The house was nice , warm and cozy. Feel like home. The location was great. Just 3 mins to supermarket and 3 mins to Sweden. The view was breathtaking. Amazing

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist bequem und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das fantastisch gelegene und ausgerüstete Saunahaus wird mit den Besitzern geteilt was absolut kein Problem ist. Das ganze Grundstück ist gepflegt und liegt schön an einem grossen See. Die Sicht über den See mit Polarlichtern ist unvergesslich. Ausserordentlich freundliche Vermieter die sich sehr grosse Mühe geben. Jukka hat uns sehr gute Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

An exceptional stay! The location is perfect—close to the main town yet nestled in a peaceful, private setting. The house is impeccably clean, with a very comfortable interior, and the bed and pillows are of outstanding quality. The amenities were top-notch. The jacuzzi and sauna were spotless and easy to use, and having our own ice pool was an absolute highlight! The view of the northern lights from the lakeside location was simply unparalleled—hands down the best spot to witness this natural wonder. Thank you, Lauri, for your warm hospitality and for making our stay unforgettable!

Tero est un hôte parfait. La communication a toujours été agréable et fluide. Le logement est parfaitement équipé, très cosy et on profite d'un environnement reposant Le chalet se trouve vraiment au milieu de nulle part, ce qui a des avantages et des inconvénients. Les avantages : le calme, la vue sur le lac, le repos, le silence, le fait d'être entouré de la nature mais surtout, on peut surveiller l'arrivée des aurores boréales en restant bien au chaud au coin du feu et sortir dès qu'elles arrivent (pas besoin de payer une fortune pour une sortie "Chasse aux aurores boréales" ni de prendre froid pendant 3-4h à l'extérieur Les inconvénients : les supermarchés sont à 50 mn de route (mais une petite épicerie est à 12mn de du chalet) et les trajets sont longs pour se rendre à des activités comme par exemple les chiens de traîneaux ou le ski, 1h30 en moyenne Pour nous, c'était parfait, on a vraiment adoré notre séjour hivernal en Laponie

Das Ferienhaus ist gut gelegen, wenn man alleine sein möchte. 8km von der nächsten Strasse entfernt. Es ist direkt an einem See. Die Kommunikation mit Johanna ist jeweils grossartig und sehr freundlich. Die Unterkunft war sauber. Ist mit dem Auto einfach zu erreichen.

Notre hôte a été très attentionné de notre arrivée à notre départ. toujours de bon conseil avec nous, nous avons pu voir et faire ce que nous souhaitions en Finlande. la maison est idéalement située entre kitilla et rovianemie avec un supermarché à 5 min , au calme dans une forêt. la maison est encore plus belle que sur les photos et il y a tout le confort. aucune pollution lumineuse aux alentours, nous avons pu voir les aurores boréales sur place. c'était magique et magnifique.

Eine sehr schöne, ruhige Unterkunft mit privater Sauna und Jaccuzzi. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, wie zu Hause. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.

Wir waren mit der Region äusserst zufrieden. Ganz ruhig und abgeschieden. Wir konnten sehr gut die Polarlichter direkt über der Unterkunft sehen. Es war traumhaft. Die Unterkunft war schön warm und herzig eingerichtet. Jani war umgehend erreichbar und sehr freundlich.

Oikein mukava paikka ja Maurin kanssa asiointi sujui aina hyvin! Mökki sijaitsi kauniilla paikalla aivan järven rannassa. Piha oli rauhallinen ja luonnollisuudessaan oikein viihtyisä. Rantasaunassa oli lempeät löylyt ja järvessä oli ihana käydä vilvoittelemassa. Uimaranta sopisi hyvin pienille lapsille, sillä pohja oli pehmeä ja vesi pitkälle matalaa. Sisältä mökki oli rennosti sisustettu ja huollettu. Sieltä löytyi lähes kaikki tarpeellinen viikon oleiluun, pyykinpesukonetta olisimme vielä kaivanneet. Pyykkiteline löytyi, astianpesukone ja astioita, peittoja, tyynyjä yms. oli mukavasti. Nettiyhteys toimi moiteettomasti. Ilmalämpöpumppu auttaa pitämään mökin lämpimänä tai viileänä tarpeen mukaan. Ikkunoissa oli pimennysverhot. Makuuhuoneessa oli parisängyn lisäksi kerrossänky ja tuvassa levitettävä vuodesohva. Sisällä oli iso kylpyhuone ja ulkosaunan lisäksi oli mahdollisuus käyttää myös sisäsaunaa, joka myös antoi mukavat löylyt. Mökki vastasi hyvin kuvausta.

Beautiful place in winter time, magical silence around. I spent here only one night, so I didn't have the possibility to try all the facilities (for example the sauna, the stove), but everything looked good. Laura was very helpful to offer her help if I couldn't start my car the next morning (as it was -30°C), and also flexible with check-in time. I'd love to spend more time here next time.

Absolutely stunning place to stay. We would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in a private, quiet location. We watched the most beautiful sunsets and our son loved playing out in the snow. The sledges were well used and loved by the grown ups too!

Magnifique chalet au bord de la rivière, calme et paisible. Loin de la ville mais avec des activités possible en voiture aux alentours. Sauna intérieur, grill à l extérieur, raquette à neiges à disposition, ainsi que des luges. Hôte accueillante et aux petits soins. Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour!

Magnifique chalet pour passer des vacances en famille. Très facile d’accès et en même temps seule dans la forêt. De belles balades directement a pieds. On a bcp apprécié le sauna et les aurores boréales visible du jardin si le temps est dégagé :)

As two families of 4 from Australia visit g Finland for the first time, picking both and area and a home to stay in was very daunting - however when we stumbled upon Marko’s home we knew instantly it was what we were after. We were completely blown away by the beauty and serenity of the home upon arrival and our stay was nothing short of magical. Marko was an absolute pleasure to deal with from the time of booking right up past check out. We had the luxury of seeing the Aurora lights straight out the back of the home on 3/4 nights and also fresh snowfall. The ability for the kids to sled down hills all day long, have snowball fights and simply enjoy the snow was an experience they will never forget. Thank you Marko for opening your home to us and I would completely recommend this home to anyone looking into it. It truly was amazing and if we could have stayed longer we would have.

We had a great time at Janis cabin in the woods. We enjoyed the sauna, which worked without any problems, and the peacefulness. We saw some free reindeer roaming the area on our way to the cabin, and also saw Nothern lights on our first night! The cabin was clean, warm, and had everything we needed. The directions to the cabin were easy to follow. Can recommend!

A truly unique & alternative experience away from the more touristy/gimmicky options in Lapland. Teemu is an amazing host & made sure we had the perfect stay. When we arrived, he welcomed us with a warm fire, a snow-chilled bottle of champagne & an evening sleigh ride down the frozen river. When we didn’t have plans, he gave us local suggestions & made phone calls on our behalf. His adventures/experiences were also so much fun & we would highly recommend booking at least one dinner as well as his privately guided snowmobile trip. Teemu is a fantastic chef and we greatly enjoyed a 3 course salmon meal in the cozy & pleasantly decorated dinner cabin. The snowmobile ride is worth the price considering you get a 4hour trip across Teemu’s expansive private land & away from the public trail network. Lunch & photography also included. This is one of our favorite Airbnb’s to date & the pictures don’t do it justice. Our stay surpassed all expectations. Very happy we booked!

Diese Villa ist ein absolutes JUWEL! Das wunderschöne Haus in wunderbarer, herrlich einsamer Lage am See ist mit so viel Liebe hergerichtet und betrieben, perfekt ausgestattet auch für größere Familie und fühlt sich an wie direkt einem Film entsprungen. Das Beste allerdings ist die unglaubliche Gastfreundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit der Gastgeberin Jaana: von grandiosem Lachs-Dinner in der Hütte über die Vorbereitung eines perfekten finnischen Saunaerlebnisses am See ging sie bei diesen besonderen Angeboten definitiv die Extrameile und hat damit und auch mit ihrer sonstigen Hilfsbereitschaft unseren Aufenthalt zu einem ganz besonders eindrucksvollen und sehr persönlichen Erlebnis gemacht. Nach viel zu kurzen 3 Tagen ist unser Herz voll, und wir können einen Aufenthalt in der Villa Arcticmint nur wärmestens empfehlen. Danke für alles, liebe Jaana und Familie!

Una estancia increíble, de película! Maikku y Jurko han sido unos anfitriones increíbles, nos han ayudado con toda la información que necesitábamos y han estado siempre pendientes de que todo fuera perfecto. La casa es super bonita, calentita y equipada con todo, con unas vistas preciosas y una Sauna increíble, que se puede alternar con salir al patio y ya es una experiencia top! El esquí por el lago helado ha sido increíble, y hemos tenido la suerte de una Nochevieja con el cielo despejado y unas auroras increíbles!! Nos pudimos hacer buenas fotos en el lago y nos quedamos dormidos viendo auroras desde la cama! Nos consideramos muy afortunados por habernos alojado en la casa de Jurko y Maikku!! Lo mejor de nuestro viaje!! Muchas gracias a los dos por un recuerdo para siempre!

Verkligen underbar stuga ! Vi var ett gäng tjejer som njöt av husets bastu, badtunna, braskamin , och fina kök/vardagsrum! Ett plus var det vackra porslinet huset bjöd på. Värden svarade snabbt på alla våra frågor. Enda lilla minuset var att varmvattnet inte räckte till oss alla 10.. men annars helt underbar vistelse 🌟!! Rekommenderas varmt 🥳!
