We met Peter on arrival who was friendly and warmly welcoming. The accommodation is new and has been well planned with a focus on attention to detail. It was comfortable, secure and spotlessly clean. All basic needs were provided for with a perfect balance of considerate provisions, including breakfast items which was a lovely touch. We enjoyed the rural location and watched the wildlife across the fields; Hares and a Sparrow Hawk were spotted. We would definitely use Peters accommodation again if returning to the area, it was a short drive to coastal walks, National Trust sites and RSPB reserves which is why we chose this location. 5 stars from us !

Clean, tidy, peaceful, warm and in a nice location with plenty to do. Comfy bed and nice linen. Everything in good working order. Folder with many helpful suggestions. Private patio with table and chairs, and onsite parking. We had a great time here.

Thank you to Louis and Roy for creating Moat Island. We felt really lucky to stay. Magical place as if someone’s Imagination dreamt it up. When new guests arrived you could hear them making the amazed sounds we did. Excellent and social open kitchen, loved that. The tents are top quality, sturdy, warm, large and homely, dry as a bone. Bed so comfy. Private own patch of space. Around our tent was our own family fire pit and a table to eat at, a compost loo if we didn’t feel like heading to the very well made modern bathrooms on site. Kids liked the hammock and swing bench. The natural pool was incredible, could of sat on the deck all day looking at the scene, lovely to swim in. Peaceful, driveable to everything - we went to the Broads, Fritton Owl Sanctuary, the North Coast, Holt, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and into Norwich. Could just stay on the campsite all day though, plenty to do. I didn’t want to leave, will be back!

Had a lovely week here! It was really cosy, felt like a little home from home. So useful to have guaranteed parking if you’re coming and going a lot too! Maria and Stephen were very accommodating and helpful - and the drive in the TR6 was a highlight of my week. Thanks for making me feel right at home. Strongly recommend this property!

Had a lovely few days at the Crows nest, would highly recommend, the location was great for restaurants and shops. We couldn’t fault the apartment it had every thing we needed, very comfortable would definitely like to return

This was our 2nd visit to the Chapel in Duxford having visited the area a year ago. Still as spotless and accurately photographed as previously. Duxford is very convenient, especially if you wish to visit the Imperial War Museum and with 2 pubs and the Lodge to eat in the village, all within walking distance, plus Trumpington park & ride one junction up the M11 to use to visit Cambridge we would definitely recommend Matt’s place to stay.

Absolutely beautiful air bnb with everything you could possibly need. Host is so friendly, was really pleased with how clean and homely the property is.

Our stay at The Holt was just perfect. It had everything we needed including a downstairs room for my mum and beautiful grounds including woodland, fields and a river with ponies and Llamas for us all to enjoy with our dog. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious with stunning views. We could instantly relax and enjoy being in nature. Melanie and Phil provided really helpful information before we arrived so we knew what to expect. The holiday exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to visit again. Thank you so much

We had a great stay at Ness's place and our only regret was that our time here was so short with only a three night stay. It was really relaxing, with fantastic views and a great location for visiting many of the places that we already know so well in North Norfolk. A special thank you to Ness, for the goodies that she supplied us with - Kayleigh and Beti were especially pleased with the doggy treats! We'd love to stay here again when we're next in the area.

Perfect accommodation, excellently equipped to a high standard, with attention to detail on everything you would need during your stay, including welcome drinks, cereals and snacks. The views out onto the garden and further to the golf course were delightful, with a secluded patio area and a short walk into the town where excellent there are restaurants and shops. Michael was a very welcoming host, responsive to EV charger questions prior to arrival and providing helpful advice on the local area and best places to eat. We will definitely be returning for another stay - thank you so much Michael.

We loved the Coastguard boathouse, perfect location for a cheeky mothers day weekend one night stay! We were up in Norfolk collecting a new car and decided to combine it with a visit to Wells. The Boathouse has everything you need for a comfortble stay. Fully fitted functioning kitchen, comfy beds and sofas and spotless bathroom's. Amble parking nice and safe off road especially with the new car. Easy walk into Wells and the Quay and equally easy and lovely walk to the beach following Gaenor's useful instuction's. Thanks so much as we would not had the opportunity to explore as much without your info (and witty notes in the instruction book - it made the microwave much easier to work!). Thanks to for the slightly later check out due to clocks going forward, not that it meant a lay in but did give us time for me to be cooked a nice Brekkie and explore a bit more before long drive home. Looking forward to coming again

Located in a quiet location and within walking distance to the sea, it was a great place to stay. Well furnished, beautifully decorated and had all the facilities you need.

An outstanding property situated in gorgeous countryside. Rural, quiet but easy access to main routes. We had a lovely family stay. The 4 bedroom property offers everything. Rosie the Host provides a full hamper. Our check in was easy and Rosie contacted me with an earlier check-in time. I would not hesitate to recommend Oak Barn.

Beautiful place and great for a Winter weekend away. The wood burner made it very cosy! It has all the amenities you could need and we felt very comfortable throughout the stay. Wonderful host and will definitely be back again ☺️

thankyou for such a glorious stay! the place is nestled in a quiet tranquil spot next to a running river and sauna of which was refreshing to dip into.. the bed was super comfy and all the necessary facilities in kitchen and bathroom were plentiful with an addition of some goodies on arrival :) im very sure we will be back !! Beautiful, AND a lovely quaint pub at the top of the drive with delicious, local food menue, a true bonus..

Myself and 6 girlfriends stayed in the Attic Apartment at Lanwades Hall and it was absolutely perfect for us. We all got our own rooms which was absolutely ideal for our group and the number of bathrooms and toilet were spot on. Alex the host was absolutely fantastic throughout, responsive to all questions before we arrived and was so friendly and helpful whilst we were there too, nothing was too much and the complimentary Celebrations went down a treat! :-) We could not fault the location either, it was absolutely ideal as it's just a walk away from Kennett Station so we were easily able to do a day trip into Cambridge within 30 minutes. It's also just a 10 minute taxi into Newmarket where we went for a fantastic dinner at Unico followed by cocktails and a live singer at a fantastic bar called Gee Gee's. If you were going to the races then it would also be perfect. Thanks so much Alex for everything, we expect to return again.

My mum and I have just returned home from a long weekend staying in the Orford Studio and it was absolutely perfect. The accommodation is lovely - it is the perfect size, clean and cosy and has everything you could ever need. All the little touches and extra's made us feel at home straight away - we especially loved the underfloor heating and DVD's available! The check in and out is very quick and easy and Sasha made sure that we were all okay and had everything we need. We loved the site of the studio's; we went on some walks around the fields and loved waking up to the ducks in the morning. The location of the studio's is perfect - it's so close to all the neighbouring towns and places we wanted to visit and was a perfect place to stay. We had an absolutely amazing stay here and already want to return - I highly recommend! Thank you!

Had a lovely stay here over the holiday season with my family of 6 (grandparents, us, kid, and cousin). Alex had even left a Christmas tree up for us (we arrived in the 24th of December) and the local recommendations were extremely helpful. Never had to wait long for answers when we had questions, and Alex even took the initiative to let us know when some extra drinks were available for us from another event, or when later check out was possible. The grounds are peaceful and immaculately maintained. The surrounding area is quiet and there isn’t much in walking distance but there are plenty of cozy and delicious pubs, cafes, and restaurants in both Newmarket and Bury, which are just a few minutes from the property. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone who wants to have a peaceful and restorative stay away from the bustle of city life.
