Wonderful stay in Apartment Menguela. Exceptionally clean, large living space, 2 large bedrooms and a wonderfully spacious balcony with table and chairs. The sea view was beautiful and only 2 minutes (down steps) to the front with its many restaurants. There are boats to take you into Dubrovnik (€20 return) and the bus station is a few minutes walk (€4 return to Dubrovnik). Cavtat is a beautiful place and to be honest we were glad we chose to stay there. The walk around the headland and to the beach were lovely. Antun and his wife were very nice, kind people. Thanks for the homemade pastries and bottle of wine. We will be back!🤩 Lesley, Keith, Lorna and Stuart x

Wonderful place with friendly and helpful host who allowed us to check in early. They very kindly let us check out late and drove us to the airport for free during a storm. The place is easy to find with a beautiful view, and the bus to Dubrovnik is quick with the bus stop situated opposite the flat.

This was our first time in Croatia and I’m so glad we chose Cavtat ( was recommended) . The apartment ticked every box for us ,Marina & Ivo were so friendly and helped to make our trip amazing. We used their transfer offer to and from airport, less stress waiting on taxis. Will definitely return and recommend. Thank you . Ps . Marina’s apple strudel is 👌🏻

Mira’s home is probably the most stunning Airbnb I have booked so far in my travels. The view from the main balcony is magical. Mira was a great host to us, she also gave us complimentary homemade drinks for our stay.

We really enjoyed our week in the apartment. It is beautifully done and a good size for 2. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking down to the harbour. The well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed. We loved Cavtat itself, reasonably quiet towards the end of October, with plenty of nice restaurants still open. It took us about 5 minutes to walk down to the front. It was easy to get to Dubrovnik by bus or boat - we did one trip on each - but it was nice to escape back to the much quieter atmosphere of Cavtat. And of course Aldo was a friendly and welcoming host.

Me and my 70year old mum had a great week at Markos house. The way is directly by the sea and you have to step over some rocks and might get wet if it's too windy.Also there are many stairs if you want to go to the store so you gotta be quite fit. Just be prepared for an adventure. If you're there, its beautiful! If it's not too windy you can easily swim directly in front of the house,the water is clear and you can watch the stars at night and listen to only the waves and nature,really peaceful. I've stayed at many airbnbs before and met many nice hosts but I have to say Marko was just perfect.He picked us up at the airport by car and got us and our luggage to the house by boat.Went grocery shopping for us 2 times.Picked us up at the middle of the beach and got us home when we got lost on our way back on our first evening.Always easy to reach.Always really nice.He really did everything to make it as beautiful as possible for us.Thank you so much, Marko! Excellent little apartment with everything you might need for your stay. Good advice about the local area and easy instructions regarding the accommodation. Beautiful sea views from the balcony and nice communal pool. The area itself is great with shops,excellent restaurants and amenities all within walking distance or short taxi drive away,and Dubrovnik easily reachable by car or boat. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay!

I entirely agree with the other reviews. It is exactly as described. Fantastic location about 30yds then 38 steps above a bakery/Supermarket in the old town. Amazing view of the old town and harbour from the balcony. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, excellent shower over bath. We had a hire car, and Ivan met us, drove us from where we parked to the flat and carried our bags in! Parking in Cavtat is the only potential problem if you have a hire car so ask Ivan for advice. We took the bus to Dubrovnik because it's even worse there, and the bus is easy! Fantastic place to stay and thoroughly recommended.
