Really nice place with a lot of room. Photos were representative of the site. Easy access to the lake, Mangakino village, club and 4 square. Ilana was quick to respond when I couldn't work the dang stove top (induction top, not my specialty). Great little fire pit, the marshmallow roasting was a hit. Also, the corner section, with the deck facing the footpath makes it a nice social place to be. Had a chat or a wave to a few locals (heading to or coming back from the club!). Also, has great views of the rugby fields, where apparently a few different clubs practice. Overall, great place to stay, very clean and easy to use and helpful host.

Our stay at Vicki's place was simply wonderful! The house is beautifully appointed, with a stylish and comfortable interior that made us feel right at home. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare our own meals, and the living area was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Vicki was incredibly kind and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a seamless and enjoyable stay. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a tranquil and beautiful retreat.

Great place real handy location and private with the reserve out the front. Easy access to the lake. Very cosy place. Beds were very comfy

Very beautiful location. A rustic but super comfortable space. The bed was brilliant and the house was lovely and warm, especially with the fire going! The fire heated outdoor bath was sensational and we loved relaxing down by river edge. We’ll be back!

The view is amazing!! We loved our stay here so much we want to come back! The place was better than expect with the most beautiful view and deck to enjoy it on. Ross was very friendly and helpful with lots of clear instructions. The place felt like it could have been our own with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. Thanks for letting us stay.

Such a lovely place to stay, was really clear on how to find the place. Was great being able to come and go with three of us stay, plenty of parking and the view was really lovely. Enjoyed having our morning coffee on the deck, would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.
