DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR! Communication excellent. Grant could not have been more accommodating. Accommodation all very comfortable. Facilities terrific. Views AMAZING!!! Perfect place for us to stay. Cannot recommend too highly.

Buttons was exactly what we were looking for. After enduring the crowds and noise of Christmas holiday period on Nth Stradbroke Is, this truly unique sanctuary of peace and quite provided us with a the perfect place to get away from civilisation, but with all the comfort of our home. Given the remoteness of the property, it could be difficult to plan what you need in advance. However, the hosts were a delight to correspond with and their attention to ensuring that we had an enjoyable and hassle free stay was complimentary. We loved the house, being the off-grid, the visiting locally wildlife, the sound of the breaking waves and wind, the well equipped gym, the bug free rear deck and BBQ area, and then there was King Island!! The hardest part of our visit was the daily tough decision to either stay home and enjoy the peace and quiet or go exploring this wild and beautiful Island. In the end we did both and enjoyed every minute of our stay. It's a adventuresome's paradise.

We have been coming to King Island for over 20 years so know it well. We must say that the most recent opening of LEGS Italian Restaurant is an absolute must. The venue along with lovely service and beautiful food provided us with a great experience. Thanks Ian, Ann and Chef Amy for a memorable evening. These people deserve to succeed. They are a wonderful addition to Lucinda’s Wild Harvest at Grassy, her restaurant at the Boomerang Motel and Oleada in Currie. No shortage of high quality dining. Clean, convenient, comfortable and plenty of space for a large group. Ian was generous with our welcome nibbles, though tricky to get a hold of when one person got locked out of their bedroom. Highly recommend and hope we can stay there again.

Let’s just start and finish with the location. KI is an amazing place to visit, and this is a great part of the island. Protected from west winds, and swells, if you had a yacht, this is where you would park! The place is modern, clean and tidy and super comfy. Looking out from the lounge room, you’re looking at the ocean, and snorkelling reveals a wonderland.. We didn’t want to leave, wishing we had booked for longer.

Sonia was a very welcoming host who took great care of us. She ensured we stayed warm with beautiful fires and we thoroughly enjoyed the fresh scones she surprised us with for our breakfast one morning. The fridge was well stocked on arrival. The location of the property is excellent and the interior of the property is charming. The beds are extremely comfortable and we all had a superb night’s sleep. All our interactions with Sonia were very pleasant and we would strongly recommend this property to others. King Island is beautiful and we had a fantastic holiday there.

Easy check in and immediately we felt relaxed. Easy walking distant to the shops ,post office ,bakery and pub. Opposite the house is pathway to lookout over Currie Harbour. Kitchen has everything you need with top quality appliances. Comfy lounge and a super TV along with interesting books to read. Dining area has plenty of chairs. The beds are so so comfortable. The HWS handled the showers with abundant hot water. We will definitely stay again and recommend to others.

We had a wonderful stay here. Excellent location, just a few minutes from the amenities in Currie but a world away in the wilderness. Great ocean views and very relaxing. The cabin was well stocked with everything you could need for your stay including board games etc. Would definitely recommend staying here.
