The Montra Resort is a very comfortable, well-priced hotel. The rooms are huge and the double king-sized beds are vast! We were made very welcome and the staff loaded us and our bags onto the complimentary taxi/pick-up to the ferry pier - a short distance away. There is a very relaxing-looking pool, central within the complex. We did not dine at the hotel but there are ample quality restaurants within short walking distance. We would particularly recommend the cafe/ice-cream bar "This is a book!" with a very welcoming hostess.

Notre séjour chez Didier a été incroyable. La maison est un véritable petit paradis avec une vue à couper le souffle. L’hôte a été très réactif dès que nous avions besoin, je recommande fortement ! Merci beaucoup pour le séjour :)

Great house, very chill location. Mountains and jungle with a beautiful view. Fun place, with nice hammocks, a basic kitchen, some games available, great Bluetooth speakers. Host is a great guy!

Ich verbrachte mit meinen Eltern 2 Nächte hier und wir waren von dem Ausblick wirklich sprachlos. Und auch der Rest der Villa war super (klar, an manchen Stellen sieht man, dass sie etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist). Man könnte sich gut daran gewöhnen, dort für längere Zeit zu wohnen. Auch das Personal vor Ort war sehr freundlich, hat aber fast kein Englisch gesprochen. Philipp war aber sehr gut zu erreichen und organisierte Taxis für uns. Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass man sich nicht im Zentrum der Insel befindet, dafür ist es aber sehr ruhig dort. Klare Empfehlung auf jeden Fall! 👍

La maison est vraiment géniale j’ai adoré !! Attention c’est pas évident d’accès en scooter et à pied il faut être préparé pour la route 😂 mais sinon c’est super agréable de séjourner dans cette maison❤️

Great stay! Really cool place and within walking distance to lots of great restaurants, the beach, etc. We loved the rooftop hangout spot, especially good on a couple rainy afternoons we had!

Where to start? The welcome was simply perfect, thanks to Franzie. Everything was flawless, from the warm reception to the organization of the motorbike for the stay, arranged by the host’s trusted partner. As for the villa, everything was perfect from A to Z. It had everything needed for an amazing stay total privacy, a fully equipped space, and beautifully decorated with plenty of plants. The lack of air conditioning wasn’t an issue at all; after 24 hours, you almost forget you even need it. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. For those who aren’t comfortable riding a motorbike, taxis are an option. The slope leading to the villa is indeed steep, but it’s no problem at all with two people on a 150cc motorbike. We will definitely come back !

The stay at Philips Villa’s has been pleasantly surprising, just like being at home. Good towel service. There was coffee pods and drinks in the fridge, not included but reasonably priced. The Asian lady who welcomes you upon arrival is very nice.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli avec ma famille dans cette maison. Tout était super, la maison, le service digne d un grand hôtel avec les avantages d une maison. Le ménage était impeccable tous les jours, le personnel et le gestionnaire très réactif. Service de location de scooter très réactif. Si nous revenons à Koh tao, nous reviendrons dans cette maison sans hésiter.

We had a great stay, the views are exactly like the pictures! Whilst the villa is up in the hills, you are not limited as the host arranges taxis for you whenever requested. It was really easy to get around! The air conditioning could do with updating, it worked well but was not as cold as we would have liked it, I think this is because of the glass doors/windows which heat up the villa but also provide the panoramic views!
