habe 14 Tage hier verbracht und mich sehr wohl gefühlt. täglich mit dem Motorrad taxi zum Strand ( 4,50 Euro hin und zurück) immer mit dem gleichen Fahrer, hatte mir seine Telefonnummer gegeben. Viele verschiedene Möglichkeiten die afrikanische Küche kennen zu lernen in der Nähe. Supermarkt zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet um seine Speisen zu bereiten. David ist immer gut zu erreichen. Das war sehr von Vorteil wenn man Hilfe oder Fragen hat. habe mich überall sicher gefühlt, der Verkehr ist allerdings gewöhnungsbedürftig.

I stayed at Lydia's place for 5 days with my family.Lydia's place exceeded my expectations! the welcome was good, she responds very fast to her clients. the place is neatly kept! ever clean. and ofcoz a cake surprise on our last day was lovely! I recommend her to anyone travelling to Mombasa.

We enjoyed our time in this apartment which is much more than just one room. bedroom has a massive TV which I didn't switch on even once because I had so much other things to do in Watamu. All the bedsheets, kitchen ware and appliances were good quality so it was easy to prepare food when we didn't eat out. The best restaurants are really close by. At this house what I enjoyed a lot were quiet but effective fans on both rooms and especially also on cosy terrace as well. I will most likely stay here again next time I visit Watamu. Silvia is a passionate landlord with very quick and friendly communication.

Great apartment! Stayed here for two months and enjoyed the view and quiet of the area. Clean and simple space with weekly housekeeping. Admittedly a bit hard to find because it is tucked back into a neighborhood but it is peaceful. Easy enough to use Uber for cars and tuks tuks to get around. Kelitu was a very kind and responsive host and helped me with any issues that came up. I would highly recommend for a longer stay in Mombasa.

Great stay at Rosalyn’s place, perfect location for restaurants, bars and groceries (all walking distance) All the amenities you would need for a long or short stay. Highly recommended. Hopefully back soon.

Our stay at Azzurra's place was fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The apartment itself was charming, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, making us feel right at home, and the location is so close to the Watamu Mall where you can find an ATM, supermarket, nice coffee shop, and means of transportation to go around. The pool area was like a private oasis beautifully landscaped, impeccably maintained, and just the perfect temperature for a refreshing dip. Whether we were lounging poolside with a good book or taking a leisurely swim under the sun, every moment spent here felt like pure bliss Furthermore, Azzurra went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If you're looking for a cozy, centrally located retreat with thoughtful touches and a gracious host, look no further this is the place for you! We can't wait to return. Thank you Azzura

Chris is a gentleman who has helped me with helpful information every time I've approached him. The house was handed over to me and kept clean every day by his assistant, Clara, a polite woman. His location in Nyali is excellent, near supermarkets, churches, downtown, etc. The compound is calm, we can hear the birds singing, and fresh air is circulating in every house room. Also important is a 24-hour security guard in the compound on 7/7. I will stay at Chris' house again next time I visit Mombasa.

This is beautiful villa, perfect for families with children who seek some privacy, beach time, pool time and the pampering of the chef and the housekeeper! (Kids shall be safe swimmers as the pool is deep.) A total relaxing holiday! The beach is easy to reach, 15 min walk and for the return a tuk-tuk is always available. The beach is also fantastic, not too crowded, with super comfy sunbeds. Communication with the host was really easy and proactive, the housekeeper was able to help with anything we needed. Overall this was our best ever holiday experience!

Sarah and Pascal are incredible hosts. They paid us a visit and got snacks for my kids. The chef they recommended did a good job.

A beautifully decorated house placed on a windy corner overlooking the sea. The house has 3 balconies and is big and comfortable and can easily fit 6 people. It has quality funitures and a big well-equipped kitchen. The indoor temperature is very nice because of the wind. We felt sad to leave this luxurious house and plan to come back again for another great stay.

Jess place was ideal for our group of friends. The location was perfect and offered enough space for all 8 of us. The staff were the best humans who ensured our stay was beyond comfortable. This will definitely become a home away from home. I highly recommend staying and experiencing this home.

Erreicht man das Tor zum Cashew Nut Cottage mit einem TukTuk, so ist man mit Sicherheit etwas durchgerüttelt und voll von jeder Menge Gerüchen, Eindrücken und Lärm - doch dann öffnet sich das Tor zu einer anderen Welt. Eddi und die Hunde begrüßen einen, man stapft durch Sand hin zum Cottage und es ist sauber, still und ruhig. Die Vögel zwitschern, vielleicht hört man Stimmen aus der Nachbarschaft oder beobachtet einen Rotkopfgekko und während man den Kaffee oder Tee kocht, nimmt man eine kühle Dusche und findet sich bald darauf glücklich und zufrieden mit einer Tasse in der einen Hand und mit der andern Hand den Hund graulend auf der Terasse wieder. Paradiesisch.

Rose is a fantastic host together with the staff on site, always keeping it clean, helping when needed! Very nice house and cozy pool, nice to also have neighbours (two similar houses next to each other). Only thing to note is that the location is slightly off but we rented motorbikes that were delivered to the house and Anthony the Tuktuk driver is great to drive you anywhere, so not a problem in the end! Also Kenyan power with the power cuts, but the generator always worked so it wasn’t a big issue.

Brigid has a very clean well furnished apartment that's in a serene well guarded location The swimming pool is clean and there is ample parking. She is an awesome host who is available incase of anything.

Lovely appartment just in front of the beach and close to all amenities. Very good communication with Alessandro who was always prompt to responding to queries. The A/C in the room was much appreciated! The nearby hôtels are a bit noisy over the week end. Overall a very pleasant experience!

We had a great stay at Lucy’s place. Check-in was smooth and on time, and the place was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The swimming pool was amazing, and we were able to use it every day. The air conditioner kept us comfortable, and having a washing machine and iron was really helpful, especially with the clothes we brought. A cleaner came in regularly, which kept everything tidy. Getting to the main amenities and nearby cities was easy, and tuk-tuks were readily available to pick us up whenever needed. Overall, everything went smoothly, and I would highly recommend staying at Lucy’s place!

I thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful and laid-back atmosphere during my stay. There is a gym located within the premises, and the instructors were incredibly friendly. Additionally, it's a short and easy walk to the beach. Highly recommended!

this place is nice and clean and in a compound so of you like privacy it's nice. it will be a small wall to the gate and then some minutes to the main road. if you sont have a car and have old people with your or kids be prepared to take a Toktok or Uber. but the gate personal is super helpful and the pool is clean and have an amazing view. we was super happy

Very beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. Friendly staff. Walking distance to the beach, with nice restaurants and local shops in between.
