Before I review this beautiful residence, I have to say a word about Emmie and Willie. They are the sweetest, kindest couple, you will ever wish to meet. Not only kind, but also very smart. Emmie being an artist, among other things, and Willie, a master builder, and a rugby fanatic! We have been fortunate enough, to have visited this beautiful area a few times, but this time it was special. Emmie and Willie’s home, is perched way above the town of Knysna, with a gorgeous view, that spreads for miles. There are 4 bedrooms down below Emmie and Willie’s living quarters, with a private entrance. Ample room for a group or a large family, to stay. You have everything you need to make your stay more enjoyable, including a refrigerator, microwave, cooker, washing machine and tumble dryer. This place really is the real deal, and your home, away from home! To top it off, they have a gorgeous dog, named Mia. We had a fantastic stay at Samantha’s place, everything was just perfect with lots of love for the details. It’s super quiet and nice, perfect to relax. Hot tub was amazing and we could see so many stars😍 Definitely coming back!

Wir haben die Zeit in Malcoms Haus von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute genossen. Malcom ist ein fantastischer Gastgeber, der uns schon vorab über alles bestens informiert hat und immer erreichbar war. Vor Ort wird man von Peter betreut, der ebenfalls immer erreichbar war und uns bestens unterstützt und jede Menge Tipps gegeben hat. Eine so gute Kommunikation hatten wir bisher noch bei keiner Unterkunft. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend in Sedgefield und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Es ist sehr geräumig und sauber. Der Außenbereich ist einfach super, mit Grill und Whirlpool, was wir beides nicht genutzt haben, und einer Feuerstelle, die wir wirklich genossen haben. Wir können dieses Haus jedem empfehlen und würden auch jederzeit wieder buchen.

Tatum’s place exceeded our expectations. So beautifully decorated and homely . Instantly relaxed in the warm plunge pool and such a special treat to relax in the hot tub under the stars and Milky Way at night. Tatum was on site and very supportive and just wished we could have stayed longer. The beautiful Knysna golf club was 2 minutes down the road and so friendly. Thank you so much Tatum hope to be back .

We had an exceptional stay at Adrie's place! The moment I walked in, we felt right at home. The space was immaculately clean and modern. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, from comfortable bedding to the wonderful jacuzzi and pool. The location was perfect, with easy access to the famous Belvidere Manor/Bell pub & restaurant and fantastic 'Oak Leaf' artisan bistro, offering delightful coffee selection, breakfast & brunch. Other amenities are also within easy reach - as Kynsna is only 8 minute drive. What truly made our stay stand out, however, was the attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the host. From the clear instructions to the warm welcome, it was clear that they genuinely cared about their guests' experience. Thanks Adrie and Nevile for making our stay special ❤ I would highly recommend Adrie's place to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay.

Beatrice provided a beautiful stay, a home away from home. She was very proactive with messages and checked we had got in safe etc ☺️ the setting is beautiful with good security and activities for younger kids. Knysna is within walking distance but we chose to drive for personal reasons but everything was easy enough to find. The complex is very peaceful and we enjoyed the space so much! Highly recommend ✨ thank you Beatrice for a wonderful stay

Just wow! This place is just something else. Luxurious bedrooms with a balcony where you can see a beautiful view of the ocean, spacious living room, well-equipped kitchen. You can see and hear the birds around you. There was everything we needed and more. Marianna was so helpful, kind and made everything clear. It’s a short walk to the supermarket and the beach. Definitely staying here when I come back to Wilderness!

What an amazing stay. The house was more than expected and we were definitely spoiled. I can highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back. Facilities were amazing and very clean.

Our stay at this property was outstanding! The hosts were amazing—warm, welcoming, and incredibly hospitable. The home was beautifully maintained, and having an amazing housekeeper, Elise, made everything even more convenient. The cozy, warm atmosphere, combined with breathtaking views, created a truly special experience. It was well-equipped, comfortable, and made our trip even more enjoyable. We loved everything about it and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Knysna!

Thesen Island is a great place to stay…..safe , secure and within easy reach of local amenities. Lianne was an excellent host, always on hand to answer any questions and help make our stay most enjoyable. Highly recommended.

HIDDEN GEM!! Immaculately maintained place. It's so quiet and private, in a beautiful garden. I enjoyed the chic living experience in this "tiny house". Lots of outdoor space too.

Sooo much better than pictured! This house is a dream! The views are amazing, especially from the hottub :-) We could see the improvements that were made, eg the bathroom. Only thing I would add is curtains, as I’m a light sleeper. But hey, now you wake up to a beautiful sunrise, so it’s not that bad ;) We’d loved to stay here longer!

We were looking for a spot off the beaten track and away from the standard places on the coast for a night. What a fantastic find! The hosts were great, place was spotless and beautifully decorated. It was a real gem for us to sit back and do nothing for the night

Heerlijk verblijf gehad! Prachtige ligging met paradijselijke wandeling naar de rivier op eigen terrein. Benny en zijn honden zorgen voor een aangename ervaring. We komen terug!

Der Blick auf die Lagune ist fantastisch, sowohl von dem Esstisch, der Lounge und dem hot tube. Er wurde jeden Tag auf Wunsch aufgeheizt. Tasha ist superfreundlich, hat unzählige Empfehlungen für den Aufenthalt in Knysna und reagiert auf Rückfragen äußerst schnell. Man kann die komplette Terrasse mit einer transparenten Jalousie vor Wind und Wetter schützen. Wir haben uns super wohlgefühlt. Da wir nicht gekocht haben, haben wir uns die Küchenausstattung nicht näher angesehen, es scheint aber alles da zu sein. Man könnte auf der Terrasse einen großen Holzkohlegrill nutzen und einer kleiner Gasgrill ist auch vorhanden. Parkplatz vor der Tür, sehr angenehm. Herzlichen Dank an Tasha
