Mic and Alison's place was a magical cottage retreat, perfect for a quiet weekend away to recharge the batteries. The cottage was beautiful like it was right out of small Tuscan village surround by beautiful gardens filled with birds. There was a large field just next dog where our dog could run and play for hours. Mic and Alison made us feel right at home making us handmade treats and inviting us for Woodfired pizza's one night. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a weekend away to escape the busy life. Thank you Mic and Alison we will definitely be back!

Lovely cozy cottage with perfect access to big bluff farm wedding venue. Clean and uncluttered which suited us well. Access along a paved footpath to the front door from the car park was adequate for my 92 year old mother to walk. Maybe some instructions to work the TV would have been useful but the host was very responsive to help.

My husband & I had a lovely stay at The Haven ,extremely clean & great facilities, everything you need plus more. Bed very comfortable & great kitchen if you felt like cooking,even great selection of pantry items for guests to use. Non slip shower mat was an unexpected bonus as I have balance issues, well done to the hosts for making us welcome Thank you 😊

We really enjoyed our time and the location is excellent for privacy and enjoying nature. Our kids loved interacting with the gentle farm animals. Cooking is a little more challenging in the wood fired oven but great for an authentic country experience. One small suggestion would be to move the fire pit out of the shed (where the animals sleep and poo). On the whole, a great experience and we look forward to going back.

A idyllic and luxurious spot to unwind and enjoy a holiday. The space was just like the photos, clean with all the little things we needed from pantry staples to binoculars and Bluetooth speakers. The bath in the east wing was a great spot to soak with a view and the pool was also well used. The spot was perfect for two couples but you could easily fit two kids in the third room. Suzie was quick to communicate and accommodating to any requests we made. Overall a great experience.

We had a best 3 months stay at The Risk Cottage!! Sally’s place was brilliant, great value for money and great location. Cottage was clean and welcoming, bed was comfy and the shower was great , We were welcomed with beautiful flowers, and a basket full of fresh local fruits, added bonuses with the tea and coffee, small pantry full of breakfast cereal, sauces, oils, vinegar etc and all the other kitchen amenities. Mountain view was breathtaking!! Few steps and there’s a beautiful creek just on the corner, lovely trees and birds chirping in the morning, beautiful sunset in the afternoons, it was a great stay and would recommend it to everyone. Sally, Shaun and their kids Annie,Tom and Charlie were beautiful. They helped us throughout our 3 months stay over at The Risk Cottage. Jack, Skipper, Sox and the potty cow Frank, also the horses gave us such a wonderful experience as both me and my partner love animals. We also got to meet Sally and shaun’s friends and few other locals and we felt like we were home. We feel so lucky to have found this little treasure in the Northern Rivers. I would definitely give more than 5 ⭐️

Such a beautiful peaceful location that is food for the soul. Kim and Dean have certainly created a special space to share with true warm hospitality. Kept so clean with quality fittings, accessories, flawless wifi and an incredibly comfortable bed. I would highly recommend a few days at this private unique cabin.

Thanks again for a great stay Nick. We have finally finished our works in the area but hope to be back. If staying down in the Nimbin area highly recommend Nicks place. Nick is excellent to deal with. Linda
