This was our second stay at African Art House and it was again very pleasurable. Very comfortable, friendly and accommodating house staff, Anina very responsive to any problems, short walk to the beach, easy access to transport, etc. Looking forward to stay #3, whenever that might be.

The location is perfect and staff are welcoming. We had an amazing time at the villa.

Amazing experience, we loved staying in Mikhail's house! You can feel and see the care put in every detail, both in the house and in the garden. The surrounding is peaceful while still being in the heart of Diani town with access to all main shops and restaurants. The compound has also a direct private access to the beach, well secured. The swimming pools are clean and great when travelling with children, sunbeds are comfortable and practical, and in the garden there are external showers and a bar space. The terrace is very cosy and perfect to spend quality time all together. The house is beautiful, with very spacious rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, very clean and with all the necessary space for your things. Esther, the lady managing the day-by-day stay, is very responsive and helpful in case of anything. We enjoyed our stay, we will definitely return. Totally recommended!

When you enter the bohemian house you feel right at home and don't want to leave ever again. Rama, the chef was also a highlight during our stay. Rama has always a smile on his face and prepared delicious food. 4 huge bedrooms, large pool, just a walk away from the beach ( through the gardens). We hope we can come back next year. Perfect communication with owner.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Haus in Diani! Das Haus ist wirklich ein Traum – sowohl innen als auch außen perfekt gepflegt. Axel, der Gastgeber, war äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich. Er war jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns mit tollen Empfehlungen und Tipps für die Umgebung versorgt. Man merkt, dass ihm das Wohl seiner Gäste am Herzen liegt. Das Grundstück ist eine wahre Oase der Ruhe, besonders für die Gegend, und der große Pool wurde jeden Tag nur für uns gereinigt – er war stets makellos! Auch die gesamte Anlage ist unglaublich sauber und gut gepflegt. Besonders beruhigend war die 24-Stunden-Bewachung des Grundstücks, was für ein zusätzliches Gefühl der Sicherheit sorgte. Wir können dieses Haus und die Gastfreundschaft von Axel absolut empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Wir fühlten uns wie Zuhause! Danke für deine Gastfreundschaft

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Galu Salama. Anni’s property is beautiful - very peaceful and quiet, away from the touristy areas of Diani. We spent hours in the immaculately clean pool. We slept well in the rooms that were spotless and cool thanks to the air conditioning. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with cooking supplies. The housekeeper, Nancy, welcomed us with fresh fruits and made us feel right at home. The house manager, Renson, took care of all our needs - from coordinating tuktuks for transport to sourcing and serving us fresh coconuts! Our kids enjoyed asking Renson all about coconuts and the mini lesson they got about the types of coconuts and its use in local cuisine. Thank you Anni for hosting us - we hope to visit again in the future if we are in Diani again!

Good location (10min walk to the beach) and very peaceful. Kiko (the host) is very friendly and responds quickly to all queries. We had a plate of pasta and fruits waiting for us, which made our first night there super easy. Eric (chef) and the rest of the staff were also very attentive and provided a great service. And if you prefer to cook, the kitchen is well equipped. I'd recommend!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay. From the moment I walked through the door, it felt like a home away from home. The space is beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that show how much care and attention the host puts into hosting. The bed was incredibly comfortable, which made for restful nights after days of exploring. One of my favorite things about the place was how bright and welcoming it felt—natural light pours in during the day, and in the evening it’s cozy and peaceful. The host was gracious, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout my stay. Every detail, from check-in to check-out, was smooth and easy, and their warmth and hospitality truly made this visit special. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Gorgeous Place, Beautiful view of the Creek, Fort Jesus, and Old Town. The place was clean, checkin was smooth, And a lot of small touches that tell you Aly is an experienced host. Can't recommend high enough.

The pictures on the app are exactly the same,well maintained, neat ..It's a place worth spending your holiday...you can easily access the mall, different places in Nyali...My family loved the place...it's a to go home anytime am in Mombasa.

The apartment was just as described in the photos and the host was super friendly and helpful, always making sure I had everything I needed. The location was very convenient to where I needed to be, I definitely recommend it.

There’s a reason this place is a Guest Favorite!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Elodie’s place is quite literally the quintessential Diani Beach Swahili living experience. It’s literally a 3-4 minute walk to the beach and all the hotspots and sevicra and amenities. You wont need a car at all although it’s always a plus to explore further. From the architecture of the rooms and house to the warm welcoming we received. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking it! If an authentic comfortable experience is what you’re looking for - this is it. I have to also say the staff is the probably the best we’ve ever had in our travels. They helped us with everything we needed, gave us amazing guidance and info of the area. The cleaning was also great. Human touch is everything. The people you’ll meet too are also everything here, as you’ll see in many other reviews. We loved staying at Wangari's, the house and neighbourhood more than exceeded our expectations. The area is peaceful and easily accessible from the road and other amenities. Would 100% recommend.
