If I could put more than 6 stars I would do it cause this place is definitely one of the best experiences I have had with Airbnb especially as I arrived during a traditional ceremony ! Locals were great ! I had a flat tires and everybody helped me. Their breakfast was included and really good. I will never forget this experience, thank you so much to the team and everyone present that night !

Thavill Retreat was more than we could have imagined. My husband and I visited on our honeymoon and could not have enjoyed our stay more. The space was beautifully designed, the home cooked meals were amazing, and Minh helped organize day trips and experiences. The staff were amazing and we loved our stay. The experience was once in a lifetime and we hope to visit again in the future.

Staying at Cinnamon EcoLodge was the best experience in Vietnam so far. Staying in the middle of nature, surrounded by Cinnamon trees, rice fields, a mountain village, and animals was so peaceful. I also really enjoyed the home cooked dinners with Gioi and his whole family, they were so welcoming and made me feel at home. A few other highlights were the local market, the walk/hike through the village, and learning how to harvest cinnamon. It‘s very close to Sapa, but away from all the tourists. Big thanks to Gioi and his whole family. They also helped with organizing transportation. I can totally recommend staying there if you’re looking for tranquility and a local Vietnamese experience in nature.

Definitely a place to stay when visiting Ha Giang. Huyen was very welcoming, helpful and kind to us. She was able to help us with flexible check-out times when we weren't able to check-out on time, and provided us with breakfast. The place was very clean and cosy and as described in the description. Huyen also provides Ha Giang loop tours at very cheap prices relative to other companies, I would rate this Airbnb 6 stars if I could. Would definitely come back!

One of my favorite Airbnb stays! This is a true homestay experience- not touristy at all. Tri helped organize everything and made it easy for us to get to the remote location where we stayed with the Red Dzao tribe. Benal and her family welcomed us into their home with such warmth and kindness. Benal speaks very good English and explained so much about her culture and traditions. She took us to experience many wonderful things like hiking to her family’s ancient wild tea trees, visiting waterfalls and bamboo forests. We also got to experience daily life of feeding the animals, picking vegetables and cooking traditional foods. We were lucky to be around during a festival and got to go to the village to see dancing, singing and games. We ate all our meals with Benal and her family and drank lots of tea that they picked by hand (included in the cost of the booking). I highly recommend staying here if you want to learn more about tribal life in the beautiful Ha Giang mountains.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft gut gefallen. Es war alles sehr sauber, sogar das Gemeinsamschaftsbad. Das Essen war lecker hab wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Das einzige was noch etwas zu verbessern ist, ist die stabile Internetverbindung.

Everything was perfect by Trung's homestay : the room was clean ; we were cold, he gave us an extra blanket (and there's a heating lamp next to the shower => useful in winter!) ; we wanted to make a one-day trek, he organized it ; finally our bus to hanoï was cancelled, he called the local bus to Lao Cai so the driver would wait for us, this way we could catch another bus to hanoï. I recommend this homestay strongly and going to Bac Ha is definitely not a waste of time!
