit seiner Familie Urlaub zu geniesen. Reuben's place was great and he was very responsive to all our asks. His description of amenities and location were also accurate and they met our expectations too. I would recommend the host and I would definitely stay there in future.

The apartment is located in a serene environment devoid of noise or other disturbances. It is also strategically located with access to local transport amenities (tuktuk, cab, matatu), and is close to the beach. I loved the decor in the house, and the host offers a quick response for any queries you might have...Thanks Leyla and I look forward to visiting again in the coming months!

Rita was an absolutely wonderful host. She allowed us to check in earlier since we were travelling from far. In fact , she was awake when we arrived early in the morning to usher us in. The house was clean, spacious and super beautiful. The surrounding were green and well maintained. The staff at the house were really helpful and the place felt very secure. We enjoyed our stay at this house. We enjoyed the food that was prepared for us by the host and the chill and relaxing atmosphere created for the guest. I would highly recommend this place and I will be back again soon. Thank you for making our stay in Watamu memorable.

I had a great stay at this Villa. The place was quiet, peaceful, and felt very secure. All the amenities were in good working condition, except for the Wi-Fi, which had been changed but wasn’t updated—so that was a slight inconvenience. The host was quite flexible, making check-in and check-out smooth, which I really appreciated. The only challenge I faced was locating the villa, as there was no clear roadside landmark or crest to indicate the entry point. A visible sign or logo would make it much easier for first-time visitors. Overall, it was a fantastic experience—definitely a 10/10 stay. Would highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Sandras place, she is an amazing host and very easy to get along with. The apartment is spacious, hotel standards clean and very welcoming. It felt like home away from home and If my plans allowed, I would really have been happy, comfortable and satisfied to stay longer at Sandras apartment. The location is perfect, it is quiet and the balcony brings in some ocean breeze. It is located centrally to all amenities e.g supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants e.t.c. All basic things were provided and you have alot of privacy for yourself too. I know I have a second home at Sandras place whenever I visit Mombasa again and would recommend anyone to stay at Sandras. Thanks Sandra for the experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bamburi Mtambo the place was clean and it was what the picture showed. Stephanie was quick to answer on our querries. We highly recomend it to someone else who wishes to stay there.

Brigid has a very clean well furnished apartment that's in a serene well guarded location The swimming pool is clean and there is ample parking. She is an awesome host who is available incase of anything.

Peaceful location not far from the beach if your fit or get a boda boda.Close to Mtwepa by Matatu (50 shillings)

The first thing that strikes you about the place is the amazing view of the sea... absolutely gorgeous! Couldn't get enough of the view really 😍. Then the house is so spacious and airy, with loads of light from the large windows. Thomas completes the equation, he is so friendly, helpful, calls when he wants to inform you of something, and was absolutely flexible both for check-in and check-out. I would recommend Thomas's place anytime to anyone... and I will definitely be back.

Für uns war es das perfekte Apartment. Es hat einfach alles gestimmt. Die Einrichtung ist wirklich schön und man fühlt sich gleich wohl. Hamisa, die gute Perle macht es einem sehr bequem und leicht. Und die Lage direkt am Strand ist einfach perfekt. Und Susan sls Vermieterin war immer erreichbar und hat uns jede Hilfe zukommen lassen. Wenn kommen wieder.

Place is nice and clean i really enjoy staying there, the check in process was very efficient. Host is very very responsive and always available to provide any assistance. I will stay here again.

We stayed at Joseph’s place.The Apartmen was spotless the cleaner was very nice and helpful to my family.and had the best especially imaginable.The apartment is located 3mnts from the beach.the wifi speed was 100 mbps my husband was able to work online easily.All 3 bedrooms were ensuites and 2 had balcony with beautiful views.The place is close to everything you need.we loved this place!!such an amazing time.we be back for sure!we highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Mombasa looking for a confortable stay.

Our family's stay at Woburn Residence in December 2018 was amazing! We loved the house and the outdoor garden and pool. Despite being in a shared compound, the house offers adequate privacy without feeling isolated. Prior to our stay, James was available to answer all our questions and offer helpful suggestions and contacts such as a local chef and taxi drivers. During our stay, we had a couple of minor issues that he helped sort out in no time. Susan the housekeeper was friendly and very helpful during our stay. It was a convenient location to explore Malindi, Gedi and Watamu. We would be happy to return to Woburn and highly recommend James's place!
