Spacious apartment with 1 master- & 2 twin bedrooms. The master and one twin have a great ocean view. Very spacious lounge & dining area, kitchen with Nespresso machine, washer & dryer. Weber BBQ on the very large patio. Just down the hill from the promenade. We had a great time, thank you Filip :) - a 1A-host!

Best stay ever. Everythjng was just perfect. We highly recommend staying here. Breathtaking views, friendly and informative hosts who went out of their way to assist us. Stunning decor. A real gem.

A beautiful, well-equipped apartment with stunning views of Trafalgar Bay. It is light, bright and benefits from a cool breeze being high on the seaside bluff. Cheryl is an attentive host and ably assisted by her dad who acts as caretaker for the apartment. He was kind and proactive connecting an inverter when there was notice of load reduction (it never occurred). The property’s common-use gardens are a tropical paradise and despite the BBQ being located adjacent to the pool area, we did not feel this was an unnecessary burden. We happily recommend this property and are likely to revisit it if we need accommodation in Trafalgar.

Mpume she's an superb host very friendly & calm. The place was spotless with everything and more, we even got lots of groceries, beach mats, kids play goodies home away from home. Very quiet area and close to the beach . Definitely we will refer to friends and visit again soon.

Jess’s place is paradise. This is our second visit and we are planning to return for a third visit next year. Jess is a marvelous host, and we were very well supported and cared for by her local staff. Gorgeous location. Very comfortable condo. This place is an Airbnb winner!

The is simple and beautifully clean. It is equipped with all the utensils and conveniences that you could need. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Beautiful spot, perfect for a family holiday! Easy access to the beach, wonderful entertainment area where watching kids in the pool is easy! Could do with a few hooks for towels etc outside by the pool and outside shower, but other than that small suggestion, we loved our stay!

Unforgettable family getaway! This house has everything for a perfect holiday — spacious, stylish, and has anything you might need and even more. Looks even better than on pictures. The pool and braai area became our favorite spot where we laughed, relaxed, and created the best family memories. The kids were absolutely happy. Safe, peaceful, and simply magical — Southbroom, we’ll be back!

We have found a new gem - Sovereign Sands in Blythedale. Away from the chaos of Ballito and surrounds, it was a breath of fresh air to be a short forest-walk away from a pristine uncrowded beach. It felt like Mozambique (beautiful quiet beaches, dune forest etc), but with the added convenience of Checkers Sixty60 delivering to the Estate. Blythedale itself is a simple town with not much to do, but The Estate is a short beach walk away from Grumpy's beach bar, which was awesome (and made us think of Mozam even more with their jugs of R&R). The accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable, and while we wished we had a sea-view - the sounds of the ocean were awesome. The kitchen was stocked with all the usual kitchen gadgets (even a Nespresso machine) you'd need. Elsie was communicative and friendly. The Estate felt very safe & well-run. The communal pool area boasted a very large pool that the kids loved (but the adults wished that there was some comfy seating around).

Peta's and Kelly's place is awesome! We enjoyed our coffee on the rooftop every morning. In the afternoon we'd walk along the beach. Their house is not super remote, other than what we first believed. (Nearest supermarkets are 10 minutes away by car toward Scottburgh.) Their home is nicely tucked into a group of secluded eco houses close to the beach. Internet speed is totally sufficient for Netflix or doing video calls. And, moreover, they are super responsive in case of any questions or literally anything else happens. We'll be looking forward to coming back. Thanks so much for letting uns stay at your place, guys!

A comfortable family home that is pet friendly, in a good location, close to a lot of amenities. Walking distance to nice swimming beaches. The outdoor room shower was well used and housekeeper was very good.

Delightful top floor apartment with uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean. Come rain or shine, the view is amazing! The aircon helped big time after hot and humid beach experiences. Bathrooms are modern and clean with Hans Grohe taps. UPS, torch and portable LED light came handy during power outage. Loved the extra touches of Cappuccino sachets with sugar and carton of milk. Gin & tonic glasses were a nice surprise and came in handy. Oh, and the Tupperware helped too! The Defy washing machine worked like a charm. Went home with clean laundry, yey! The gas braai gave some hassle, but was immediately attended to by host. Would replace Protex soaps in bathrooms with smaller glycerine soaps or liquid soap. All in all - a great experience and we’ll be back!

My family and I had the most splendid time in Bronwyn's well-appointed, spacious quayside apartment bosting magnificent views of the Durban coastline from every room and it's generous balcony, which are even better than the photos. Swimming and surfing beaches are just a few steps away. The area is amazingly quiet at night except for the soft whisper of the waves as they hit the shoreline, inducing the best sleep you're likely to have anywhere. Bronwyn and Mike are exceptional hosts and I do plan to return again soon.

Our stay at Ross’s place was awesome. Great location, and accomodation was exactly what we were hoping for. Ross was a great host who was responsive and made our stay extremely pleasant. Would book his place again in a heartbeat.

What a fantastic home by Sheena, the team is fantastic the home very comfortable with the best views. Modern home with a peaceful atmosphere and tranquility. Looking forward to returning.

Had a blast at Michelle’s place! The location is perfect! Right where you want to be! So many beaches to choose from right in front of you're doorstep. The unit had everything we needed! Parking got a bit tricky in peak time, but thats understandable. Highly recommend!!

We cannot recommend Jessica’s Airbnb enough and will look to stay there again the next time that we are in Durban. It is located directly on the promenade and a short walk from all of the key Umhlanga spots, in addition to being clean and well-decorated. Jessica herself was a great and responsive host.

Loren’s place was an amazing stay. Checking in was seamless. The hosts were very welcoming. Our long trip away from home with the children felt like home away from home. The place had all the amenities that you could ask for. The views are amazing! It was a great and pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to visit Ballito.
