If you are looking for somewhere to pause, breathe & smile then the Noddle is for you. A real opportunity to switch off & enjoy Island life. An eco friendly home with all mod cons if you need them but this is a real opportunity to step away. There’s one shop on the Island of Hoy which opens in the morning & afternoon about 30 minutes across the Island so do bring most of what you need as there are two fridges & a freezer. There is also a regular ferry service for Island hopping so you can enjoy the best of both worlds.

A lovely place. Not quite the romance of the older parts of Stromness, but it has a great view, is well-appointed, and has easy parking. It’s easy to get down to the shops in Stromness and easily equally to get driving out of the town. Definitely would return.

This was the most welcoming AirBnB I’ve ever stayed at. David was very responsive and helpful. The cottage was absolutely lovely (if you are tall be warned the doors are short), and it’s right downtown and across from the Ferry. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and I cannot recommend it enough!

A great place to stay for our mixed group of adults and children. The house was warm on arrival and very welcoming. We spent so much time in the kitchen / Dining room cooking meals and playing board games.

Our week on Orkney Island wouldn’t be so great without that place. As we came with children one 3 mo, it’s perfect and it feels like home. Close to the town center and shops etc. Also a good spot if you want to drive and see most important sites on the Island. Clean and cozy. Highly recommended.

The house was spacious, really well stocked and in a great location. Lizzy communicated really well and made the whole stay very easy We had a fantastic two weeks there. The garden is a good size but for anyone bringing pets it is not secure.

We loved our stay here. The caravan was super clean and we slept so well each night. Caroline was a great host and I would highly recommend her and the caravan.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to The Barn at Kingsdale apartments. It is very comfortable, cosy and well equipped. The laundry is an added bonus. There were useful maps and suggestions of places to visit. The location is perfect for exploring all over the main island. It's very easy to get to Kirkwall and Stromness for large supermarkets and it's worth visiting Baikies in Finstown. Robert and Janis are excellent hosts. Thank you for the extra welcoming touches at the cottage. We would not hesitate to return if we're back in Orkney and will definitely recommend Kingsdale apartments to our friends.

A quiet and comfortable studio in the center of Kirkwall. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We had a wonderful family holiday at Scarva. Elaine has thought of everything. The apartment is cosy, comfortable, and quiet - a perfect place to come back to after a long day exploring. Better than the images (if that's possible). A real home from home. We would love to return. Thank you!

The flat is a little gem with lots of little added things to make it pretty: pictures, photos, nice curtains etc. When we arrived the electric fire and classic FM were on. A special touch. Super quiet. The view is amazing and it is only 10 minutes walk to Stromness. Super easy to access by car and then travel into the island. Highly recommend.
