Fantastic Karoo getaway, peaceful and quiet, beautiful cottage with everything you need. Bit of a dirt road to get there, but I was able to do in a small car without any issues. I had to do some remote work while on the road and this was a great place to hunker down for a bit and do some work while experiencing a bit of Karoo life. No wifi but cellphone hotspot was fine for work, just had to move my phone around to get the best spot. Graaff-Reinet is about 1.5 hours away. Long stretches of empty road in this area, but bow and then you find a nice Farmstall next the road that is like a little oasis of Cape style food and culture, I loved it.

What a lovely stay in the bush. Quiet, isolated and relaxing, just what we were looking for. Rob is also a great host. We felt right at home. The clean, spacious and comfortable accommodation was lovely, but what we particularly enjoyed was the abundance of well kept dirt roads crisscrossing the farm - they made for excellent trail running while spotting numerous buck and birds. We would highly recommend a weekend at Copper Moon.

Me and my family enjoyed a mini vacation at Alexis rental. I must say it exceeded my expectations. Was not expecting to have cleaners to come in every morning to clean, plus such lovely staff members. And to top it off Alexis is an amazing host, easy to talk too, very friendly, and they have friendly dogs that just come chill with us every now and then. If you are looking for a quiet, safe and peacefully place to relax with family, Alexis's home is great place for you :) .

I had a wonderful stay on the farm. Very peaceful. The rain stopped and I was able to have a barbecue outside in the boma in the evening. Luke brought round some dry wood and welcomed me. Very comfortable bed in the main ensuite bedroom and i had a great night's sleep. I got up early to see if I could spot any wildlife in the nearby hills and got some great sightings of the local swallows as well as an eagle. I would love to return with friends for a longer stay next time

Set under an oak tree with views of the farm and hills, Hart cottage is a beautifully restored piece of history filled with fascinating heirlooms and period pieces. Alison was careful to ensure we had a good understanding of the layout of the property and we enjoyed the easy heritage walk and stroll up to the intake. She was also generous with tips on the nearby towns and kept us supplied with firewood so we stayed warm on the chilly winter's evenings

Amazing to find a place as peaceful and unspoilt as this. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on this beautiful farm. Even though the weather did not play along, we were still able to enjoy the jacuzzi, go for a few short walks around the farm and just enjoy the view across the lake. The cottage itself is beautiful and has been set up with everything you need. Perfect place to disconnect and reset.
