We loved the location and the view. Plenty of amenities around and 3 stops to Tokyo on the train. If you don’t feel like travelling far for dinner The little restaurant on the corner over the road next to the bridge was stunning, the food so good, the owner was lovely. Reason enough to stay here again. Everything was functional and worked well. Again the location was so easy to get around from and the trains so cheap. We will be staying here again next time we are in Tokyo, can’t recommend this accomodation enough

Aya was the perfect host! As foreigners we weren’t able to call taxis and she was more than helpful with helping us get around by calling the taxis for us. She was always fast to respond and had great recommendations for things to do in the area! Her place was very cozy and clean! Would definitely book again if we are in Fuji!

The house is close to Hikifune station, and easy to find. Although it is small for 3 people, it have lot of appliance. Mari is a good host, since she is willing to help us and give us immediate response during the stay.

Had a great stay for about 26 days. It's like renting a real apartment and living there. You need to make your own food, buy your groceries, clean your clothes yourself. The only thing I missed a little bit because it was summer was a freezer, but with a supermarket a few minutes away you can buy the ice there. Station is about 15 minutes, but I always enjoyed the walk there. You can walk along a beautiful river for a bit to get the station. I didn't have any contact with other guests or neighbors, but the walls are thin and you can hear them sometimes. I can fully recommend this apartment if you don't want the hotel experience and more of a living experience

It was our second time at Masakatsu‘s apartment and we really love it! The beds are really comfy and the room is very clean, and spacious and has everything you might need. The onsen was great, too! As he says, it’s no problem being heavily tattooed and the water was really relaxing! We‘re definitely coming back!

We had a wonderful at Shingo’s place. The neighborhood is also great. Very accessible, lots of nearby restaurants, shops, groceries and close to train station. We really had a great time.

Very comfortable place to stay, located right between Tokyo and Yokohama. The host/hostess were helpful, pro active, and readily available. Clean and functional layout make this place perfect for one/two guests.

A great place to stay for sightseeing Mt Fuji!! The house is big and cozy!!

This home was absolutely stunning. The moment we walked in, we were all shocked at truly how beautiful it was. The views, furniture, bedding, etc. were all breathtaking. We were so excited that we ended up extending our stay an additional night, which Akatsuki was very kind about. The loft at the top of the house was the best part—a gorgeous little area to look out at the views of the mountains. The only downside is that this house is in a pretty private area, which can make it a little difficult to get to restaurants/stores. However, if you rent a car which we ended up doing, it’s no problem at all and there is parking available at the house. Additionally, there are 3 bikes available for use which were really fun to use. The last thing to note is that you can’t really see Fuji from this house, but if you go out and walk around the lake a few minutes you can have a great view. Overall, I highly recommend this home if you’re in the Kawaguchiko area!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was as pictured and very clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans, and tableware, so we had no trouble cooking dinner there. My kids especially enjoyed the hammock. I will note that the area from the second floor to the staircase is protected by wire ropes, so it’s not suitable for small children in terms of safety. Our children are older, so it was no issue for us. We’d love to stay again some time!
