It was a very pleasant experience, the room was located in a very convenient place, you can find supermarket, nice restaurants all in walking distance. The house was clean and cozy, Selma was so nice and always replied in a very short period of time~ will come back again if it is possible~ 5-star recommend!

Hildur's place was fantastic!!! Everything was great, from before booking to checkout. Hildur was able to accommodate our early check-in, which was very appreciated. She was very responsive and friendly before our stay and during our stay. One of our guided tours got cancelled and Hildur was able to give us some last minute suggestions of what else we could do. She also let us know when the Northern Lights were visible so we could see them! Hildur's place was very, very clean and had everything we needed. I highly suggest reading the information she provides about the space before you start using anything - it was extremely helpful! The location was great, right by the water in a very safe neighborhood. We rented a car and were able to drive in and out of the city center, but it is definitely walkable. It was overall a great stay with a fantastic host! I highly recommend!

Helga was very welcoming and responsive to any questions I had. She reached out to offer rain gear as there were a few rainy days. The area was great - it was close to everything (very walkable and easy to get around) but was in a quiet area. The apartment was comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay again for another trip to Iceland.

We've stayed here twice now and again it's absolutely amazing, the scenery, the apartment, the host all amazing and nothing to complain about. one of the best places I've ever stayed at.

Me, my wife and our son stayed at Ingiberg’s place for 6 nights on our trip to Iceland. The apartment was very easy to find and we were able to park the car in the allocated bay (inside the garage). It is slightly outside of the main town but providing you don’t mind a walk (35 minutes) like us then it is not a problem at all. The apartment was nicely furnished and had everything we needed. Tv and sound system were great for the evenings. Ingiberg was very responsive on messages and even alerted us when the northern lights were on show. Would definitly recommend staying at the apartment to anyone visiting Iceland.

My family and I (5 adults) had a great stay there. Hjalmar and his wife greeted us when we arrived at the house. He was very responsive and flexible with our check-in. The place was clean and comfortable. It had everything. We would stay there again. Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful space in the best part of town! Had a minor miscommunication when we first arrived, but it was quickly and easily resolved. 100% recommend. Certainly didn’t hurt that we saw the Northern Lights from the bedroom balcony!! Absolutely perfect stay!!

We had an extremely enjoyable and relaxed stay here for over a week. It's perfect for 2 people who are focused on seeing the sites of Iceland. A great location only 15 minutes south of Reykjavik and easy to jump on the road for day trip adventures. The view out the window of the harbor is wonderful sitting on the couch at the end of a long day of adventure. Then, if tired don't worry you have 3 nice restaurants very quick walking distances from you. Snaedis provided a thoughtful welcome basket and beers for us, 3 different times during our stay! We also had a grocery store just a minute down the road that made things easy. I can't say enough good things about the hospitality and highly recommend!

Bryndis and her family were wonderful hosts the place was close to some restaurants and the water. It is located in a peaceful section of Reykjavik and a great home base for activities around the capital. It is clean, spacious and the hosts were very responsive.

A fantastic homely place to stay with our family including teenage grandchildren. Great local supermarket and bus service which meant we didn't need a car. Superb views including across the bay to see the erupting volcano! The BBQ and the hot tub were fabulous as was the weather. Outdoor living was just as good as indoors. Everything we needed in the kitchen was available including a well stocked fridge on our arrival. Plenty bedding and towels to facilitate changing everything during our stay.

Fantastic family accommodation. Beautiful views & stylish but practical interior. Lots for kids to do inside the house (for bad weather days!). Would highly recommend and we hope to stay there again if we come back to Iceland in the future!

We had such a great stay at Vive’s. Firstly, the house is exactly as described. All the rooms, and more Importantly the beds were super clean and very comfortable. The house is spacious and located in a very beautiful and serene neighborhood which is like a 5 to 7 min drive to downtown Reykjavik. We walked along the beautiful bay that’s literally right behind the house, and kids enjoyed playing at a cute playground right next to the bay. Vive had several nice toys which kept the kids entertained at home. The hot tub was great to spend late evenings with friends with a few drinks. Vive was super responsive and helped with any questions we had! I would definitely recommend her place and would stay here again when I come back again to Iceland!

Very nice and cozy family cottage near lake Thingvallir. Small kitchen, but great outdoor gas bbq. Friendly and communicative host. We definitely would stay here again on a next visit.

If you are looking to stay near the National Park and enjoy a private, incredibly quite relaxing trip, this is the most amazing choice. For us this home was the perfect space, incredible design, stunning views with impeccable lighting. We needed to rest and relax while exploring the vast landscape of Iceland and this was beyond perfect. We will absolutely be back.

If you are going to Iceland, I can not say enough about this space. I got lost the first night, which was my fault and I forgot where I put the code to the lock box. The space was gorgeous, I saw the northern lights from the outside deck, we were on the water, the sunsets were stunning. You could have fit 4 easily, but if you have children, the couches where very comfortable so you could fit more. You had every amenity you could need (well, I could need) I could go on and on, but suffice it to say, it was perfect for us, and the hosts were great. Thank you for a wonderful lodging for our stay.

We stayed wishing to catch the Northern Lights and we were lucky enough to do so each night and be there for a huge solar storm. We ventured out the first night and after that realized we were able to stay comfy at our airbnb and see them both in the front yard and backyard. The house was spacious and our children 7 & 1 loved the books and toys available. We were offered a portable crib and high chair which were convenient. There were plenty of novels for adults and a variety of books on Iceland. There is a washer and large drying rack, dishwasher, and full kitchen which was wonderful since it is a serene spot you can relax and not run down the road 15 minutes for food or coffee. I enjoyed walking the road to the church and admiring the horses next door. The location is remote and going to parks or the city required an hour drive. Our host was gracious and extended our check out which was helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit Blick direkt auf die Bucht. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt benötigt, man kann es auch für länger aushalten. Da wir ein Auto hatten, kamen wir auch schnell überall hin, die öffentliche Erreichbarkeit können wir nicht beurteilen. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

The Harbor Apartment was perfect to visit Reykjavik. It’s clean, comfortably furnished, nicely decorated, and wonderfully warm and inviting on a cold January visit to Iceland. The location was unbeatable, just across the street from the scenic old harbor and near plenty of excellent restaurants and steps from a small market for your daily needs. The host provided voluminous tips on getting around and responded quickly with a work-around when we discovered that the Internet network listed in the check-in instructions was down. We would definitely stay here again. Just one small caveat for light sleepers—the bedroom window is located next to the ground floor elevator and you can occasionally hear the voices of people coming and going, or stomping the snow off their shoes before they get in the elevator.

Rùnar’s home is perfect to rest after an icelandic adventure. It’s warm, comfortable and nice, with an amazing ocean view (we had the chance to contemplete an eruption too!) and good markets near by. There is a delicious little fish market too, at few steps. Reykjavìk is easily reachable by walking (half an hour) or with bus and Seltjarnarnes is a peaceful and welcoming neighborhood. Rùnar and his family are helpful and kind. Thank you for sharing your home!

This was the perfect place to stay for a quick vacation to Reykjavik! Really nice location with ocean views, 2 balconies, very close (driving) to main areas/ downtown. Some stores and restaurants in walking distance. Host was very flexible and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

Snorri and Svava’s Airbnb was so cozy, clean, and in a great location near the city and next to the water. They were so responsive and friendly! I would stay again!

Unnur’s place was absolutely spectacular, and she was an exceptional communicator. She went out of her way to ensure I had everything I needed, including a charging adapter upon arrival and extra towels for my comfort. Her communication was truly outstanding.

Wonderful, tastefully furnished apartment in the heart of downtown Reykjavic with access to restaurants, nightlife, tours, supermarkets...everything the heart desires! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

My partner and I had a very enjoyable stay in Reykjavík. Jason was a brilliant host. He was very responsive and kindly granted us an extension to our checkout time so we could squeeze one more excursion before heading home. A wonderful cosy apartment with lots near by. We will certainly miss being there.
