We only spent one day on Teshima Island, but our stay was absolutely incredible thanks to our amazing host, Kureishi. He went above and beyond, from picking us up, driving us to our reservations, and helping us understand how to rent bikes, which is the main way to get around the island. Thanks to him, we were able to explore without any stress and got everywhere on time. He took great care in showing us how to use everything in the house, welcomed us with refreshing drinks, and made us one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in Japan. He was always smiling and radiated warmth throughout our visit. We also loved that he showed us his collection of really cool cars - a fun and personal touch. He communicated everything clearly, making us feel comfortable and cared for every step of the way. We truly hope to come back and stay again in the future. Highly, highly recommend!

Excelente lugar para quedarse, el parque memorial queda a un par de cuadras. El espacio es tal cual se describe, muy espacioso para un apartamento japonés! Muy cómodo y ameno, los futones fueron muy cómodos para 4 personas. Si eres muy sensible a los ruidos, puede que el streetcar que pasa por la avenida te incomode un poco. Volvería sin lugar a dudas! Perfect place to stay in Hiroshima

Outstanding location, comfortable bed, clean and private… perfect place for exploring Hiroshima. Did I mention the location? Fantastic! Thank you!

I would highly recommend this place:) very cozy and nicely designed. Perfect stay for families, with the little boulder wall and hammork at the bedroom (perfect for children), and the nice private onsen which we enjoyed so much to relax ourselves from the trip! The host is very responsive on Line:) Much appreciated the details and the design of the inferior of the house, we can’t find ourselves more comfortable with:) And won’t forget to highlight the Izakaya right next door, the food taste so good!! And foods were directly delivered to the house after we made orders there, we love it!!

A fabulously located place near the main Shinkansen station, plus a network of trams outside your door (flat fee 240 yen per journey or 700 per day, unlimited). We loved riding the trams (pay as you get off). Really easy to find and get inside (coded lockbox with key). Superb attention to detail: loads of great tips, maps, personal touches and handy things like hooks as well as plenty of towels plus a washer/dryer. It was up a few flights of stairs above a ramen restaurant. There are two bedrooms (2 x queen bed in each). The kitchen, while small, was highly usable with lots of appliances (microwave, grill, kettle, hob). There is also aircon (it was hot when we first arrived). There's a TV in one of the bedrooms. We would have loved to have stayed longer in Hiroshima (we only did two nights). It's such a beautiful city. It was so sad to learn more about the history at the memorial museum & peace park. The whole place does feel extremely peaceful in general. Highly recommended

I would give 6 stars if I could - Extremely friendly hosts, very beautiful traditional guest house and the island is amazing as well. You will meet many interesting and kind people staying at the guest house as well. I would recommend joining in on the shared meals too, it's a lot of fun helping out with them and eating communally.

We hebben ons thuis gevoeld in het appartement van Chie & Hide. Het is een ruimte in klassieke Japanse stijl. Het heeft twee slaapgedeeltes en de sfeer is prettig. Dank aan Chie &Hide voor hun gastvrijheid en goede zorg.

Great house in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts also address our issue very quickly.

Our stay at the farmhouse was truly wonderful. The home was clean, spacious, and had the warm, comforting feel of visiting grandparents in the countryside. When we arrived, the hosts were incredibly kind, arranging a taxi to the house for us. One of the hosts greeted us, gave us a tour, and explained the house rules. They even left us local ramen and fresh eggs, which was such a thoughtful touch. We were lucky to visit during a season when we could also enjoy rice grown right next door — and it was absolutely delicious! The entire stay was peaceful and cozy. Falling asleep to the sound of frogs croaking felt straight out of a fairytale. I highly recommend this place, not just for the beautiful property, but also for the warmth and kindness of the hosts and the nearby community. On the day of our departure, the hosts surprised us with lovely gifts and again arranged a taxi back to the train station. We truly couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Très agréable séjour dans cette charmante maison située dans une mignonne petite rue. Le logement est spacieux et confortable. On se sent vite chez soi. Il est à moins de 20mn à pied de la gare et des ferries pour les îles. Les hôtes ont été super aimables, très réactifs et nous on donné de bonnes recommandations sur les restaurants alentour.

The house is nicely decorated with thoughtful touches. The host was very responsive and welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. The train can be heard when it passes but it didn't wake us up at all. Highly recommended!

amazing place the only thing is that it says in the walls that this place is where time flies but personally and my favourite time is where time stops, where you meditate just by waking up with that view

我想要給十顆星！那裡的一切：自然環境、窯房、木屋、餐廳、各種體驗都非常迷人，短短兩天經驗了非常豐富美好的旅程～ Khaki是很棒的房東、陶藝家、生活藝術家，在行前就貼心地提供許多旅遊及體驗的資訊，也都很熱心詳細的回覆問題、提供許多協助。他親切友善細膩、到車站接送我們，沿路介紹這個城市，還帶我們到一個可以俯瞰鄰近島嶼與海洋的美麗景點，可以感覺到房東熱愛那片土地，想把很多關於那裡的美好的事物介紹給我們。 第一天我們在小屋旁的可愛餐廳享用午餐，餐點好吃、老闆非常可愛，很熱情親切的跟我們聊天。下午我們參加陶藝課程，傍晚我們散步到超市買晚餐燒烤的食材，晚上在星光、自然的圍繞下烤肉，一切舒服放鬆享受。 非常推薦陶藝課程，我們的語言能力有限，但Khaki耐心溫柔的嘗試用更簡單易懂的字彙、示範，引導我們如何優雅溫柔的創造一件陶器，非常美好難忘的體驗，讓我喜歡上陶藝，甚至回國後開始尋找陶藝課程，但我想那樣美好的氛圍，是揉和了那裡的環境、人事物而呈現的一種獨特。 第二天我們坐巴士去倉敷美觀地區觀光，巴士站離房源非常近，走幾分鐘就到了，雖然需要將近一個小時的車程，但大源美術館館藏豐富、可以一次看到那麼多名家作品非常值得。 我希望下次還有機會去拜訪Wasyugama幾天，我想我會只是待在那裡發呆、喝咖啡、散步、上陶藝課程⋯⋯慢慢經驗品嚐那裡的寧靜美好。

Ce logement est spacieux, extrêmement bien entretenu et à proximité de beaucoup de lieux clés à Hiroshima. 20 min à pied de la gare, 20 min à pied du Memorial Park, 15 min à pied du centre de shopping. Il y a de nombreux konbinis à proximité ainsi que des transports en commun. Michinari est réactif et arrangeant pour l'entrée dans le logement (même si celle-ci se fait de façon autonome). Il y a deux chambres, un espace cuisine et salle à manger, un petit espace façon tatami traditionnel, une salle de bain, des toilettes et même une machine à laver. De la lessive, du savon, du shampoing, du démêlant, ainsi que des serviettes propres, sont à disposition. Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour, nous avons beaucoup apprécié nous reposer dans ce bel appartement !

Absolute stunning accomodation! Not only was the whole house (especially bathroom and kitchen) highly modern and usefully equipped, but everything had its charm and we instantly felt like being home :) We were even allowed to borrow two bikes for free! In retrospect we wished we would have stayed longer in Kōchi to enjoy our stay a bit more. ほんとにありがとうございます！^_^

Great place to stay. We travelled by car and the location is convenient for us travelling to the attractions nearby. The house itself is a piece of history itself , very spacious and you feel travelling back in time. Host is super friendly and explains everything in detail how to use the facility. Highly recommend if you are after a special place to stay :)

A rural setting in the mountains. The annex we stayed in was at the back of Hiromi’s house. There is not much nearby but we had a car so it was easy to get to the supermarket. There is not much of a kitchen but there is a few things. The house is old and well maintained. Steep stairs to the bed space upstairs. There is a steel works next door but was interesting and not noisy. It was very clean and we felt comfortable. Thank you Hiromi!
