We had a lovely two days. Beautiful building and surroundings.

As a group of four we had an excellent stay at Briardene. The cottage had plenty of space and was extremely well equipped and very clean and stylish. The hot tub was lovely and the quiet nights enabled a good night's sleep. There were two parking spaces which was great as the village is small with narrow roads. The village pub was warm and welcoming and the food was great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

What a beautiful property. The location is fantastic to explore the countryside for miles! The views from the cart barn are amazing! The cart barn was warm all the time during a cold week. Our dogs loved the stay, the hosts were extremely dog friendly! Private garden was great for the dogs to wander round. The hot tub was lovely and private with only sheep bleating and cows mooing to hear! A lovely rural location with hardly any traffic at all but in only 15 minutes you can be in a lovely town with everything you need. Local milk and butter to arrive to was lovely we revisited the dairy for fresh milk multiple times! Would absolutely recommend to everyone!

Claire's place is amazing, the pictures don't do it justice. Everything was perfect from arrival to check out. So many extra touches. Hot tub is Devine. Bed super comfy. Our doggies loved it too. Lots of walks. Local pubs very friendly and great food. Many to chose from. Can't wait to return xx

Would 100% recommend! The location was amazing and perfect getaway to take the dog having an enclosed garden and very short distance from their field and public footpaths. The place was absolutely immaculate, you would never have guessed previous visitors would have had dogs. The barn was exactly as described and can’t say enough about how friendly and helpful the hosts were. We are excited to visit again!

Beautiful and peaceful location, with great local walks. The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. Loved sitting in the wood fired hot tub listening to the owls in the evenings. Louise and Andrew were great hosts and provided lots of little touches including leaving us some local eggs and milk and lighting the hot tub fire for us when we were out for a days walking. Definitely recommended.

Lovely week stay at Mill Cross House! Beautiful place, such picturesque views. The cottage was well maintained and very stylish. Very friendly and informative hosts. Reply very quickly, happy to help and offer suggestions. Lovely local pub just a 5 minute walk, delicious food and drink. So pretty as well! Fantastic location, very easy to get to any beach, country walk, boutique shops and nearby town or city. Highly recommended!

We had the most wonderful Christmas stay at this lovely cottage! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the spacious layout and how well equipped everything was. The cottage had all the amenities we needed to make our holiday special, from a good-sized kitchen to comfortable living spaces. Located in a quiet area just a stone's throw from the beach and cliffs, it offered us the perfect blend of relaxation and stunning views. Our host was incredibly responsive and made us feel right at home, ensuring we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions or simply checking in to see if we needed anything, their hospitality was outstanding. This cottage is ideal for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the festive season in a beautiful setting. We can’t recommend it enough and are already hoping to return soon!

Great value for a lovely quiet retreat for the weekend, easy to get around the North Cornish coast from the location. Accomodation was spotless and very comfortable, would happily stay again as it offered all we need.

Had the loveliest secluded holiday in the cottage. Plenty of log burning nights and serenity. Exactly what I needed.

We had a wonderful stay in Hideaway cottage. Kelly and David should be very proud of themselves with the standard of their accommodation. I really loved the decor choice and the little extras like the dog tags and blankets to use on their gorgeous patio. We ate breakfast to the sun rising and drank wine as the sun set! Had such a wonderful time at the cottage. Very clear instructions on how to get to and into the property, it was spotless and Karen was always on hand via messaging to give any answers to any questions we had quickly and prompted. It's a beautiful property with so much character and comfortable beds in a stunning location. Cannot fault our experience and for the accommodation it was incredible value. Perfect cottage in lovely setting. All as expected and settled in immediately

Upon arrival, we were greeted and given a tour. We felt very welcomed, and the cottage was lovely and cosy. The surroundings are idyllic and beautiful, with lots to do and see. We loved making use of the facilities, especially the games room and hot tub/swim spa. Kamila was very kind to share a personal experience with the cheeky goats and alpacas. Thank you for everything; we had a wonderful holiday.

Absolutely beautiful cottage and garden in a fabulous part of Cornwall. We loved everything about the cottage - very well equipped and the beds were really comfortable. The kids loved the swings, slide and trampoline and all the quirky paths! The beach was close by and several gorgeous fishing villages. The scenery is stunning, the locals are friendly and the weather was fantastic! The narrow roads took a little bit of getting used to but they also added to the charm! We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and will definitely recommend Blanches Cottage to our family and friends.

The cottage was perfect for our family. Great location with parking and the added bonus of a hot tub. Lovely restaurants and places to visit . Fireworks on New Year’s Eve were fantastic.

Hannah and Ivor really helpful and friendly. Lovely setting. Children loved being able to forage and see the wildlife. Perfect. Peaceful.

Communication with Mark was great. The house is really lovely, as described, and the oak extension is great. It is tastefully decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and our 3 year old grandchild slept well in the peace and quiet. Thank you Mark.... we definitely would like to return.

In one word, heavenly. A Family or small group trip to explore anywhere around Devon, this is definitely a place for you —at a good bargain as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property. Modern house with state of the art facilities, wash rooms were great, large island kitchen with a befitting diner stood out for us. All beds and beddings were so so comfortable. Simply felt like home. Hosts Robert and Jane were great with communication so we didn’t need to call the host at any point as everything was as described. They also recommended places around, some of which were 100% for us. We would recommend a trip to Salcombe obviously as it’s a 20+ mins drive, explore the beautiful town, trip to north & south sands via the ferry and enjoy the lovely oceanic view. Highly recommend a visit to Crab Shell inn in Kingsbridge, don’t miss a trip to Torquay Marina, about 40mins drive from Goveton. Need to add that the roads to the village are narrow but in all, great experience!

We had a fantastic time here and will definitely return when we next visit Cornwall. This is a beautiful place, quiet and peaceful but close to plenty of nice places and things to do. Josephine was a lovely host, very friendly and chatty and was quick to respond to all messages beforehand. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. Hopefully see you again soon!

Two of us have just returned from a six night stay at Garden Cottage. There was a welcome tray when we arrived which was welcome. The house and garden were peaceful and the gardens were beautiful even in March. You can walk down to North Beach in about 15 minutes and have a lovely cream tea in the Winking Pawn restaurant. You can walk down to Salcombe but it is a steep walk back uphill. Victoria answered our queries straight away. The cottage is a home from home, well equipped kitchen and lovely hot water in the shower. There are lots of National Trust houses to visit within drivable distance. Overbeck’s Garden is one you should not miss. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in Pebble Cottage. The cottage was spotless and very well equipped. Our host was very organised and sent clear instructions prior to arrival. She was also very thoughtful providing treats for both us and our dogs which made us feel very welcome. There are lovely walks from the doorstep and lots of pretty villages to explore nearby. Would not hesitate in recommending.
