This feels like less of a "review" and more of our most sincere and incredibly heartfelt Thank You to Zoei and Bab. We came to Iceland for our secret elopement and booked our flights only after finding this Airbnb... we knew it was the perfect setting for our private ceremony, and there are truly no words to describe just how magical Zoei's Garden is. From the moment we walked in, we could feel the immense care and love and spiritual energy that they have poured into every corner of this home / property. The private hot spring lagoon was the most magical we experienced our entire time in Iceland. This home is by far the best kept secret on Airbnb, and hands down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. Zoei was extremely communicative and helpful and so sweet and kind. It felt like we were staying at the home of a dear friend. We will never forget Zoei's Garden and cannot wait to come back. My husband and I wanted to get away from the city and out in the country. This was the perfect place for us. The scenery around the cabin is breathtaking. We enjoyed the hottub and we're also able to view the Northern Lights on a few nights. The amenities inside were perfect and just what we needed. I was a little apprehensive about the shower being outside in a separate building, at first, but the water was hot and the pressure was excellent. Our stay was perfect and the communication with Vidar was top notch. Such a beautiful place.

We had an absolutely amazing stay here! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. Getting to the lodge was easy, both during the day and at night, and the check-in process couldn't have been smoother. The place is exactly as described, if not more beautiful in person. The views of the mountains and lake from the lodge are simply breathtaking, and we were lucky enough to catch glimpses of the Northern Lights! The location is also ideal, with many excursions not being too far away. A helpful tip - you’re planning to do the Northern Lights tour, we discovered that the stops to view them were only about a 5-minute drive from the lodge, so you might want to consider just driving around to catch them! Gudrun was fantastic and was always available to answer any questions we had. My family and I loved every moment of stay and We definitely hope to return in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Jónsstaðir. The cabin was lovely and warm on arrival thanks to the underfloor heating. The cabin had everything we needed for our three night stay. We were a little apprehensive about the outdoor shower but even in November this was great! It is in a wonderful location overlooking Þingvallavtn and only a 10 minute drive from þingvellir National Park and 30 mins from Reykjavik. The hosts Anna and Björn were very accommodating and helpful and answered our questions quickly. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Margret's place is simply wonderful, to say the least. The house is extremely comfortable, sophisticated and clean. It's equipped with everything you need. Its location, for those looking for a quiet and idyllic place, is simply unbeatable. The view, the silence and the nature of Iceland are right next door... There is a supermarket nearby (20 minutes). Margret is very friendly and kind. She recommended good restaurants and gave important tips. My family and I will definitely be back. It was worth every second...

We were two families (4 adults, 4 children) staying at Himri and would highly recommend it as a place to stay. The house is beautiful, with lots of space and the surrounding area is lovely. It has great access to all the main sites around the Reykjavik region. The house is laid out really well, with lots of space to chill out and relax and all of the fittings feel new and modern. Thank you Berglind, we absolutely loved our time at Himri!

Our second stay here and can confirm that this airbnb is by far the most peaceful we have ever stayed in. We are always joking how we wish we could buy the place and live there forever! It has beautiful views, is private, clean, and overall just perfect. We are already getting our calendar together to be booking our next stay here!

Alfa and Finnur were very friendly and helpful, the best hosts!!! The house is lovely and cozy. Perfect for our family! The hot tub was the perfect temperature and so relaxing. I sincerely hope this place is available for our next visit!!!
