Stunning view! Beautiful home! We loved waking up to sit down at the dock or sit on the couch and just look out the beautiful windows. The kitchen is fantastic! The bathrooms were spotless. We’ll definitely be back. One note- stop off and get groceries before you arrive. It’s remote enough that when you get there you don’t want to leave.

Loved our stay! Ana Luisa was a great host. Loved the special touches like fresh tulips and a generous supply of firewood for the wonderful wood-burning stove! This was a great spot for a mini-writing retreat with friends!

We had such a good time! Lots of space, kid friendly, well equipped kitchen, beautiful location by the water. Host communication was great. Hope to stay again sometime!

This spot is a great location for having a quiet, low-key escape. The house is very comfortable and the deck has plenty of space to relax and enjoy the exceptional view! It's a very short walk to ice cream, coffee, the General Store, etc. The pace of living slows down a notch here, and it's easy to feel like you are a part of the town very quickly. The hosts were top-notch and super responsive. Fantastic experience!

We loved our stay at Babette’s sweet little cottage. It was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated without feeling cluttered or lacking character. It was close enough to town and the ocean to not have to drive far, but far enough in the country to enjoy some space and quiet. There were plenty of hiking trails and places to explore nearby without having to trek too far.

We loved the house and the views! Very spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. Plenty of room to relax. We didn’t visit at the most picturesque time of year but the house made our stay worthwhile. Loved it all!

It is all in the details, but- the VIEWS! What a magical place! There are 2 properties on this dead end road , both owned by Tim. This one is at the end and it felt like we were on our own private island. Views from this home are AMAZING. We slept so well on the comfy beds and awoke to the sunrise over the water in its brilliant colors of pink and red and saw the moon at night. Besides that, we kept our vehicle safe from the elements in the garage and easily unloaded into the house. It has a great large mudroom/laundry entrance so you can store extras out of sight. There’s area guides, some towels, a cooler- we brought them with us for a Bar Harbor day trip! The layout of the home is WONDERFUL , everything is SO CLEAN, spacious and open. Gourmet kitchen, multiple sinks, ovens, equipment, even beautiful cookbooks! We used a recipe from the Magnolia one- so YUMMY! Would be a great spot to come with 2 other couples or family any time of the year- we were a staycation!

It is an old house so don’t expect modern conveniences but the location is amazing. The town is easily within walking distance and there are fun things to do and see all around. The hosts directed us to 27 Fathoms where the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend this location and this place.

Jen's place was perfection itself, with thoughtful touches and details throughout that made our stay a joy. The layout of the house is exceptional, from the kitchen, so bright and functional, to the location of the various bedrooms. Sitting on the porch for lunch was so lovely, and we always felt that our privacy was respected. The house is a very short walk to Camden's exquisite library and beautiful harbor. Mountain trails terminate right next to the house. While Jen's pictures gave a great sense of the house, the actual experience was even better. We look forward to being there again, and thank Jen for her generous hospitality.

Our stay this year was just as delightful and comfortable as it was a year ago. The house is a beautifully preserved 19th century captain’s house with attractive furnishings and pictures, and plenty of room for the four of us. The kitchen is well laid out and superbly equipped. George is an attentive and friendly host; we appreciated that he made a special effort to meet us and we enjoyed our conversation with him.

This was perfect and exactly what we needed. There are quite a few stairs to be aware of, but it was expressed clearly in the listing so we weren't surprised. There is also no central air (which we found it is common for Maine) and we just happened to come at the hottest time. However, the window units were placed strategically and we never felt uncomfortable. The host was amazing at responding quickly to texts and answering our questions. We also couldn't find the grill that was listed on the description and the host brought one over asap so we could grill out for dinner. And the last added bonus is that it was walking (a little far, but walkable) to all the downtown restaurants and water front, but even closer was the best seafood place we went to right across the street, Claws!! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a clean place to stay.

I really enjoyed the hospitality room. It was great to arrive and use the room for hot drinks and snacks that were free. It was good to sit down there after our long trip and relax before heading up to our room. I also enjoyed meeting the manager and cleaner. It gave it a personal touch. The location was very convenient because there was an open restaurant next door.

Perfect studio. Used the jetted tub, nice and relaxing. Lots of extras (new toiletries, coffee, filters, sugar, etc.) much appreciated and used. The view, esp at sunrise, was stunning. Quiet neighbors. The beach store (pizza, sandwiches, salads, coffee and more) was very good. Just down stairs and one building over. (get there early for their muffins) I would certainly stay here again.

My husband and I, and our two pups had a fantastic time in the Carriage House for a week. Part of a breathtaking private/secret compound on the water…with the most incredible private tidal pool. The place is so authentic, which is what we love about staying in ME when we can escape. We were so blessed to find Margaret’s place last minute. Margaret’s mother, Sally, and her husband were in the main Kate’s house. So so sweet they were to us and our girls. A dog paradise. We are foodies. Plenty of good restaurants around - just a few minutes to the adorable village of Stonington. Around the corner is one of the best restaurants in the country - Aragosta. We can’t wait to return…hopefully, in the Fall. A trip we will always remember. Thank you, Margaret & Family.

I can’t say enough great things about Paula and Russ’s place and their kindness! The house is perfect, felt even more warm, inviting and new than in the photos, and the loft space is very spacious. Accessing the home was seamless, even though we arrived later in the evening. The couch, beds, and sofa bed were all so comfortable, and the house so peaceful, everyone slept well. We didn’t use the kitchen with so many activities and great local food, but it was really cute. We were in town for a wedding and found the home’s location and Camden in general just a perfect place to visit. We were so close to everything we left the car in place and walked to our favorite coffee shop, the amphitheater overlooking the harbor, bars and restaurants, all within 8 minutes. If you come in warm weather, you will appreciate the new temp control units in each room to keep you cool, which is rare for the area! We loved our stay so much we would definitely stay here again, and hope to on a longer visit!
