We felt very happy. Kaz was very welcoming and kind. The neighbourhood is calm and it's easy to take public transport. It have Supermarkets around, local restaurants and a public bath. We could use the bicycles for go around and next to the river were we saw beautiful birds. Kaz ks also an artist that make beautiful works. We recommend and will be back next time we'll visit Kyoto.

I stayed here for a month and loved it! JR line right down the street that goes right to Kyoto station. Busses nearby with access to all over the city + shrines. Great for tourists and great for people living long term locally since it's surrounded by a bunch of fantastic restaurants and has a grocery store directly infront of the house. It made my Kyoto stay very nice. One of the cleanest places I've stayed as well! The only downside I can think of is that it's on a road with a hospital just a few minutes away so there were quite a few ambulances in the area so it made sleeping with the door open kind of difficult but that is not a fault of the home at all. Would definitely recommend to friends and family in the future!

미도스지선 니시나카지마 미나미가타 역 근처의 레지던스 스타일 방입니다. 1~2명 숙박에 특화된 자취방같은 느낌이고, 넓고 편안합니다. 화장실과 욕실, 세면실이 별개로 분리되어 있는 구조입니다. 청소 상태도 깨끗하고, 세탁기와 세제 덕분에 빨래도 걱정 없어요. 다만 건조할 공간은 조금 애매하기에 다이소에서 접이식 건조대를 구비해두시는게 좋겠습니다. 한가지 아쉬운 점은 방음인데, 근처에 철도가 있습니다. 야간에 건널목 신호기 소리와 기차 소리가 들리기도 해요. 며칠 지내다 보니 되려 마음이 편안해지는 화이트 노이즈처럼 받아들여졌습니다. 동네 자체가 관광지가 아니기 때문에 늦게까지 시끄럽게 구는 사람은 없습니다. 근처에는 횡단보도 하나 건너편에 편의점이 있고, 맞은편에 약국도 있습니다. 철길을 건너면 24시간 운영하는 패밀리 레스토랑도 있죠. 숙소에서 5분 걸으면 1번 출입구에요. 미도스지선은 오사카의 관광 및 쇼핑 어디든 갈 수 있는 최고의 교통수단입니다. 도톤보리가 있는 난바역, 신사이바시역, 우메다역을 환승 한 번 없이 이용 가능하고, 배차 간격이 짧아 놓쳐도 괜찮습니다. 막차 시간도 자정 넘어서까지 있기 때문에 여유롭습니다. 호스트 분들도 매우 친절하십니다. 기본적인 소통도 매우 원활하고, 한국어 및 영어 안내를 기본으로 하고 계십니다. 오사카 여행이 처음이시라면 근처 명소나 맛집 추천을 해주시기도 하니까, 꼭 확인해보시길 바래요

The apartment was exactly as described. Everything was in order and clean. The area is quiet and walkable. There is a park in a walking distance and place for a workout.

The place was exactly as described. It was very close to the shin-Osaka station and very clean as a studio apartment with 2 separate beds. It also had a nice view on the 9th floor but the neighborhood was almost too quiet. Very little commercial activity on that side of the train station. But very easy to travel to the more fun areas.

After spending a few nights in a hotel in Tokyo it was great to stay at May’s property which was spacious and met all our needs. May’s husband met us at the property and gave us clear instructions and recommendations for local dining options. It was a great location within walking distance to shops, restaurants, Nijo Castle and the Nishiki markets. The property had all the amenities advertised and was great to have washing facilities. Thank you for being great hosts!

Lugar muy bien ubicado, estaba a dos calles de una zona popular, pero la calle en donde está el alojamiento es tranquila. Fue fácil llegar a todos lados, el transporte público, tanto bus como metro estaba a pocos minutos. Me hospedé sola por lo que fue muy cómodo y contaba con lo necesario para pasar unos días agradables. En algunos momentos se escuchaba ruido pero realmente no me molestó. La relación calidad/precio me agradó.

Joe's mom was incredibly welcoming and made check-in a breeze. The room was spotless and had everything we needed, plus some! The neighborhood was serene, with a park and convenience store just a short walk away. We were also delighted to find ourselves near fantastic kaiseki restaurants and izakayas. There's also the amazing Goodman Roaster right across the street!

We had a wonderful stay at April's place! April and her super cute daughter gave us a very warm welcome with tea, chocolates and a game to play. April was always quick to respond to our msgs and gave us a lot of recommendations on nearby restaurants and even evening tickets to a temple. The apartment is very close to the main train station (10 min walk with suitcases) and 7-9 stops by bus from the main attractions. As buses were very often crowded, we used Uber quite often and it works really well. There are a few stores and restaurants close to the apartment. The apartment was spotless and bigger than it seems in the pics. April changed our towels every second day and we even did laundry for an extra charge. We were 3 adults and we felt it's comfortable enough. We warmly recommend April's apartment!

We truly can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay at Andrea and Mayumi’s place was during our time in Kyoto. From the authentic feel of the tatami mats to the peaceful, gorgeous view of the river literally right below the balcony, we felt like we were in our own private Kyoto haven, which was perfect as we were on our honeymoon! Andrea and Mayumi made us feel so welcome and comfortable during our stay, right down to the little chocolate cookies placed thoughtfully on our pillows upon arrival. The location was ideally situated near one of Kyoto’s main streets and just a short bus or train ride from Arashiyama, Nara, and all of Kyoto’s most famous shrines. The apartment was also located down the street from a quirky and quaint dive named Bar Carole King, which we highly recommend if you’re into Japanese dives. We will remember our stay here for years to come and hope to return in the future!

Check in was easy and Mashitos communication was great. We were a group of 3 couples and were very comfortable. The surprising highlight - the shower! We found the same shower head of Amazon and plan to purchase once we’re home. Close enough to everything we needed. Thank you for a fabulous stay’

Great 2 bedroom apartment for our family. Curtis and his team have a welcome binder with useful recommendations for restaurants and local advice. Very authentic Japanese style home with modern and comfortable amenities. We loved it!

Overall an amazing stay. We needed a spot that we could stay and keep our things- we didn’t spend much time there outside of sleeping there. Location was perfect and Host was very helpful.

Tolle Unterkunft! Neben der guten Lage, in der Nähe der Metro und mit nahegelegenen Cafés und Restaurants, hat uns besonders die Einrichtung und Ausstattung des Apartments gefallen. Nach einem langen Tag in der Stadt fühlt es sich an als würde man nach Hause kommen. Die Bilder entsprechen zu 100% der Realität und die Kommunikation mit Nadia verlief reibungslos und freundlich. Alles in allem eine 10/10. Danke!

Loved staying here, Taiyo’s family was so friendly and sweet. Was very helpful and I was also able to luggage forward to my next hotel as she called Yamato transport so they could pick up my luggage. Room was very spacious and had everything I needed. Would highly recommend and next time I’m in Kyoto I would definitely stay here again!!

Perfect spot to explore Kyoto without being directly in the hustle and bustle of it all. Quiet neighborhood and the hot tub at the end of a long day of exploring is a life saver. Seth is a host who goes above and beyond to make his guests have the best time!

Super Unterkunft, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Bahnstation ist eine Minute entfernt und verschiedene Geschäfte und Restaurants sind ebenfalls fußläufig erreichbar. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und z.B. direkt bei der Öffnung des Briefkastens geholfen damit wir an den Schlüssel kommen. Zudem hat die Unterkunft einen Aufzug, was bei schwerem Gepäck sehr angenehm ist. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Kana's property was perfect to bunk down and recover from a day's walkabout. Easy walking access to the local train station which connects to Shin-Osaka station in one stop - very convenient for us as we were going to Kyoto regularly during our stay. Peaceful and quiet, just like living at home in the suburbs for us. The steep staircase was expected, once the luggages were up it was all good - plenty of space for the two of us to lay out luggage out in the lounge. Bathroom and toilet were clean, and the washing machine was great - even better was a small foldable drying rack for towels and clothes to dry. The AC unit is perfect as it blows air through the lounge to the bedroom. The living areas had good sunlight as well, as when we got back home in the evenings, upstairs would be comfortably warm. Definitely recommend this spot if you want value for money (Kyoto and Osaka were pricier when we looked), comfort and space (at least for 2) and easy access to public transport.

The staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. The room is compact, but fine for 2 people. It was very clean, quiet, and comfortable with good mattresses.
