This place was wonderful. Location was in such a sweet and serene area overlooking the canal. The home was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were responsive when I had trouble with washing machine and offered multiple solutions. We were close to many nice shops, restaurants and subway lines. We would definitely stay here again and we're said to leave such a great property.

This place was very clean and comfortable. It was a good size for our family of five and a nice, private location. We would have appreciated some instructions for the hot water in the shower (which was surprisingly not self-explanatory). Otherwise, we had no complaints. There were helpful directions for the other appliances. I was happy to have a sleep mask, as our bedroom was not very dark. Our bed was very comfortable.

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb just outside of Kyoto! The house is a beautiful blend of traditional Japanese design with modern comfort, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The surrounding scenery is stunning, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Having a restaurant nearby was incredibly convenient, allowing us to enjoy delicious local food just steps away. If you’re looking for an authentic and serene getaway near Kyoto, this place is a fantastic choice!

小学生時代の同級生グループで利用させて頂きました!すごく綺麗で清潔にされていて、とても安心してくつろげました!価格もお手ごろで大学生のグループでも無理せず宿泊できてとても良かったです! kuniko様はメッセージの返答が早く丁寧でとても安心感のある方でした!!BBQがやりたいことを伝えると、当日の天候などを加味して、より良いプランを教えて下さり、おすすめのご飯屋さんなども教えてくださいました! チェックインからチェックアウトまでの流れも分かりやすくて手間取ることがなかったです! とっても大きなお家で、大人6人でもストレスなく過ごせました! 今回ここに宿泊して本当に良かったと思いました!

Had a great stay, loved the hiking near the airbnb

The location is in a quiet neighborhood a short walk from the Keihan line, which runs up and down the city and will take you all the way to Osaka if needed. If you like walking, you can get to Kawaramachi and Kyoto Station and beyond. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-furnished, equipped with everything I needed and more. The coffee table and entryway were stocked with a number of travel pamphlets. The building itself is charming in a very '80s way, but the elevator is smooth and quiet. Last but certainly not least, Sumi is a true superhost, bringing much-needed Kyoto hospitality to Airbnb accommodations. She was ready to help with anything related to my trip, even things I hadn't though of yet.

Sumi’s place was a great base in Kyoto. Plenty of things to see and great restaurants within a 15 min walk, and pretty easy to get elsewhere on transit. The place felt spacious and comfortable. As others have mentioned, Sumi is a stellar host - so friendly and responsive.

Sumi a été une hôte formidable. Elle nous a donné des instructions claires pour se rendre, nous attendait dehors à notre arrivée et était disponible si nous avions des questions. Le logement est spacieux, bien équipé et correspond aux photos. À quelques minutes de marche de plusieurs temples et de restaurants. Je recommande ce logement dans hésiter!

特别值得关注的住宿！虽然樱花季略贵，但是也很不容易订到哈，绝对属于“大隐隐于市”的感觉，交通便利，周边全是各种著名的餐厅，火爆的烧肉店就在隔壁，房屋前后都是樱花、河流、鸭鸟…房间里也是设施完备。最大亮点就是大露台，在这里吃饭、聊天、看风景体验感一流！房东KEN也非常热情细致，还送了小礼物，感谢！

This place is all you need to get rest and get around Kyoto easily! You can go to Kiyomizu-dera temple less than 5 minutes walk, and after 6 p.m the temple is even more beautiful! 5 minutes walk from Gojozaka bus station, 10 minutes walk to Gion bus station. Everything is easy to reach. Thanks to Mr. Yasuyuki and wife for having me! See you again next time 😃

Fantastic place. He and his wife cleaned, disinfected and restocked the place everyday. It was also really comfortable and they were very open to talking to me. Yasuyuki even shared a beer with me! Also extremely close to the best tourist spots in Kyoto. Highly recommend! I was also very well received by Yasuyuki when I first arrived, and very well treated when I left.

京都の人気に伴い、周辺のホテルやゲストハウスの料金が高騰する中、こちらでは非常にリーズナブルに宿泊できました。星乃さんご夫妻が3月にオープンされたばかりで、施設はとても清潔で、リラックスできる空間でした。これまでいくつかのゲストハウスに宿泊しましたが、ホスピタリティの面ではここが一番だと感じました。多様な国籍の方々が利用されていましたが、宿泊客全員に対して親切にコミュニケーションを取られている点が素晴らしかったです。またぜひ利用させていただきたいと思います。快適な3日間をありがとうございました。 Amidst the rising prices of hotels and guesthouses around Kyoto due to its popularity, I was able to stay here at a very reasonable rate. The hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Hoshino, just opened in March, and the facility was very clean and provided a relaxing atmosphere. I have stayed at several guesthouses before, but I felt that the hospitality here was the best. Guests from various countries were using the facilities, and it was great to see the hosts communicating kindly with everyone. I would love to stay here again. This is an excellent place to stay with a comfortable bed and thoughtful furnishings. Sumi is an excellent host who provides so much useful information and is always willing to help. She even dropped me at Kyoto station after I checked out. I loved the view from the window and the fact that this place is in a quiet neighbourhood but close by to many amenities and restaurants. Perfect host and stay.

Je remercie énormément KA House ! Nous sommes arrivés très en avance de notre voyage de Osaka et ils ont préparé la chambre en avance. Il y a tous ce qu'il faut en terme de couverts, produit douche et tout ce qui concerne la cuisine. La gentillesse de ceux qui gère l'établissement se ressent énormément par message. Ils sont là en cas de besoins et répondent assez rapidement. Je vous conseille vivement d'y prendre quelques, c'est confortable et typique. Merci encore KA House pour ce moment inoubliable !

Logement en tout point fidèle à la description. Idéalement placé en plein centre de Kyoto avec de nombreux sites accessibles à pied (Gion, Shijo-dori) et des stations de métro à proximité directe du logement. Un excellent rapport qualité prix et un très bon accueil de May.

Lovely place to stay - clean, big, and very well equipped!

Nicely designed building. Room is tight but cozy. Toilet has heater which is extremely useful in winter. Need to walk a fair distance to the closest train stations.

Staffs are friendly and the room is nice. Although the bed is smaller than what we expected, we still have a good time there. Nice location and nice infrastructure.
