This home was absolutely charming, cozy and fantastically appointed. The beds were very comfortable along with the bedding. All bedrooms and bathrooms were prestine. The living area and kitchen was very spacious and welcoming....outside of skiing we barely wanted to leave as we enjoyed the space so much. The fireplaces warmed us up quickly and the hot tub was constantly hot as soon as we were ready to jump in and enjoy the view from the top floor after long days of skiing. The owners were very kind and responded very quickly. We can't wait to visit again.

Our stay at Carnelian Bay was fantastic. Ryan made us feel right at home with Christmas trees and presents for the kids. His communication was prompt and on point, He answered all of our questions and concerns during our entire stay. The house is beautiful and well kept with an amazing view. It was well stocked with everything we needed for a two week stay during Christmas and New Years. We truly enjoyed the house and Ryan made the stay smooth and enjoyable.

Alice’s place was a perfect fit for our family. It was spacious yet cozy, remote and peaceful, yet conveniently located, and had all the amenities and touches of home. We had the best time sledding at the local hill she recommended to us, skiing at sugarbowl a quick drive away, and cooking delicious meals in their open concept kitchen. Not to mention the hot tub! Highly recommend.

This place was great for our family get together. Easy access to everything Donner Lake has to offer. 5 minutes to downtown Truckee. Enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the deck with a view of the lake. Well furnished with lots of amenities and responsive hosts. Definitely on our list of places to return to.

We stayed here for a relaxing week reunion with friends and it was a perfect fit for quick access to skiing and town when needed. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of privacy but a quick hop away from grocery store etc as needed. Host instructions and communications were clear and helpful. Excellent visit, thank you!

Very Nice Cabin located just a block away from the lake. Inside felt cozy and right at home. Had lots of entertainment inside. The host was very helpful and laid out clear instruction. Made our stay really easy!

Great, updated house in Serene lakes. Unlike other rentals this place was clearly updated somewhat recently. It held our group well, and the host was very responsive and flexible. We were able to cook the entire long weekend, so the kitchen worked well. And the mattresses were fantastic, super high quality (what you would buy for your own home), which is a big win compared to most rentals.

Our family absolutely loved our visit to Paula's house. The cabin was so warm and welcoming and we felt right at home. It was the perfect cozy place to spend a weekend. The house worked really well for our family... our kids (2 & 4) absolutely loved the loft area with the teddy bears and bunk beds and it was extremely close to take them to Soda Springs Resort kids snow area both days of our visit. We would definitely stay here again!

Marina's place was perfect for our family for a snow weekend. House was lovely, comfortable, well stocked, excellently maintained (unlike many Airbnb we have stayed in!), and just generally wonderful. The bedding was so comfortable my daughter is insisting we buy the same soft blankets for home! Perfect location for us, walkable to Royal Gorge and very close to Sugar Bowl and Donner Ski Ranch where we like to ski. Marina was super responsive when we had minor questions. Overall, highly recommend! Only downside for us was the driveway which is quite narrow and wasn't plowed while we were there so required some digging and tricky backing in, but within reason for a snow weekend. Just a word of advice to others to expect it. Thanks Marina!

We had a wonderful stay. House is very clean and cozy. Kids enjoyed the fun amenities. Definitely recommended for families.

Great Airbnb as described, the house was comfortable and the fireplace was great for the unusually cold weather in August, and so glad we had a hot tub. Backyard was great for our little pup. Within walking distance of restaurants, a beach and some trails. Great place to stay and Katie was very responsive.

My friends and I had a very cozy stay in this cabin. The fireplace and hot tub were nice amenities, there was spacious parking, and it was in a great location for the ski resort and other places we wanted to visit. The hosts were also very responsive, but we really didn’t need anything. The cabin is well prepared for guests. We would totally rebook in the future if available.

The place was exactly like the pictures. Even though other cabins are nearby it was still very private and relaxing. It was easy to get to places no matter what direction you went in but far enough away from the busier towns.
