Everything went smoothly and the flat was clean, spacious, and quiet. The amenities, like washer and dryer, were wonderful. While the location was slightly off the common "tourist path," we actually appreciated that and it was an easy bus ride or Uber back to the flat each night. We also enjoyed the local pub and the food choices nearby. My only issue was the lack of communication about the 3 flights of stairs/no lift. This fact is mentioned in other reviews (as I see now), but not in the description of the property nor in the initial instructions for accessing the flat. The stairs themselves are not Ben's fault and as I learned on my 14-day journey through Ireland and the UK, accessibility is not a priority in these old cities. That's fine. But the lesson for me I guess is to read reviews a little more closely, as that's the only place the stairs are mentioned. I have bad knees so trekking up the stairs each night after a long day was, quite simply, torture. But still a great stay.

Our recent stay at Begona's 2nd-floor Airbnb flat in Aberdeen was excellent. The flat was clean, well-equipped, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Begona was a fantastic host, allowing us the flexibility of an early check-in and late check-out, which made our trip even more convenient. The location was ideal, with easy access to local amenities and public transport. The flat was quiet and private, making it a relaxing place to stay. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend staying here!

We were a family of 5 and spent 3 nights in Rachel’s apartment. Apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Location is excellent. A couple mins to tram and easy walk to all the sights. Near lots of places to eat too and a Tesco express just around the corner. There were boxes of toys in the app which were great for entertaining our 5 year old. Rachel had everything labelled so you know where everything is and how everything works. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend.

The apartment is very attractive and was spotlessly clean. The overview of the harbour from the balcony provides lots of interest with the comings and goings of the local fishing boats. Central location is convenient for Arbroath amenities, and other Angus destinations are in easy reach. Very much recommended and hope to get back up soon.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Andy was a great host – very friendly and always quick to reply to our messages. We especially appreciated the convenient location, being only a 6-minute drive from the train station. The free parking there was a real bonus, and the 25-minute train journey to Edinburgh city center made exploring the city very easy. It's a perfect base for visiting Edinburgh!

Excellent garden flat a few minutes from the many coffee shops/restaurants and buzz of Stockbridge. We were lucky with warm sunny weather and the main room is flooded with sunlight - and it was even warm enough to sit out at the huge table on the patio in the lovely garden with its blossoming magnolia tree. Nice bedroom with comfortable beds. The flat is stylishly decorated with a Japanese theme and has great bathroom/shower rooms. The flat is even nicer than the photos show, and is extremely quiet as it is set on a circular road that doesn't go anywhere. The owner Gordon is very friendly. The kitchen is small and there is not that much equipment, but sufficient for a simple meal and Edinburgh is full of loads of great restaurants to tempt you out. I would definitely stay again.

Very responsive to questions. Clean and comfortable beds. Having washer and dryer was great after being on the road for over a week. Short drive to Tesco and Stirling Castle.

This is a good base for exploring the Trossachs. The house is comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen and spacious accommodation (we were there as three couples). Although it’s on the main road through town, it was very quiet at night. Aaron is a friendly and helpful host and we had a great time here.

Very comfortable stay in Lorna and Richard's house. Cannot recommend highly enough, hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Everything was provided that we needed, every detail had been carefully thought out. The house was perfect for visiting our daughter at university. Would love to stay again sometime. This is let is worth a visit if you are a family or in a group. It's a peaceful location with off-road parking. We all had a room to ourselves and there are nice places to relax in the house. We were able to walk 5 minutes to the tram stop and be in Edinburgh centre in 20 minutes or so. You can make the best of Edinburgh when staying. Usman is very hospitable and will meet and show you round himself. He communicated well for us and was flexible with when we could check in. This proved very helpful on the day! I would recommend staying here, it's a nice place.

The apartment was easy to find, it is not in the city centre but there are bus stops nearby. We needed to take a bus very early in the morning to the airport and it was easy. The apartment is comfortable and large enough for four people. It is well furnished to have meals in the house. We enjoyed the welcome pack in the fridge. The conservatory and the rear garden are lovely. Enjoy your stay there!

Very easy to find….and to get into the house.. The size of the downstairs was great for our party of eight. Unfortunately two single women and three couples didn’t go too well with the beds provided. The sofa bed in the double bedroom upstairs wasn’t used. But that was nobody’s fault and in the end we managed ok… We cooked the first night which worked well. We couldn’t find some things we needed evidently but Nadine was helpful.. There are plenty of ovens and microwave …..and washing machine which we didn’t need. TVs in lots of rooms.. Would’ve been better to have had a bigger table and the right number of chairs. Also more than eight of everything mugs, plates, bowls. Dishwater tablets were provided, t towels, towels - great. Wardrobe doors didn’t work in one bedroom…Having two bathrooms was good but because one bathroom is en suite upstairs meant most of us used the downstairs one so mopping up a lot. Easy to catch buses into the city.

Really enjoyable stay at Darren's place. Lovely location and close enough to commute to the Aquatics Centre and city centre on a daily basis. House really well equipped. Would definitely stay again 😊

What a gem of a place. Perfect location for our spa day at Gleneagles. Beautifully appointed, the beds were so comfortable and we got the best sleep. Everything you could need for a stay away.

Fantastic dwelling, great location and excellent hosts. We will definitely look to return to Edinburgh in the future and seek this residence as well as highly recommending it to our friends and family. Our hosts Mark and Dayna were wonderful especially with their wonderful gesture of allowing us to stay an extra night, free of charge, due to The Hogmanay Festival being cancelled. Thank you again. Nevertheless a wonderful visit to Edinburgh underpinned by an excellent apartment and generous hosts.

Extremely well equipped, clean, comfy and cozy apartment. We stayed here comfortably with four people. Location is ideal and the center and surroundings of Aberdeen are easily reachable. Sean was very helpful and friendly. Big plus was the private and safe parking space. Can only recommend!

Fabulous long weekend @ Jude’s felt like a real home from home, had everything we needed and more! Beautiful decor which made you feel extra relaxed. Comfortable beds, nice and cosy. One of my parents has a visual impairment so the discreet grab rails and walk in shower in bathroom combined with grab rail in patio area where so helpful. Thanks for everything.

Well equipped flat, on regular bus route in to Edinburgh. Close to local supermarket.
