Recently stayed here for a getaway from the city and, wow this place was great! It was just an 1 hour away, so even though there was a snow storm, getting there was no problem. The cottage was great, a great view of the lake, quality appliances in the kitchen, fully stocked kitchen (we had zero issues with cooking), clean and showers with enough hot water, and a great hot tub. It's rare to find a cottage where there were no issues with anything but this one is definitely one of the rare ones. I would definitely book this again. Weiqi and Shuyan were great hosts. They provided clear and easy instructions for check in, as well as instructions on how to use all the amenities for the cottage. They were also super responsive to the questions and requests we had. A++

Our family has rented via Air BNB for the past 10 years. This home was exactly as described. A lovely big space for 14 people. All of the amenities and then some. There were even dishes and cutlery for babies/toddlers. The kitchen is well stocked with every dish/pot/utensil you might need. We had no issues during our stay but I have no doubt that it would have been addressed immediately. Large yard for games and running around and a beautiful outdoor living space. Jim greeted us in person upon check in and showed us around. It was a very nice touch. This home is very close to Uxbridge which is perfect for picking up any necessities. We definately recommend the Stone House and we are so glad we found this place.

Awesome place to go with some friends for a night, host was very helpful with everything. Also was very private and peaceful with good amenities.

We had spent New Year's at the spot and had a blast. The farm is a very cozy spot that you could tell is cared for very much by it's owners. They were kind enough to provide eggs and honey upon check-in. I don't know much about eggs, but you could tell the difference between the fresh ones (for the better!). Sean was very responsive and flexible to our needs. Definitely would recommend for a family trip up north for a quick getaway.

We had a great time for our girls weekend! Very beautiful landscape and property, the house is fully stocked with everything you could need for your stay and more. Comfortable sleeping areas and living spaces. Christine from cottage link was super quick to help us when we needed assistance. Thanks so much for hosting us, we will for sure be booking again 🧡

We recently spent the night at this beautiful cottage. I am not one to leave reviews but this cottage exceeded my expectations. It was decorated so nice, had so much space, and had lots of activities for the kids. The environment was so peaceful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a getaway.

We had a beautiful stay! The place felt more like home which was nice and warm. It had all the amenities that we required for our stay.. Our family enjoyed the stay especially the hot tub, billiards game, table tennis, and foos ball game and our trail walks.. Rahim was extremely helpful and answered all our queries promptly and made sure that our stay was comfortable. We as a family would highly recommend this place to everyone who would want a nice cozy home for a weekend getaway! Thank you Rahim for hosting us and helping us out! The house is lovely and we intend to visit again in summers..

A lovely stay, so much space and in a great location. Would 100% recommend this air bnb, Cookie is a great host and quickly responds to any questions. Kitchen is well stocked and we were easily able to cook Thanksgiving dinner.

Enjoyed staying at this cute cottage. It was very comfortable and had all the amenities needed. As stated it’s very close to the water, just a short walk. The hosts are attentive, responsive and very courteous.

Natalie’s cabin is the perfect escape from the city. The best part about it is you aren’t driving hours to get there it’s convenient but also just so relaxing and gorgeous! The nature there was exquisite and the land itself is surreal. The place is so clean, spacious, quiet! Natalie has a gorgeous little pond with a dock just perfect to enjoy some wine or your morning coffee. The firepit was so much fun at night with some s’mores. The bbq was well kept! The land is just picturesque. My (then) boyfriend proposed to me on Natalie’s dock and it was just truly magical. I would recommend this property to anyone I could! 5/5 will go back again!

We spent our days in the busy city and needed a quiet, peaceful place to unwind each evening. This was exactly what we needed - and our gracious host patiently addressed all of our concerns, and answered all of our questions. My wife and I especially enjoyed sitting by the private pond and watching the geese.

Min was a great host. She answered all of our questions relatively quickly and was very understanding when we checked our late. The house was great, the backyard was gorgeous, the couch was SO comfy, and the amenities and stuff that we could use in the house (ex beach chairs for the beach) were great. One thing to note for people coming to stay here: there is no beach access within walking distance. You have to drive about 15 minutes and parking there is expensive ($10/ hr or max $40 up till 9pm) but if you can park nearby or just don’t mind spending the money then the beach is public and superrrr nice. Within walking distance though there are areas to access the water to paddle board or kayak etc, which Min provided us a key for.

Our stay was easy right from the beginning, super flexible as we changed our dates. Instructions were clear and helpful, we also received information about a nearby private beach which was super helpful and timely, we had a lovely walk there in the first night. We loved the house, it is so spacious with everything you could need. There was a lovely outdoor space too. We would highly recommend this house and host! Thank you!

One of the best times we have ever had!!! Land is amazing and our kids had the best time running around!

We loved the chalet feel of this place. The beds were comfy and we were happy there’s a tv in the livingroom now, which was a great place to hangout together. We’d love to return if we have any future events at the Art Centre, which was only a five minute walk away. We also checked out Rays (less than 2 min walk) and Gather Cafe (1 min walk) - highly recommend both!

Kelly is a great host and it was a pleasure to meet her during our stay. She arranged for an earlier check in and a late check out due to our stay being for medical reason. She is very proactive and a great communicator and her attention to details didn’t go unnoticed. There was a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a welcoming card waiting for us upon our arrival. Our home away from home was as pictured. It was nicely furnished, great decor and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom/shower very modern. The TV included several streaming apps which was definitely a plus. The location is in a quiet residential area and within walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores. Would definitely recommend this place and we hope to come back again.

The weekend my girlfriends and I spent in The Gingerbread House could not have been more perfect and memorable. The home itself was even more beautiful in person than the pictures. Meeting Michael and Simon was an absolute pleasure. They could easily write a book on how to be the perfect host. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Our stay was fantastic. The White House on the Hill lived up to its billing. The view was spectacular and yes at the top of the hill. Liliana was a great host. Very responsive when we needed her. We had our families their for Christmas and the Holiday, Liliana decorated the house for us. A Christmas tree, decorations and many wonderful things that made us feel like it was our own house for Christmas. We enjoyed the modern kitchen and counter space. The dinning area was spacious and perfect for serving. The family/ Great Room was very cozy. A comfortable leather L couch for us to curl up and enjoy movies. The wood burning stove added so much to the room. The warmth, ambience and smell of the fire was like an old cottage. All wood was provided. Liliana was very gracious letting us have a later check out on January 1. We stayed from December 26th to January 1 and had a fantastic experience. We would recommend the White House on the Hill 5 STARS. We will be there again Rose, Gord & Family

This place was absolutely wonderful! Beautiful and quiet home, tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen and access to laundry. Plus Kim was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful cottage and wonderful location! It feels just like home. We really enjoyed our stay from the cozy living room and beautiful front porch to the spacious backyard!! It was perfect for our girls trip! The place had everything we could possibly need and any questions we had were answered quickly! The private beach and lake access were a short walk from the house and we had a wonderful time enjoying the water! The cottage is located in a wonderful neighborhood. The neighbors were so friendly and welcoming which was an added bonus!!
