If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, this place is absolutely fantastic! From the moment you start driving in, you’re greeted by breathtaking sights of giraffes, kudus, and zebras roaming freely—truly a magical experience. The setting is serene, with beautiful landscapes all around, making it the perfect escape. One of the highlights was the stunning sunrise, with lovely bird sounds. To top it all off, Kim and Tim are incredible hosts, making sure everything is just perfect. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves nature and a warm, welcoming atmosphere!

Die Unterkunft war ideal, bevor es am nächsten Tag in den Kruger NP ging. Die Gastgeberin war sehr lieb, der Check-in lief ganz flexibel und problemlos. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt! :)

My stay was perfect! Perfect location, clean, comfortable. My family and I loved it and we are definitely coming back

Christine was an absolutely incredible host from the moment my booking was confirmed, she was in contact with me , advising on the best routes to take and giving some tips on what to do when there. Her place is situated right on Crocodile River, we got to witness a family of elephants drinking water, a pod of hippos saying hi to use everyday and not to mention the daily visits we would get from the resident animals. Her place has a wonderful aircon to beat the humidity the Kruger and a pool, and all necessities, not to mention a booklet with information about the area, and where youre most likely to see certain animals. It is a 15 minute drive away from Crocodile bridge gate entrance and nearby restaurants. A wonderful place and host. Will definitely return.

Wir hatten nur für eine Nacht gebucht. Alles war top, im Kühlschrank zwei gekühlt Flaschen Wasser und eine Milch. Kaffee, Zucker, Tee waren auch vorhanden. Am nächsten Morgen hat Frieda uns noch gute Tips für die weitere Reise gegeben und wir durften durch die Papajafelder laufen und uns Papajafelder mitnehmen. Schade, dass wir nur eine Nacht dableiben konnten.

Leandi is a friendly and accommodating host. The place is very comfortable and spacious, and has a lovely view of the bush and river from the veranda. We even heard a bushbaby calling out during the evening. Perfect for a stop over. The shower pressure is wonderful. Thank you Leandi.

Giraffe's rest is so spacious and comfortable. Our family had a really relaxing stay. Chris and Janine were such gracious hosts and went the extra mile for everything. Their attention to the little details - from everything you could need in the kitchen (and welcoming rusks) to luxurious towels and crisp, fresh linen as well as easy to follow instructions for the TV - made our stay so enjoyable. If I could have given Giraffe's rest more than 5 stars I would have! Thank you Chris and Janine.

What an experience!!! The place is huge and the bathroom in the main room is crazy!! I sincerely recommend get a bag of food for the animals at the Savemor market… just throw some outside of the pool area and you’ll have lifetime memories… my kids loved it!!!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem wunderbaren Haus sehr genossen. Es öffnet sich hell und offen zur Natur hin und verbindet das Leben drinnen und draußen auf eine wunderschöne Weise. Der Einrichtungsstil war genau nach unserem Geschmack und es war alles vorhanden was wir für unseren Aufenthalt benötigt haben. Die Kommunikation mit Lizelle hat immer toll geklappt, sie hat uns bei allen Fragen sofort geholfen. Vielen Dank!

We had a fantastic stay at Celine's place! From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—close to local attractions yet tucked away enough to provide a peaceful and relaxing environment. Celine was an exceptional host, always responsive and attentive to any questions or needs we had during our stay.

We definitely enjoyed our stay here. Upon arrival, there were clear instructions about how to get in the house. We loved how spacious the house is. We were unfortunately welcomed by a scorpion in our bathroom, but our co-host (Cindy) quickly attended to it and after that all was good. The rooms are very big, each with their own en-suite bathroom. We particularly enjoyed spending time around the pool area, the weather was beautiful and we were surrounded by beautiful wildlife animals. Definitely worth every cent.

Absolutely & most probably the best stay in Marloth especially for a big family of 8. The place has very good space and all the animals come to the porch the entire day. Close by where all the water pools and slides and Spar is. Aircons always working even with loadshedding on a hot day the aircons just makes it breeze to be inside. Good wifi even for online gaming. Definitely worth every penny! Thank you Zakira for all your excellent service & hospitality!

I have stayed in HWE many times and Corkwood Villa is definitely the best choice! Such a stunning private property. It was the cleanest air B&B I have ever checked into. A modern kitchen with brand new appliances. The bedrooms all have ensuite bathrooms, with outdoor showers as well. The rooms are so cool at night with the fans and option of aircon and the house is decorated simply and beautifully. We will be back! We loved our stay!
