The stay at Mandor was totally fantastic. It was exactly the peaceful night I needed after Machu Pichu. I would recommend staying here if you are coming along the Salkantay trail and have an early arrival at Machu Pichu. The gardens and waterfall are so well kept and pristine. I would definitely come back here! Thank you, Erwin!

Our room was cozy, clean, and basic. We were in the top unit so had the best view, although anyone could walk up to the rooftop terrace to see the 360 degree view. Ollantaytambo is incredibly scenic and interesting and well worth a day or two of exploration. Edison's location was very convenient. The breakfast was good (eggs, bananas, rolls, margarine, jam, coffee, tea, & juice) and we enjoyed our conversations with Edison. This hostal only has six or seven units and we enjoyed the smaller scale of things along with the central garden space. For advice, try out Apu Veronica restaurant, which Edison recommended to us. Easily the most spectacular meal of our trip and very reasonably priced.

Great place, close to everything, the square, restaurants, and just a few minutes to the Ollantaytambo sanctuary! This place is beautiful and hot water shower was always great! Justa (host) is very kind and we asked to introduce us drivers and found very good two drivers for our two amazing tour days! The breakfast was the best🙌 Definitely recommend this place👍

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. The room was amazing, the hotel grounds are beautiful and the staff is the friendliest I have ever encountered. The food was delicious and fresh as this is a farm to table establishment. We came back to Ollantaytumbo after our Machu Picchu visit and I am glad we did. It's a great place to relax and reflect on our trip. While the front of the hotel is located at the train station, this was never an issue and I don't think I ever heard the train. The rooms could be a bit chilly but a space heater is provided and there is plenty of bedding. This did not bother us. If I ever come back to Peru again, this hotel will be a definite stop. I highly recommend staying here!

We loved this home! Much more beautiful than the pictures. The view of the mountains and ruins was spectacular, the breakfast was tasty, Jorge was so kind, welcoming and helpful, and our room was perfect. My husband is 6’5” and he fit on the bed! We will definitely stay here on our next visit, I highly recommend you do as well. Gracias Jorge

Clean, convenient, comfy beds, hot water and ok breakfast, boxed on the day we needed to leave salty. The WiFi was a little patchy. Of course given the location it’s noisy but all in all we had a good stay

Everything was amazing! The two brothers that run the place are extremely nice and accommodating. “Mi casa es tu casa” is their moto and they made us feel it. The food was also incredibly good and a highlight of our stay. Overnight they made us a fire in the pit and we watched the stars. Highly recommend and we hope to return.

What a pleasure it was for us to stay with Carlos and Norma for our time in Urubamba. If you are thinking it's a bit out of the way, it's absolutely worth it. Their home is beautiful and their presence is warm. We did our best with minimal Spanish on our side and lots of Goog Translate, but we made it work. They are generous and hospitable hosts. We would absolutely return.

Excelente lugar para pasar un buen fin de semana

La habitación, la ducha y el desayuno estaban increíbles, la atención del personal también fue muy buena y atenta a las necesidades que tuviéramos. Lo único que deben de tener en consideración antes de reservar es el ruido que deja el paso del tren y del río a un lado del lugar, ya que, obvio, la vista es increíble, pero el ruido va a seguir ahí, sin embargo, si eres de sueño pesado como el mío, no será problema. Por mi parte, lo recomiendo totalmente, el desayuno me pareció genial en comparación al resto de lugares en los que arrendé tanto en Aguas Calientes como en Cusco, la ducha es muy calientita y me permitieron dejar mi equipaje y cargar mis equipos electrónicos una vez volví a buscarlos en la tarde antes de emprender mi viaje de vuelta!

Nice central location with clean room and refreshing pool! The staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel is beautiful which is a nice bonus!

I enjoyed my stay there and would stay again. The sheets, pillows and bed are very comfortable. Tv works great and you get some English channels. The free hot breakfast was large and excellent. There’s an elevator which made life easier. They sell water and soda by the front desk.

This bnb is a MUST! The staff is so accommodating and kind. The space is stunning. So worth driving from Cusco! Especially because it’s a good central location to almost everything you would want to do. The first day I went on a small walk up and it’s such a beautiful landscape and the people are so friendly. You walk out of your room and immediately get an amazing view of the mountains. If you want to experience Peru like a local and not a tourist, you have to stay here. If I could give them 50 stars I would.
