This lovely log house is ideally situated next to Lake Huron and within walking distance of a movie theater, coffee shop, and other amenities. We visited in November, so all of our activities were indoors, but the deck and fire pit looked like they'd be inviting in the warmer months. We spent a lot of time cooking and found the kitchen to be roomy with all the appliances you'd expect. We can't wait to come back!

Had an amazing long weekend - place was beautiful with clean, simple, beach decor. Amazing beach with chairs, toys, kayaks, fire pit, hammocks, umbrella, you name it…. Hot tub was clean and it being built into the deck was super convenient. Guest house was adorable and perfect for my little brother. Host was so responsive and helpful. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up, would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Glenda' s place! the beach was perfect for our little ones, and the house had plenty of room for us. We would definitely rebook here again.

The communications with the hosts were always timely and friendly. While booking this house I had a question to see if there was a high chair provided. Chad responded that he currently didn’t have one, but would be glad to get one if we were booking. We appreciated his effort to provide one so we didn’t have to pack one for our vacation. During our stay he reached out to us to see how things were going and if we needed anything. The house was exactly as pictured and what we expected. We were a combination of three families (11 people) ages 80 to 8 months. The house had plenty of space and comfort for our family. The garage had a game room on the 1st floor, with a bedroom above it. It helped provide more space for sleeping. The bathroom was for minimal use and we would have to walk a short distance to the house for a shower. It didn’t bother us; it was workable. The beach area is very clean with good swimming. There is a nice fire pit and deck with plenty of chairs to sit around.

This was an excellent location and the place was so cute, cozy and clean! Thank you Cindy and Paul for your great hospitality and accommodating us for an extra night! Seeing the train at night up close was thrilling and waking up to the crashing waves was a bonus! Highly recommended! Look forward to visiting again!! Debbie❤️

House was beautiful don’t feel like an apartment at all I was quite surprised how big the home was very clean quiet spacious.

This was the perfect hideaway for us for the weekend. We have an older Bassit Hound and we don’t like to leave him alone too long. The space was clean and pet friendly. Nothing for him to get into. Some dog toys and bowls were right there when he walked in. Deer were everywhere, Lewisville Smoke had great to go BBQ and a stop by The Farm for dinner is recommended. We would love to come back and visit in the summer months. Plenty of easy 1-4 mile hikes in the area.
