The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

Bethany was professional in all her interactions with us. she was prompt and pleasant.

I cannot say enough good things about our hosts but also to their cleaning team! House was very homey, lots of extra bedding and towels. All the kitchen things needed to cook big meals for my family! And wow! The games and being baby friendly was so nice! The scenery beautiful and private location! I would recommend anyone with a family to book this home and don’t look elsewhere!

Debi and Russell truly are super hosts! They welcomed us at check in to walk through the unique amenities like the indoor pool, and had us set up with everything for making s’mores at the fire pit. The robes and slippers were a nice touch that made it extra comfortable. If you want a memorable and fun experience with easy access to a private pool, I highly recommend this place! It was also immaculately clean!

Cody and David are great! I stayed here for a little over a month while I looked for permanent housing in the area and they could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend to others. It's just as nice as the pictures and previous reviews indicate. They're good people and I missed interacting with them once I'd left.

This is a truly magical space. Our group of friends created forever memories over our annual weekend gathering this year. Words and pictures don’t do it justice. The chorus of the frogs from the cedar tub was fantastic. Thank Mathew!!

Mike has been one of the most attentive & friendly hosts that I have ever stayed with. They really make sure that you have everything you need, proactively checking in to ensure everything is comfortable for your stay. It felt like staying with extended family of sorts. this’s the fourth time I stay here and and we’ll continue to visit every year. This house is truly perfect for a getaway from the city. We loved getting to sit by the water and listen to the birds. The house is well stocked with everything you could need, Thank you Mike for sharing your beautiful home 🥂

Dahlia cottage is a magical place in the perfect location. This was our third stay at this wonderful little cottage, and we will stay again! Scott’s place was beautiful, the location and view were perfect. My family and I really loved the place and it was in good distance of the ferries and poulsbo. I would be open to staying here again in the future.

I rented this home for a long weekend in January and it was wonderful! The downstairs area has a fantastic kitchen (it's large, well-stocked with small appliances, and a great space for those who love to cook and bake), it has a large table for dinner and games, and a very cozy living area with a couch, giant bean bag chair, and gas fireplace. We certainly felt at home here! There is immediate beach access from the house and it's a short drive into town. The host, Kirsten, was super responsive and helpful. From the beginning, I knew that we were in good hands and would be well taken care of by her. I would note that the main bedroom, the one with the largest bed and fireplace, is not in a private room but is in an open loft space. It made for an interesting and less-than-ideal bedroom setup when sharing the house with a larger group of people. Despite the lack of walls and privacy, the room itself was quite nice - the fireplace kept it warm and the view from the bed was fantastic.

What a wonderful house and location to spend a few days relaxing. The views from the house are incredible and it's located in a quiet neighborhood. The beach is a two minute walk from the house and there are also several areas to walk to enjoy the beauty of the area. Kimbra was so responsive before and throughout our stay and made us feel right at home. We can't wait to go back again and enjoy such a wonderful setting and house.

We really enjoyed our time. Plenty of room for our family and some extended family to hang out during the day. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and very clean and comfortable. My husband and I had stayed in the downstairs only unit before and enjoyed it so opted to rent the whole house for some family lake time. Jeff is very communicative and proactive.

We stayed at Nordic Hill Manor for a weekend for my best friend’s 50’s birthday. All ages were there and and they all had a great time. The trail around the property was beautiful and we even saw three bald eagles on the marshy area out back. The beds were great and the kitchen has everything needed to make meals for 20 people. The hot tub was wonderful as well.

Beautiful, comfortable home, lots of space to gather, peaceful location. Carl was quick to respond to messages and, when the weather caused a power outage, he was right there to start the generator and build us a fire. Then he kept us informed about the restoration. Great place, absolutely loved it, can’t wait to visit again!

Lovely stay. The house was very welcoming and clean. Really enjoyed the decor felt like a magazine. Bed felt like a hotel with so many great pillows. View is even better than the photos. Quiet neighborhood slept great. Lots of space.

It was so enjoyable to be right on the shore of Hood Canal. We saw otters hunting and eating just 20 feet from the shore and even a harbor seal. The neighbors are friendly, too.
