A wonderful cottage in a beautiful quiet location. Straight across the lawn to the shore, no road in front of the house so uninterrupted access. Lovely view across the channel to the mountains near Hobart. Good location to get around the island. Dee gave great instructions and suggestions before arrival. The cottage may look like a little beach shack on the outside but well refurbished inside and very comfortable, roomy and clean. Had a nice feel about it with lots of big windows. Picnic basket was a nice touch and much appreciated.

A beautiful, peaceful and spacious cottage with an abundance of charm. The kitchen was very well stocked for making meals, and it was delightful to watch to pademelons and wallabies in the yard. It was surprisingly warm, despite the many large windows, and the fireplace was perfect on a rainy evening. Con provided ample cut firewood for our stay. The home was very clean and cozy. Note that there is not wifi and service from Optus is minimal on Bruny Island, but Con provided a detailed book with recommendations around Bruny Island. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Great hosts who go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need. The staple provisions provided were above and beyond what you usually get. Very friendly but still allowed our privacy. Beautifully decorated space. Highly recommended

Great little private hide away with no neighbours in site, and a great view through the trees of the water. The house was very comfortable with everything needed and with a nice wood burner which was great at night. We were travelling in a 7 1/2 mt Motorhome and just wanted a few days to be still, plenty of room to park it, the only slight issue for us was the 8 km of dirt road with some corrugation getting there, but just had to take it slow. Well worth it.

We booked Ann’s place to relax and reset after a busy few months. It was everything that we had hoped for. The place has beautiful views and is light and bright. We love to cook and Ann’s kitchen has everything you need to cook a beautiful meal. There is a fantastic selection of CD’s, DVD’s and books which we made use of. The house has such a homely feel with comfy couches for lounging. What a gorgeous place, we absolutely loved it.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at Misha’s cabin, I booked it as a surprise after proposing and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. It’s in such a beautiful location close to the beach and one of the highlights was definitely seeing all the wallabies in the paddocks surrounding us, especially the albino ones! I will definitely be recommending this cabin to friends and family!

We loved our stay in Sandy Bay. Julie’s place was beautifully decorated and the views were magnificent. My Wellington in one direction, the Bay in the other. Quick And cheap Uber rides to Salamanca. Julie was a great communicator.
