来京都的动力，很大部分来自于洋子的住处。洋子像是家人一样照顾我，房间很温馨，整洁，每天都会精心准备早餐。洋子还会和我讨论日本的文化，给我推荐当地的好吃的好玩的地方。我到达的时候洋子一直在门口守候着，一直关心有没有吃过，让人感动！临走的时候还教我抹茶做法，帮我买了好多相纸，很感谢洋子，我会向所有人推荐洋子的住处！

オーナーさんが非常に優しい方です。 イベント後に伺いましたが、チェックイン時間がかなり変更になったにも関わらず、快くご対応いただけました。 今回は入浴施設の後に伺いましたが、お風呂を利用する場合は事前に連絡すれば湯船にお湯をためておいていただけるとのことです。 施設は、建物自体は少し古めですが、きれいにリフォーム等されていて、和室も全く不快感もありませんでした。 暖房をつけておいていただいたので寒さも気になりませんでしたし、布団は寒さ対策で2枚敷布団でご用意いただきました。 朝食もアットホームなものをいただき、大変満足です。 今回は夜遅くに伺い、朝早く出たので寝るだけの滞在となりましたが、機会あればもう少しゆっくり滞在したいと思う宿でした。 ありがとうございました！

Larry was a great host, Providing great recommendations and telling us the right timings to do items as to avoid crowds and picked us up from the train station which really helped with our baggage, Couldn’t recommend a stay here more!

Keiko女士的美丽的房子坐落在安静迷人的山上，房子是非常传统的日式风格，住在这里能体验到浓浓的当地的氛围。Keiko把花园打理得非常美丽自然，最值得称赞的是Keiko每天精心做的从不重复的早餐，真的是美味至极！比我在外面吃的午餐和晚餐还要更丰盛。Keiko女士亲切善良，还会每天开车接送客人，在车上我们聊得非常开心愉快，我还学习到了好多日语。我这次已经深深爱上了京都，早上在Keiko的指导下学习做章鱼小丸子的美好记忆将会一直保留在我的脑海里，下次再来还会入住Keiko的房子！

Easily the best AirBnB experience we’ve had. Yoko’s place is a perfect place to stay in Kyoto, but it’s much more than just a place to rest your head. Yoko is helpful beyond words and goes out of her way to assist and make you feel at home. I can’t praise her or her house enough.

Very friendly owner! 😊 The house is a bit small for group of 7, but it is cosy. They have very nice garden, old school way of blocking cold wind. Interesting experience! Not convenient if no car though. If you want to enjoy peaceful and local Japanese house, this will be a good choice.

Lily was a joy to interact with. She looks after her guests very well, serving delicious breakfasts and dropping and picking us up from the station even when she was injured and so busy. We leave with fond memories of our visit. The only downside was we didn't know the toilets were shared between other guests but we managed. It was a different experience and the place was impeccably clean and her decor beautiful. Her friendliness and warmth more than made up for that. Wish you the very best Lily with your new air bnb which is set to open later this year. Love from India and Australia

Nori and Fumi were absolutely amazing, from the beginning to the end! They even received our luggages ahead of time and picked us up from the train station. The apartment was beyond our expectations; the bed was so comfortable and the biggest one we had in Japan, spacious living space and kitchen. The ability to do laundry was just icing on the cake! Breakfast was served every morning and it was delicious! Nori gave us an option of doing a traditional Japanese or American breakfast at the cool cafe. The location was right outside of the chaos of Kyoto but very close to the train/bus, restaurants, conventions stores, etc. Fumi took us to a local spot every morning and dropped us off closer to where we wanted to be and gave us recs! The experience with Fumi and Nori was just invaluable. We long to come back and visit them as they are just the most wonderful humans! It was great getting to know them and making new friends in Japan; they added so much to our trip. Thank you so much

The host was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere was always friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for me since I was attending a conference at the international conference centre (20 minute walk). The facilities were excellent for the price.

This guest house is will be the best choice. The host tommy is very kind and mindful. He speaks english very well, so someone who didn't speak japanese will be satified. Also, the domitory bed was very nice. It's cozy and comfotable. And Tommy will give you breakfast If you request. The toast was tasty. I recommend this guest house, you will not regret your choice. 반려견을 데리고 1개월동안 외국으로 여행가보는 건 처음인데다 출발 하기 전 과정도 순탄치 않았기때문에 강아지와 둘이 잘 다닐 수 있을까 걱정을 많이 했었는데, 그런 걱정이 무색하게도 유키에&케빈씨가 이것저것 많이 챙겨주셔서 여행 내내 정말로 즐거웠습니다😊 숙소를 일반적인 맨션이나 호텔로 잡았다면 없었을 추억도 많이 생겨서 너무나 감사하게 생각하고 있습니다! 공항까지, 역까지 여행내내 차로 픽업해주시고 매일 맛있는 식사도 챙겨주셔서 너무 감사했어요 마을의 모두도 친절하고 상냥하셔서 강아지와 함께 일본의 시골을 잔뜩 만끽하고 왔고 사람 많고 번잡한 관광보다 자연과 함께하는 조용하고 여유로운 여행을 더 선호하는 편이라 더더 좋았어요☺️ 새로운 키즈나 하우스도 기대하고 있으니 집의 수리가 끝나게 되면 꼭 초대해주세요💓 두분 다 건강 잘 챙기시고 다시 만나게 되는 날까지 즐거운 일만 가득하시길 바라겠습니다🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️ 코스모쨩, 히나쨩도 건강하게 잘 지내!!

Staying here was the best part of my trip. Chieri is an amazing host and I had a great time getting to know some of the locals in the area.

I planned a trip to Kyoto with a classic B&B vibe in mind and while there was no opportunity to eat all together, Tsukiya was perfect! Location was exactly where we wanted to be in the city, with easy access to public transit and even walkable areas. The breakfasts every morning were thoughtfully crafted starting about 2 hours beforehand. The space was authentic - highly recommend to anyone going to Kyoto!

I’m so glad I found this spot! I immediately felt comfortable and welcomed. My room had everything I needed, and despite the cold front in Kyoto the heater kept things very cozy. Make sure to get up for breakfast in the morning, it’s delicious! And the location is everything you’d want on a trip to Kyoto - especially if you like the Gion area. I hope to be back soon!

Staying at John’s place in Shiga was an unforgettable experience! John is an incredibly passionate and energetic host, always full of enthusiasm. He and his lovely wife, Rika, made me feel right at home. They even invited me to join their family for a delicious homemade dinner, and Rika kindly provided breakfast as well. Their son, Andre, was also very friendly, and I truly enjoyed our conversations. The house itself is a charming countryside cottage surrounded by beautiful nature, making it a perfect getaway. If you’re visiting Shiga, staying with John is an absolute must! Highly recommended!
