I rented this for myself as a getaway in the mountains with my guitar and I was not disappointed. From start to finish this was the best Airbnb stay I've ever had. I made the mistake of going late to the town and missed all of the buses and taxis services. The host graciously at the late hour called one for me and got me out of that situation. They went above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing stay. I will be staying here every single time I'm in the area.

We had a fantastic stay at Yoko and Yasuhiro’s home. We are a family of 5 and found the accommodation perfect, all the children had their own bed. We felt at home instantly thanks to all the extra touches, and we really appreciated Yasuhiro collecting is from the station and helping us with the travel cards. The children loved the cinema screen and fusbol table. We highly recommend this Airbnb for a comfortable and welcoming family stay with easily accessible transport links to the whole city.

The place is about 20 mins walking distance, or you can take the red/purple line bus. Check in was super easy with clear instructions. The house is very new, high end finishes, very good but basic kitchen appliances. The shower is very small as described but it will for most people... I'm 6'1" athletic build and had no issues. Washer dryer is combined but not that drying takes a very long time. That's the downside of combined washer dryers. But it is still better than no dryer, which is write common in Japan Only downside is if you need a taxi pick up. Unless you can speak Japanese, we couldn't, you are likely to have a hard time getting a taxi to come for pick up. If timing works out the bus stop is 2 mins away. We had to walk with our luggage to the station (early morning time), which as I said is very walkable and there are many that do overall very pleasant stay and super responsive host

Has a good walkable area with plenty of restaurants right outside. Very close to the train station, just on the other side of the market. Wifi only worked on top floor and didn't have great connection on first floor, could use a range extender. Elevator is small and can only carry 1 big person or 2 smaller people at a time, had to take turn ls going up and down.

AMAZING home in a quiet neighborhood. Close to the train station. Great places to shop and eat nearby. Very clean and had everything we needed. Host was very responsive and helpful.

This place was so comfortable and perfect for our family of 4. Mt Fuji does not always choose to make an appearance, especially outside the summer, but we are lucky enough to have a beautiful view of Mt Fuji on our first day. The views from the whole surrounding area are amazing but it’s so cool to go home and still have your own private, beautiful view. The house has everything we needed and the host was very responsive when we had a request to use the 3rd bedroom. Would stay again!

This home is squeaky clean. Spotless! Very comfortable beds and pillows. Everything was organized. This will h eny go to place in Tokyo.Highly recommended. It was a great experience. Thank you for having us.

We had a wonderful stay at Chihoko's loft. The supermarket ("OK market") outside is huge, as convenient as it gets! You're 1 subway stop away from Shibuya. The Sangenjaya station (also nearby) is a major hub, servicing express and local trains, and offers many restaurant and shopping choices with local suburban flair. My family was particularly fond of a pedestrian, green space walkway ~4 minutes north on foot. The green space spans many miles and showcases an authentic "slice of life" of suburban Tokyo. Recommend to walk it early evening, 5pm onward.

Great place to stay, lots of yummy food options and shopping nearby. Close to the train/subway stations. There was a lot of sirens throughout the day and night but given it’s close to the red light district it wasn’t unexpected, no other issues being close to this area though!

Quiet location close to train station , easy to get to the center. Clean and comfortable accommodations, has all necessities and more (blow dryer, flat iron even!). We enjoyed our stay

Staying at Mari’s place was great. It’s a quiet bit of Shimokitazawa right around the corner from the Train station making it really easy to get back after all day out in Tokyo. The property itself matches the description and pictures, and was clean and orderly when I arrived. Checking in was easy with clear instructions as was checking out. The bathroom was a bit small but as expected from a small Tokyo apartment of this sort. I bumped my knees/toes a few time but I figured it out. All in all I would stay again in one of their properties just for the location alone.

We only stayed for one night but it was easy to find the Airbnb and check in. Would say it’s a bit dated compared to what I expected from the photos but was clean and had everything we needed. Ryo and sent us so many recommendations which was lovely. There’s so much to do in the area!

Great with two toilets, two showers (same bathroom) and a washer/dryer, kitchen and access to the entire floor & upstairs playroom and balcony. The tatami mats in the rooms are clean, nicely set up linens with extras. Those of us over 40 had a hard time sleeping on the thinner tatami mats. I doubled up and was so tired every night that I never had a problem falling asleep. But just know that’s what you’re walking into. We highly enjoyed our stay and thought the location safe and convenient. The host was lovely to communicate with. We had no problems coming and going from the apartment.

This is one of the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had, great apartment and fantastic surroundings. I would highly recommend it.

Hitomi took amazing care of me and my daughter while we were her guests! She sent us a detailed list of recommendations for the neighborhood including kid-friendly highlights. When my daughter needed to go to the doctor, she sent a list of clinics. She also helped me ship some luggage to make my train trip easier. She was an incredible host, always going above and beyond. Nice area and view from the roof, it’s quite a bit of stairs to get up and it’s narrow so keep that in mind if you’re traveling with luggage. The beds were just a bit uncomfortable but nonetheless it does the job, other than that it’s a nice clean space and i recommend staying here.

Incredible host with perfect apartment for our 10 day stay in Shinjuku. Communication was amazing as was instructions/suggestions. There was heaps of room within the apartment for all our luggage and shopping. Toilet/bathroom was fantastic as was the amenities . Location was really good, walking distance to all the action and also train station I will be back here during my next stay. Thanks again, Steven and Harley from Australia.

Great place and great host. Very large by Tokyo standards and homely. Also very central so easy to get around. Premo was extremely responsive and helpful, going above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay, even sourcing a babysitter at very short notice! Would highly recommend to anyone.

A great place to stay. The location is close enough to everything you’ll want to do in Tokyo but in a great corner away from the craziness of the main area of the district.

This is an excellent option for exploring the Shinjuku and Shibuya areas. It's an easy walk from Shin-Okubo train station, and is in the heart of Korea Town - so surrounded by great restaurants. A taxi to Shinjuku was cheap and easy, or you can take JR or a subway. The directions on Google maps was perfect, and the host was very helpful and an excellent communicator.

It's a beautiful place. I wish the host was a little bit more flexible with the early check ins and late check outs, but I understand it's something that cannot always be available. Other than that, amazing place.
